Customizing Acumatica B2B Shopping cart - acumatica

We are customizing the B2B Portal Ordering system with shopping cart look and feel, we ran into issue where we can't see the business logic in the Customization Manager, it's missing the code files. Could you pls confirm if we can customize B2B portal and also the code for calling Add To Cart functionality

The source code browser only lists code from PX.Objects.dll; the portal code is included in SP.Objects.dll. I would recommend that you use a tool such as Reflector or ILSpy to disassemble the code - it is not obfuscated and should give you something which is really close to the original source code.

The built-in page comment web part in SPO modern UI has not been exposed, we can't make use of it. We need to develop a custom SPFx web part. There is a plugin "jquery-comments", we can use it in the webpart. Please take a reference of below demo:

Custom Welcome Screen in Dynamics CRM

I Want to Show custom welcome screen when a user logs in to Dynamics CRM 2016. I searched and i just got how to disable welcome screen tour but i couldn't find how to show my own custom screen (message or HTML).
Any help is appreciated.

Make a dashboard with a single large HTML web resource.
Place your content inside that HTML web resource.
Set that dashboard as the default for new users. Display a specific dashboard by default for a specific user role
You can also add your welcome page as HTML web resource, add its link to your sitemap and set this sitemap subarea as a default tab for every user.
EDIT (detailed description):
Create custom HTML web resource and publish it in CRM.
Edit your sitemap to contain link to newly created web resource. Sample configuration below:

In my case my web resource HTML name is "new_welcome.html"
Go to user's personal options and set your new site.map position to be your user's default tab. You may do this with CRM interface (separately for every user :()) or with the tools for personal options mass update (for example with User Settings Utility from XrmToolBox)

I would suggest not to use announcements because of the following reasons:
It is legacy functionality from CRM 2011 version.
It does not support rich text formatting or html components, images, etc.
You still need to create custom web resource to present it to the end user (so from the work effort perspective it also does not make sense)

How to secure content in Orchard CMS

I'd like to use the roles and membership ability of Orchard CMS to limit access to a staff portal in Orchard CMS. At present there doesn't look like there's an out of the box way to do it.
I've found numerous references to modules that should be able to help out but none seem to work.
Very Simple Permissions is a codeplex item suggested by some that has a dead link nowadays and doesn't seem to exist on codeplex.
Science Project: Quanta destroys my site everytime I try to install it with a missing dll issue, and not sure if its what I need anyways.
Does anyone have any guidance as to how to either: show/hide menu items based on roles using the standard menu system or advanced menu plugin
or
limit content visibility based on roles. If its a module fantastic, otherwise don't mind getting my hands dirty with some coding but a point in the right way to do this mvc style would be great. I'm going to presume I need to edit the controller for the menu module to check for current membership and adjust the view data accordingly. I'm moving away from webforms. slowly. Still getting my head around the framework.

For those who are still struggling with this, there's a module is called ContentPermissions which is available here:

Once installed, you can then add the ContentPermissionsPart to the Content Type you want to secure.
Quanta really is what you want. You are probably missing one of its dependencies. Pete, the author, is also super-active on the CodePlex forums so if you ask there, you'll get an answer.
UPDATE: Orchard 1.5.1, the current version as I'm writing this update, supports content item permissions and menu trimming out of the box.

Customize MOSS People Picker (PeopleEditor) Control

I have modified my MOSS 2007 configuration to query a given target AD successfully. I would like to show some custom LDAP fields (such as country) in the PeopleEditor control and allow users to search against these fields. Can someone point me towards useful resources/tutorials showing how to do this?

You need to inherit from the EntityEditor control (just as PeopleEditor does) and write your own queries and validation.

Along with these links and carefully studying the PeopleEditor control with Reflector, another good resource is this blog post from Igor Kozlov. There's a less detailed but still useful example on MSDN here.
I'm working on a CodePlex project that queries any given Active Directory from a people picker. It's well documented and combines techniques from the various references out on the web (giving credit of course). Hope it helps someone as well!
A first step should be to map the fields form the AD to a attribute in the SharePoint user profile. You can do this in the configuration of the Share Service Provider (Central Administration > Shared Services > User Profiles and Properties).
There you add a new attribute and define which AD field should be mapped to it. You can also define which fields the users are allowed to override (but only in SharePoint, it's only a one ways synchronization) and which one are read only.
This blog post shows how to configure the SharePoint search to be able to search users by a custom attribute in the user profile.
I hope this will point you into the right direction.

Programatically Publishing InfoPath Form As Site ContentType (Not Central Admin)

Does anyone have any idea how to deploy an InfoPath Form (2007) as a Site ContentType programatically (script or object model)? I do not want the form published to Central Admin and FormServerTemplates, but rather a Forms Library created by a Web scoped feature. The intention is to be able to publish the form via script or code in order to deploy and test the form in dev/stage/prod environments.
Well, I had to cut bait. Seems the two links provided a workable solution for now.
Sahil Malik's articel here provided enough information to deploy the form and the data connection was a simple matter of adding a module to the elements file for the feature. Some tips for this can be found here
Howerver, it seems there is no way to deploy a form to anything other than a Site Feature. After diving into the assembly Sahil mentions with Reflector, there is a check in the code to ensure the Feature is Site scoped. Arrgghh. If anyone can explain why this is, and perhaps an alternative, I would greatly appreciate it! Hope this helps someone else.
