I have brought one new VPS(unmanaged VPS) from a2hosting.com.
They provide me IP(199.195.116.118) and Nameservers (dns1.name-services.com and dns2.name-services.com).
My domain is omniitworld.com.
I have changed my domain's dns to dns1.name-services.com and dns2.name-services.com.
When I check DNS of omniitworld.com on mxtoolbox.com, it shows dns1.name-services.com and dns2.name-services.com.
It means my site's DNS is pointed to VPS DNS successfully.
But omniitworld.com does not show page I have created on VPS.
Do I have to do any else on VPS or what I have to do now.
Please help in detail.
DNS lookup of your domain shows that, A record of your domain is pointing to IP address "69.64.147.243", it should be pointing to your VPS IP address, i.e. "199.195.116.118".

It seems that you are using default nameservers of your registrar, "Enom Incorporated".
To point your domain to VPS, you'll have to change A record to "199.195.116.118".

My domain register from godaddy site I don't know how to connect this domain form an azure server. I have added these DNS server names in godaddy.
ns1-03.azure-dns.com.
ns2-03.azure-dns.net.
ns3-03.azure-dns.org.
ns4-03.azure-dns.info.
Is it right or wrong? How do i manage my domain's DNS in Azure?
What it shows you by nslookup?
If you can see those NS code, yes right.
When your domain issued, you can see what name server(NS) using in your domain by nslookup or any nslookup web services.
Make sure, your domain issued, it would take times until get your domain more than 2days or less depends on domain service companies.
These NS value would print on your prompt or cmd querying domain.

Given:
a domain w/ gofather: gloriousdomain.com
w/ nameservers pointing to server w/ hostcrocodile
a subdomain: sub.gloriousdomain.com
a server w/ digitalpond and ip: 123.456.78.9
an A-Recordin hostcrocodile pointing sub.gloriousdomain.com -> 123.456.789
How do I make it so that when I enter sub.gloriousdomain.com in my browser it doesn't just reroute me and change my url to 123.456.78.9
cases where it's worked before
wordpress :
when you first set it up, it does the whole route to ip thing
then you finish the setup w/ it asking the subdomain and magically it's fixed
redmine
routes to ip until you type in the subdomain
Interesting facts
When I ping 123.456.78.9 it pings back 123.456.78.9
I thought passenger on top of nginx was doing some work helping the resoloution for redmine and that's why it worked, but to test it I stopped the service and pinged my redmine box
It turns out it was my ISP.
I reset my router thinking perhaps it was caching the page, turns out it was the ISP, they were serving me a cached version.

I changed hosting company which hosted my page to a other one but domain is still hosted by the old company. I can do two things:
- I can change "A" record in the old company control panel to point to new IP.
- I can input old company dns servers to control panel of new one
maybe I should figure out new company dns servers and input them in old company as external dns?
What should I do?
Both options are acceptable. The second option is more easy for you, because you should also enter CNAME and MX records if you choose the first one.

I brought few domain names from a domain register in my Country. So yea they manage the domain like change DNS etc. Is there a way that I can mange my own DNS.
Example:
Domain Register (DNS) points ---> DNS Manager Service (This is where I will manage the DNS) from my side. It will like a redirecting DNS just like we redirecting websites from one domain to another.
Hope you understand what am trying to say here. I don't whats its called. Did Google but even a clue what am looking for.

You need a managed DNS service.
There is a nice list on wikipedia
Once you acquire one of these services, you will inform your domain register to point to the managed DNS site. Any request for your domains is forwarded to the managed DNS site. You will use a control panel on the managed site to further forward to your final destination (rented cloud server, server at home, construction page, etc)

New to Server Administration, we all have to start somewhere.
I have been using shared hosting for years but i am trying out a VPS.
I purchased a VPS for 4 months trial with a single IP
Installed Webmin and Virtualmin on the server.
I have several domains with 123-reg.co.uk and godaddy.com but hosting with another company.
I want to leave the domains managed by these companies but change the hosting to my new VPS on SOME domains.
Now the VPS does not have a domain attached and only has a single IP
So my question, how do I configure domains so I can change the nameserver to point to my new server? (Setting up a DNS Server) as you would for any hosting company.

You need to set up an A record on the domain to point to your VPS IP address.
In 123-reg go to 'manage domain' and you can edit the DNS records there.
Edit: if your VPS host provides DNS hosting then you can point the nameservers to them but as you said you want to keep the domains managed by the domain company then follow my suggestion above.
