npm install couchbase on linux machine failing - linux

I am trying to move node js application from windows machine to linux machine for QA environment and I am having trouble installing couchbase module on linux machine.
It ran fine on windows machine but I've tried this install on 4 different linux machine and I get this error message when I run
npm install couchbase --no-bin-links
I am on precise32 with vagrant for this logs.

I have posted npm-debug I got from this command to pastebin

You cannot install it with --no-bin-links on clean environment, because it relies on prebuild binary being accessible. To workaround it, you have to either remove this switch at all, or install prebuild before couchbase without it:
npm install prebuild
npm install couchbase --no-bin-links

Trying to install npm on Raspberry Pi Error

I am working on a simple smart mirror project with javascript and electron. I was able to get the software working on my laptop but when I moved it to the raspberry pi I am having issues installing npm. After entering "npm install" I get this:

Any ideas what to do? Thanks!
EDIT:
I updated the node.js to a more current version and now it installed without error. However, when I typed in the command
npm start
I get this:

Have you seen this issue? Electron works only on RaspberryPi 2/3 what version are you using?
Also have you run npm install before actually run the app? Sometimes when copying node_modules from OS to OS the executable permissions get very confused.
You can try a fresh install with: rm -rf node_modules && npm install

can anyone suggest any solutions?
Install nvm and use it to ensure you have a clean, up to date working Node setup. Try installing Node 7.something with nvm instead of 4.

I've deleted the node_modules and done 'npm install'.
I've updated Node npm and Ionic and uninstall and reinstalled them.
I can't seem to find the answer anywhere, I believe it might me because of the Sierra upgrade but no one else seems to have the same problem I do

I am running the current versions of node and npm:
$ node -v
v0.10.26
$ npm -v

I am having the same issues with the request package as well.
I am the owner of the folder and all the files int contains.
Does anyone know what is going on?
The issue may be the permissions on the .npm directory in the home directory. I belatedly found this post:
NPM cannot install dependencies - Attempt to unlock something which hasn't been locked
Unfortunately until I get into work tomorrow I have no way to confirm this.
