I've searched and tried several possible solutions.
I begin with:
http:// example.com/ 729/start-page.asp?cid=4004
http:// example.com/ 729/start-page.asp?cid=7916
and trying for:
http:// example.com/ johns-start-page
http:// example.com/ judys-start-page
or if possible:
http:// johns-start-page.example.com/
http:// judys-start-page.example.com/
so far I've got:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^cID=4004$
RewriteRule ^729\.asp$ /johns-start-page [NC,R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^cID=7916$
RewriteRule ^729\.asp$ /judys-start-page [NC,R=301,L]
As long as you're hardcoding these things, you can try:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} \ /+729/start-page.asp\?cid=4004($|\ |\&)
RewriteRule ^ /johns-start-page? [L,R=301]
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} \ /+729/start-page.asp\?cid=7916($|\ |\&)
RewriteRule ^ /judys-start-page? [L,R=301]
RewriteRule ^johns-start-page$ /729/start-page.asp?cid=4004 [L,QSA]
RewriteRule ^judys-start-page$ /729/start-page.asp?cid=7916 [L,QSA]
For the subdomains, you're going to need to make sure you have DNS setup to point those subdomains to the same IP address. Then something like:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^johns-start-page\.example\.com$ [NC]
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} \ /+729/start-page.asp\?cid=4004($|\ |\&)
RewriteRule ^ http://johns-start-page.example.com/? [L,R=301]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^judys-start-page\.example\.com$ [NC]
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} \ /+729/start-page.asp\?cid=7916($|\ |\&)
RewriteRule ^ http://judys-start-page.example.com/? [L,R=301]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^johns-start-page\.example\.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^$ /729/start-page.asp?cid=4004 [L,QSA]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^judys-start-page\.example\.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^$ /729/start-page.asp?cid=7916 [L,QSA]
But all your links could break unless you've set them up to include a FQDN.

Im trying to redirect several urls with 3 parameters to different static urls with .htaccess but nothing working.
1.
http://olddomain.com/index.php?id_category=28&controller=category&id_lang=2
to
https://newdomain.com/page1/
http://olddomain.com/index.php?id_category=30&controller=category&id_lang=2
to
https://newdomain.com/page2/
http://olddomain.com/index.php
to
https://newdomain.com
I tried the below code but http://olddomain.com/index.php not going to https://newdomain.com :
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^olddomain.com [NC,OR]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.olddomain.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://newdomain.com/$1 [L,R=301,NC]
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^id_category=28&controller=category&id_lang=2$
RewriteRule ^index.php$ https://newdomain.com/page1/? [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^id_category=30&controller=category&id_lang=2$
RewriteRule ^index.php$ https://newdomain.com/page2/? [R=301,L]
You need to have specific longer matches first and then have rules to remove index.php or domain redirect:
RewriteEngine On
# specific redirects with index.php as optional match
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^id_category=28&controller=category&id_lang=2$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(index\.php)?$ https://newdomain.com/page1/? [R=301,L,NC]
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^id_category=30&controller=category&id_lang=2$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(index\.php)?$ https://newdomain.com/page2/? [R=301,L,NC]
# remove index.php and redirect to newdmain
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(?:www\.)?olddomain\.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(?:index\.php/?)?(.*)$ https://newdomain.com/$1 [L,R=301,NC,NE]
Make sure to clear your browser cache before testing this change.
In case you are taking page's id from id_lang= variable then please try following rules. Please make sure to clear your browser cache before testing your URLs.
RewriteEngine ON
##Rules to redirect to link: https://newdomain.com/page1/ here.
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(?:www\.)?olddomain\.com$ [NC]
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} \s/index\.php\?id_category=28&controller=category&id_lang=(\d+)\s [NC]
RewriteRule ^ https://newdomain.com/page%1/? [NE,R=301,L]
##Rules to redirect https://newdomain.com/ here.
