Customisation Project Browser Permission Issue

So I'm trying to do portal customisation. I've managed to sort out the known issue with ProjectBrowserMaint. But when loading the customisation page. It's missing the tree items on the left side. I reckon its another access issue.
So I've explicitly configured the Access Rights on all the screens under the Customisation Project Browser. But still no joy.
So what else am I missing ? My login has an Administrator and Customiser roles already. And I'm using 2020 R1 Build 20.108.0019.
TIA

Why Sharepoint 2013 keeps asking me to log in?

I have an intranet web page. When I entered to the web page,it ask me to log in. When I put my credentials he lets me in but when inside he asks me again and again and again. If I click another section it will ask me again too.
I have tried adding the web page to trusted sites, credential manager on windows. I think this is not case since I have a qa site and doesn,t happens.
This only happens to this site because I have more sites on the server and they work as expected.
I have multiple sub sites on the page I don't know if this maybe related.
How can I solve this?
Thank you in advance.
Refresh your browser cache/ passwords..
If the page you are trying to access has some code/webpart which tries to access a resource to which you dont have access, then it can give this issue.

Kudu on IIS, orphaned site

I have Kudu running nicely on IIS, unfortunately, I have one small problem. There is currently an orphan site which Kudu won't let me manage. I can find no trace of the site on the server and when I try and go into it or delete it from the dashboard I get:
Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object.
I can't seem to work out where Kudu is storing the details of applications that it knows about so that I can go in and edit them. Can anybody help?
Thanks
Chris
I still have no idea how my orphaned site got on there but deleting all sites has fixed the issue.

I made it on a client pc having rights of administrator.I have tried quite a few thing by changing iis settings but this problem is not getting solved.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Do you have kerberos enabled in this environment? If it's not configured correctly, this behavior can happen. You might check your logs to see if there is any additional information.

sharepoint explorer view

can someone please tell me what i need so that i can see the explorer view for a library in sharepoint? it works on one machine and not another. it sometimes works on a vista client but not xp. it works in internet explorer but does not work on another machine with the same settings.
please help. wss 3.0 on windows server 2008 with vista and xp clients.
Thanks
It requires WebDav to be enabled on the server part, and WebClient to be running at the client. WebClient is just a service, see this technet entry for specific information on how to start it.
If WebClient is already running, make sure the SharePoint site is added to the "Trusted Sites" in IE. In Vista SP1 and up, the WebClient has a private list of "Trusted Sites" in the registry.
SharePoint explorer view actually doesn't work in IE8 on Windows XP SP3. The issue only occurs if your using SSL, and I've not seen a good solution to make this work. Interestingly, it works fine in IE7. Now if your using any other web browser besides IE, there is no way to get explorer view to work currently.
Also, the 64bit version of IE is a Level 2 browser with SharePoint 2007, so certain features don't work on that either. I think the explorer view is one of them, but my memory could be wrong. Microsoft has published what currently does and does not work between different browsers on SharePoint.
Make sure you have a site collection located at your web application root. This solved the problem in my case.
Problem : explorer view not working properly, except when :
explorer view selected in a subfolder of the document library
a network favorite pointing to the document library was created
I was trying to do a quick backup of a bunch of files, and the explorer view was not working. What finally worked was mapping a network drive to the sharepoint server, and then I was able to bulk copy and paste the folders/files to my backup server.
I don't know why MS makes so many things really difficult. But they do. But that worked for me.
