Trying to understand which version of IIS I have in my system. It is version 6.2 or 8.5 ?
This contains a table of all versions of IIS.
Source: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/224609
Internet Information Service(Version 8.5.XXX)
so the IIS version is 8.5
It means that IIS version is 8.5.9600.16384 and 6.2 is your Windows version.
Because it is Windows 8. The version is 6.2. If windows 7, version will be 6.1.
A FAR easier way to tell what version of IIS you are running:
Get-WindowsFeature -name "Web-Mgmt-Console"|select *

I am trying to run my application on Windows 2008 server and i am getting the same error "This application is only supported on Windows 7,Windows Server 2008 R2, or higher".
Can someone suggest on how to fix this.
Please try to install the Node 4.x LTS version. The current LTS version is 8.12.0.
You can check this link to get supported NodeJS version https://nodejs.org/en/download/releases/
Take note that ES6 will not work in there.
I had the same problem, I followed the link https://nodejs.org/en/download/releases/
and installed Version 8x.
So far works well. If some have a higher version which is works, please share.
Which is the latest version of TortoiseSVN is compatible with Windows XP service pack 3?
I just installed its latest build 1.9.3 but unfortunately it's not supported in windows XP.
1.8.12 is the latest release in branch 1.8, 1.8.10 was released because 1.8.9
BUG: Fails to run on Windows XP.
and, btw, 1.8.11 had a lot of important bugfixes (contrary to minor corrections in 1.8.12)
TSVN 1.8.x are the latest versions that support Windows XP, because Subversion 1.9 removed XP support. So get the latest version 1.8.9 from sourceforge.
You have to download v 1.7

On my server UBUNTU SERVER 12.04 LTS, I installed JBoss EAP 5.1, and everything is working perfectly. Now I need to install JBOSS ESB, JBPM and JBoss Web Services. These 3 packages (except perhaps JBoss Web Services) are contained in JBoss SOA-P 5.2.
Given that JBoss SOA-P also contains JBoss EAP, how do I proceed? Is there a way to install individual packages missing, or can I install SOA-P on EAP? How?
If you have SOA-P 5.2 then I would just install and use that. EAP is included in the SOA-P and everything else you need, i.e. web services etc. should be in the jboss tools (I get them from the nightlies update site aka jboss soa tools). What is your end goal? Do you have a specific project or set of projects that are EAP specific?

I have genuine Windows 7 Home Basic on my Dell laptop. However IIS isn't getting installed here.
Is it something this version of Windows 7 can support?
If yes, please let me know how can I get this installed on my OS?
I think IIS Express should work. New version of IIS for development that just shipped with MVC3.

We are planning to uninstall and reinstall IIS 6.0 on Windows 2003 Server. Do I have to recreate the Virtual Directories after I reinstall IIS or will it be available?
I did look up this article but it does not specify anything about the virtual directories. Any pointers/suggestions would be very helpful.