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(?:www\.)?olddomain\.com$ [NC]
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} \s/index\.php\s [NC]
RewriteRule ^ https://newdomain.com [NE,R=301,L]
I have this code in my .htaccess file which does as the comments say:
Options +FollowSymLinks -MultiViews
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
Options -Indexes
# redirect all traffic to correct domain
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^itl\.|^(www\.)?(integratelecom|integra|integratelecommunications)\b [NC]
RewriteRule ^ https://www.example.net%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301,NE]
# redirect admin./ssladmin. sub domain to the correct folder
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} (admin|ssladmin)\.itl\.uk\.net$ [NC]
RewriteRule !^admin/system/ admin/system%{REQUEST_URI} [L,NC]
# redirect subdomain.X to subdomain.example.net
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(?!www\.)([^.]+)\.(?!itl\.)[^.]+\. [NC]
RewriteRule ^ https://%1.example.net%{REQUEST_URI} [L,NE,R=302]
# map subdomains to correct folder
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(?!www\.)([^.]+)\.example\.net$ [NC]
RewriteRule !^subdomains/ subdomains/%1%{REQUEST_URI} [L,NC]
RewriteRule ^(subdomains/|admin/|index\.php$) - [L,NC]
# stop external linking to website but allow listed domains below
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^$
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http(s)?://(www\.)?google.co.uk [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http(s)?://(www\.)?google.com [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http(s)?://(.*\.)?itl.uk.net [NC]
#RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http(s)?://(www\.|admin\.|ssladmin\.)?example.net [NC]
RewriteRule \.(jpg|jpeg|png|gif)$ – [NC,F,L]
#######################################
############## MAIN SITE ##############
#######################################
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(blog)/(post|tags|category)/([\w-]+)/?$ index.php?id=$1&type=$2&unique=$3 [QSA,NC,L]
RewriteRule ^(blog)/(archives)/([0-9]{4})/([0-9]{2})?$ index.php?id=$1&type=$2&year=$3&month=$4 [QSA,NC,L]
RewriteRule ^(support/knowledgebase)/(article|category|search)/([\w-]+)?$ index.php?id=$1&type=$2&unique=$3 [QSA,NC,L]
RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9-/_]+)/?$ index.php?id=$1 [L,QSA]
All of the above is working fine, but i need to force every domain and subdomain to use HTTPS, I have tried adding in:
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off %HTTP_HOST [NC]
RewriteRule ^ https://%1.domain.net%{REQUEST_URI} [L,NE,R=302]
But that keeps returning an Internal Server Error
I also tried these two lines, but that adds %25 to the end of the URL
#RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
#RewriteRule (.*) https://%{SERVER_NAME}/%$1 [R,L]
To force HTTPs you can use:
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
RewriteRule ^.*$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R,L]
It basically says, if HTTPs is not equal to ON, then it will force the website to display using SSL.
Make sure you clear your cache before testing this.
I would like to redirect this url:
http://www.domena.pl/?tekst,123.html
to this
http://www.domena.pl/tekst,123.html
I just want to remove ? after first /, so I would like to redirect every url domena/?...... to domena/......
I was using this htaccess and it works for domena/testtekst,123, but I don't know how I should change it to work with special character ?
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.domena.pl$
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/test(.*)$
RewriteRule ^test(.*)$ http://www.domena.pl/$1 [L,R=301]
This does not work:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.domena.pl$
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/?(.*)$
RewriteRule ^?(.*)$ http://www.domena.pl/$1 [L,R=301]
and this doesn't work too:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.domena.pl$
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/\?(.*)$
RewriteRule ^\?(.*)$ http://www.domena.pl/$1 [L,R=301]
You can use:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[A-Z]{3,}\s/+\?([^\s&]+) [NC]
RewriteRule ^ /%1? [R=302,L,NE]
I provided this .htaccess:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.lebmotors.com/new/
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.lebmotors.com/new/$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9_-]+)$ moreprod.php?id=$1
RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9_-]+)/$ moreprod.php?id=$1
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9_-]+)/([0-9]+)$ moreprod.php?id=$1&topid=$2
RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9_-]+)/([0-9]+)/$ moreprod.php?id=$1&topid=$2
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9_-]+)/([0-9]+)$ moreprod.php?id=$1&topid=$2&catid=$3
RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9_-]+)/([0-9]+)/$ moreprod.php?id=$1&topid=$2&catid=$3
Still it does not work
I get: http://www.lebmotors.com/new/moreprod.php?id=107&topid=4&catid=8
What AM I doing wrong
Many Thanks
First of all, you don't need to repeat RewriteEngine On directive.
Then, when you add your rules, you still can access your pages via moreprod.php (but you can also access it from new clean url).
