Menu property for composer block - menu

Composer tab needs to have a block with a Menu Property. Is there an inbuild menu property in episerver 6 R2 or do I need to create a custom property for that? What do you suggest? Thanks
I am thinking of PropertyMultipleValue that would contain values for the menu items which I can then integrate with specific design for menu, would that work?

You could probably use a LinkItemCollection property to select pages that should be included in the menu, if you need to set the menu items explicitly.

Extending the "Files" menu

I have a process that involves extending the "Files" menu that is located on (most) acumatica pages (next to notes and activities in the top right)
I would like to add two columns to the table that appears in the smartpanel.
I have been looking for the source code/data behind this smart panel and I cant seem to find it, is it tied into SM202520 (search in files)? Can it be extended?
Am I better off just adding a PXAction button to the 3 or 4 pages I want my extended "files" menu to be?
Thanks
There's no DataView bound to that dialog, you can verify that by using inspect element shortcut key CTL+ALT+CLICK on a grid column header:
In order to be customized the grid needs to be bound to a DataView which inspect element reveals it is not. The lack of DataView binding is by design and therefore that dialog can't be customized.
A grid that can be customized will show the View Name property:

Drupal 8 Twig Template - Show menu if node has a menu item

I am creating custom twig templates for a Drupal 8 theme. I want to render a menu in a region only if the node has a menu link (i.e. when editing the node the menu settings on the right has been configured so the “provide a menu link” box has been checked).
Ideally I would like to create this in the twig template so I can change the layout accordingly, but any pointers greatly appreciated!
Usually this issue is handled differently(by creating a separate content type and set visibility) but for the sake of the question I'll give some solutions.
Solution 1: Block Visibility Groups.
If that is not enough.
Solution 2: hook_block_view_alter(or any other hook_ENTITY_TYPE_view_alter) where you can deactivate the access to menu block after you check if condition is met with Drupal::routeMatch() to check what node is displayed.

TestComplete Menu Item

I am new to TestComplete. I have a question and it may be something impossible or too simple. I have a toolbar containg File, Edit, View, etc. I want to get one item (eg. Edit) to mapped objects. I can get the whole toolbar only. I want to simulate a click event on Edit. How can I do this?
As a rule, TestComplete does not work with menu items as with separate objects. It works with a menu object or even only with a menu's parent object and you can specify which item to select by passing the caption of this item to the corresponding method of a menu object. For example:
objMenu.Click("Edit|Paste");
// or
parent.MainMenu("Edit|Paste");
Please find more details on how TestComplete interacts with menus in the Working With Menus help topic.

context menu for sharepoint list fields

Is it possible to set context menu to any fields in a sharepoint list, similar to the one dispalyed for the title field with link and edit menu ? Also i need the previlige to configure(add/remove) the options available in the context menu.Any suggestions?
Thanks!
There's no out-of-the-box option to attach the context menu to a different field, but there is a solution using powershell: http://www.ilovesharepoint.com/2008/08/add-sharepoint-list-item-context-menu.html
Adding options to the context menu can be done by putting a custom action in a feature: http://blog.thekid.me.uk/archive/2007/06/23/sample-editcontrolblock-customaction-for-sharepoint.aspx
There are things you can do to remove options from the context menu: http://metahat.blogspot.com/2007/01/hiding-sharepoint-2007-list-context.html
However be aware that editing the OOB javascript files is NOT supported and NOT good practice!

How do I remove items from the Site Actions menu in SharePoint?

How can I customise the Site Actions menu to remove or rename 'standard' menu items? Where are the site actions menu items defined?
The site actions menu is defined in the Siteaction.xml in Template\layouts\editingMenu under the 12 hive. The following link shows how to manually remove items.
Customize Site Actions Menu
I have added options to the menu using features, but have never tried to hide OTB option in code. I would be interested in your results.
Good luck!
I was able to hide the menu item I wanted to hide by using ConfigMenu="Delete" in the relevant XML node of SiteActions.xml. e.g.
<ConsoleNode ConfigMenu="Delete" ChangedNodeID="wsaCreateSite" />
The valid values for ConfigMenu are documented at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.sharepoint.publishing.webcontrols.configmenuoptions.aspx
I have used a control that runs javascript to hide the entire site actions menu for users of a certain privelege level.
That approach may be an option if you need to remove items for particular users.
It is not the worlds classiest approach however.
