I am trying to use the SFAutoComplete control from SyncFusion in a Xamarin iPad app. (only iPad).
I am not able to get any sort of change event to fire.
What I've tried:
If you download SyncFusion and install it, it comes with a "SampleBrowser" app that has samples for all the controls in the suite.
If you open that SampleBrowser in visual studio and open the AutoComplete_Tablet.cs file after line 97, I've added this code:
countryAutoComplete.ValueChanged += (sender, args) =>
{
suggestionModeLabel.Text = "IT WORKED!";
};
But it never fires.
I've tried to use several different events from the list of events this control has (partial list from screenshot):
None of them seem to fire (I haven't tried ALL of them).
What do I need to do to get one of these events to fire? What am I missing?

Delegate property can be used to hook the SFAutoComplete's events as per in the following code example,

I have a Timer in a fragment and I want the timer to pause when the app is minimize(user clicks home or recent apps).
What should I do?
It seems that the fragment doesnt have onPause! The parent activity has it, which is useless because there I don't have access to the timer.
I also tried to make home button and set on click listener for it but I got null pointer exception error and when I used the code below

according to the documentation , fragments have an onPause method. you can use it normally like you would do in an activity.

I am getting an Excel spreadsheet with columns but, no data when I click on the Excel icon on a grid.
I have put a grid on the CR306030 page that is tied to a view of a custom DAC that relates back to the CRActivity record for the page. I have set the SkinID to Inquire and the AllowImport = true. The view in my Graph extension class looks like this:

I'm not sure what I am missing. I am trying to export the data in the grid so, I may be way off here.

This happened because I had an update() call inside of a FieldSelecting() event handler. This, for some reason, caused the export to quit working. This presents another problem for me that I will post in another question but, the export issue is resolved. Here's what my code looked like in the extended graph that was causing the issue:

Adding Export button is all that should be required. Setting SkinID to inquire will do that for you.
It seems you are running into an uncommon scenario so I would suggest to rollback tentative solutions like adding Import functionality that isn't required in case your implementation has errors causing conflicts with export functionality.
Next issue I would suspect is a kind of security/rights issues or an explicit call to disallow exporting records. Removing unnecessary code and substituting the DAC you are using could help expose the root cause as some specific entity could have been locked down by security while others aren't.
If you're familiar with Acumatica web services it could be worth a shot to test if records from the grid can be retrieved by web service. If they can't then that points towards security/rights issues.
i want to update the text field value when i was changed.for this i use action listener because every updation time one trigger was fired in my code so,that's the reason i used action listener instead of data changed listener.for data changed listener on key pressed the listener is called updation done but my requirement is after completion of entering the data on text field only the listener is called.but it is not calling properly.

I just tested this on my iPad and action listener was invoked as expected. Check that you don't have a different error that is causing this e.g. networking error related to https change in iOS.
FYI on a side note, it's really bad to write this:
searchField.setPreferredW(110);
You are limiting the size of the field based in pixels which is rarely the right thing to do. The method is deprecated for a reason...

Architecturally the most elegant way would be to create a custom LWUIT component which encapsulates the MapCanvas and exposes a standard LWUIT interface - in other words basic use of an adaptor pattern. There is an example of this pattern to be found within the Nokia Projects Tourist Attractions example (the version updated for LWUIT). I have an application that has a class named: UploadItem. The application creates uploading tasks based on information it has, for example, an upload needs to be created to upload a file to sitex.com with this the application creates a new UploadItem and adds that to an ObservableCollection, the collection is bound to a listview.
Now comes the part that I cannot solve.. I decided to change the structure so that people can create their own plugins that can upload a file, the problem lies with the fact that the UploadItem class has properties such as:

But the plugin controls on how a file is uploaded, so how would the plugin edit the PercentageDone property that is located in the UploadItem class? If there is no way to do such a thing, then is there another way to achieve the same, i.e. showing the progress on the main GUI?
You'll want to define an interface for the plugins. Something like:

The plugins then need to implement this interface and export themselves:

Notice that this plugin implements INotifyPropertyChanged. This is an easy way to handle updating the progress. Fire PropertyChanged on the Progress property and then databind your ProgressBar control in the main view to this property. Make sure that you fire PropertyChanged on the UI thread.
Another option would be to fire a custom event when the property changes. You could handle this event in the main view logic and update the progress.
Notice that I'm using Task for the return. This allows the caller to wait until the upload task finishes. You could use a callback instead, but with the CTP of the next version of .NET, using Task<> will allow you to use the await keyword for your async programming. Check it out here and here.
