Creating a skeleton of part of a web page? - frontend

I have been given a requirement to create a layout for a new feature/functionality of a website. I want those reviewing the design to get an idea of both the functionality and feel of how it will look juxtaposed on the existing website. Below is an example of what I am trying to do. I'd appreciate if anyone get me started on this. I don't want to recommendations for tools as much as I want ideas on how would approach this.

Is there a way to deploy my app on a hosted platform?

Dear Stackoverflow people,
I am facing the following problem:
For an internship in a company I have created a leaflet map with several custom features such as custom popups, markerstyle etc. The thing is, in the end they are supposed to manage the whole thing. Since they don´t know anything about code they asked for the easiest possible way for them to add data to the map.
So I came across the serverside tutorial by CodingTrain using Node.js and thought its perfect for me. Now I created basically a webform that takes up all information, converts it into a geoJSON feature, stores it in a database and sends it to the map to be displayed, great easy GUI to add new features...
Now comes the bummer which I didnt know would be a problem: The website is on a hosted service called Bitrix. I uploaded my project and it does not recognize the routes and cant write to the database or anything. I actually dont know whether I can run node on this platform?
I had the idea to launch the whole thing on a Service like Heroku or Glitch and just take the map from there and include it into the other website via an Iframe or something like that. Do you guys think thats feasible? Are there any other better ways?
Sorry for my obvious cluelessness but I´m completely new to serverside programming and thought I´d found an easy way out... I am grateful for any kind of suggestions or help!

stripe-react-checkout custom form

I've been working on a charity website with React.js and Node.js in which I've used the React-Stripe-Checkout repository to have simple functionality at the very least.
I am now trying to figure out how to customize the form that appears with , or create my own.
Since I've been using this project as a way to really learn how to use React(only did an online bootcamp so far), there's a lot of functionalities and features that I don't yet understand.
I've searched many times online for a way to create a custom integration of Checkout with React but haven't been able to find anything concrete, and I'm not well-versed enough in React to convert the form from another language or framework.
Essentially asking for a tutorial, I would really like to learn how to do this, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Orchard CMS Developer's Guide

I have started looking in Orchard CMS a week ago. When it comes to doing anything on my Orchard website using the Admin dashboard, things look pretty promising. But when it comes to inducing a feature say create a Navigation menu and add a vertical sub menu to it,using the code, I just lose track. I am not able to find any kind of help regarding the technical(code level) features available with Orchard. I have gone through the PluralSight videos as well. But beyond that, nothing.
So, could anyone please provide any links or any samples they might have created so that I get some kind of guidance.
Thanks in Advance.

Is there existing functionality in Alfresco Web Quick Start for an advanced search?

I need to create advanced search functionality for my Alfresco website to search by custom metadata.
Does Alfresco provide existing functionality for an advanced search or will I have to code this using a new WQS page with a search form and webscripts?
If anyone knows this it would be a great help, don't want to reinvent the wheel and all that :) Thanks.
Given this information it is hard to tell how much effort it is to implement, but it sounds this could be done in a few hours - assuming you have a skilled developer.
Anyways, I would definitely not recommend to build a website based on quickstart unless you really feel comfortable coding "the Alfresco way" - that is Spring Surf and Alfresco Share. Of course you'll need some knowledge about how to code for the Repo as well. Keep in mind that quickstart as a best practice example is meant for educational purposes. Building on top of it most likely involves forking and starting your customization from there on. Before you decide to go this route, make sure a decent amount of your requirements are covered by quickstart.
I am now developing a workflow search in alfresco. For me, I have to create a new page like alfresco advanced search. Here is Share Advanced Search http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Share_Advanced_Search customizing sample.
Here is explanation about alfresco search. http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Search
I hope this may help you.

Reviewing a website

Hi
I'm looking for a tool (free/paid) like a program that help me in reviewing my website style and interface such as explain the content of the home page (footer, header ..... ) taking snapshots and write comment on them ... I know this can be done using (print screen) and the MS paint but I need a more professional tool to use .
thank you in advance
I'm not sure if I understand well, but conceptshare may be the tool you looking for.
There's a firefox extension called Screengrab that can capture an entire page. You could add annotations to that quite easily in a DTP tool.
I'm not sure about the type of review you're looking for.
If you want to have people using the website and giving you their feedback in terms of navigation, layout, design and content, you can use a www.usertesting.com services.
They'll enroll users to test out the website and them give you a URl to review a video/audio recording of each user test. It's a great way to validate your website.
Hope this is what you were looking for...