Here's how your htaccess should look like, assuming moreprod.php is also in new folder
Options -MultiViews
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /new/
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} /moreprod\.php\?id=([^&\s]+)\s [NC]
RewriteRule . moreprod/%1/? [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} /moreprod\.php\?id=([^&\s]+)&topid=([^&\s]+)\s [NC]
RewriteRule . moreprod/%1/%2/? [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} /moreprod\.php\?id=([^&\s]+)&topid=([^&\s]+)&catid=([^&\s]+)\s [NC]
RewriteRule . moreprod/%1/%2/%3/? [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} /morenews\.php\?id=([^&\s]+)\s [NC]
RewriteRule . morenews/%1/? [R=301,L]
RewriteRule ^morenews/([^/]+)/$ morenews.php?id=$1 [L]
RewriteRule ^moreprod/([^/]+)/$ moreprod.php?id=$1 [L]
RewriteRule ^moreprod/([^/]+)/([^/]+)/$ moreprod.php?id=$1&topid=$2 [L]
RewriteRule ^moreprod/([^/]+)/([^/]+)/([^/]+)/$ moreprod.php?id=$1&topid=$2&catid=$3 [L]
With this code, if you try (for example) to reach http://domain.com/new/moreprod.php?id=123&topid=456&catid=789 then you'll redirect to http://domain.com/new/moreprod/123/456/789/
Conclusion
You can now access your pages via clean urls like
http://domain.com/new/moreprod/123/ (id=123)
http://domain.com/new/moreprod/123/456/ (id=123 and topid=456)
http://domain.com/new/moreprod/123/456/789/ (id=123 and topid=456 and catid=789)
Resolved, just moved these lines to the bottom of .htaccess
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /new/
....
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} /moreprod\.php\?id=([^&\s]+)\s [NC]
RewriteRule . moreprod/%1/? [R=301,L]
.....
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} /moreprod\.php\?id=([^&\s]+)&topid=([^&\s]+)&catid=([^&\s]+)&cagid=([^&\s]+)\s [NC]
RewriteRule . moreprod/%1/%2/%3/%4/? [R=301,L]
RewriteRule ^moreprod/([^/]+)/$ moreprod.php?id=$1 [L]
.....
RewriteRule ^moreprod/([^/]+)/([^/]+)/([^/]+)/([^/]+)/$ moreprod.php?id=$1&topid=$2&catid=$3&cagid=$4 [L]
# THIS TO THE BOTTOM
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[A-Z]{3,}\s([^.]+)\.php [NC]
RewriteRule ^ %1 [R,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}.php -f
RewriteRule ^(.*?)/?$ $1.php [L]
I have the following problem:
http://www.mydomain.com/articles.php?artid=89
should become: http://www.mydomain.com/mykeyword
I dont mind if the id remain in the url...like: http://www.mydomain.com/89/mykeyword
I have the following .htaccess for the moment:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(mydomain\.com)$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.%1/$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[A-Z]{3,}\s/+news\.php [NC]
RewriteRule ^ mykeyword [R=301,L]
RewriteRule ^mykeyword/?$ news.php [L,NC]
The above part works like a charm.
Any help will be deeply appreciated.
Regards, Zoran
Append these rule at the bottom of your .htaccess:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /turkexpo/
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(webone\.gr)$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.%1/turkexpo/$1 [R=302,L]
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[A-Z]{3,}\s/+turkexpo/news\.php [NC]
RewriteRule ^ mykeyword [R=302,L]
RewriteRule ^mykeyword/?$ news.php [L,NC]
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[A-Z]{3,}\s/+turkexpo/articles\.php\?artid=([0-9]+) [NC]
RewriteRule ^ %1/mykeyword? [R=302,L]
RewriteRule ^([0-9]+)/mykeyword/?$ articles.php?artid=$1 [L,NC,QSA]
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[A-Z]{3,}\s/+turkexpo/companies\.php\?fairid=([0-9]+)&ehallid=([0-9]+) [NC]
RewriteRule ^ companies/%1/%2? [R=302,L]
RewriteRule ^companies/([0-9]+)/([0-9]+)/?$ companies.php?fairid=$1&ehallid=$2 [L,NC,QSA]
This will forward a URI of /89/mykeyword to /articles.php?artid=89 and externally redirect the opposite of it.
Once you make sure it is working change R=302 to R=301.
