I install NodeJS plugin for Netbeans 8 (node.js for Windows installed before).
I see only tab "Node.js" in Other options with only 2 parameters: default run command and default kill command. No other parameters. No project type "Node.js". Almost nothing.
nb\var\log\messages doesn't contain error for NodeJS plugin.
What's wrong?
The problem reproduced for NodeJS plugin 2.2 included into Netbeans update center.
But NodeJS plugin 2.28 downloaded from Tim Boudreau's NetBeans Update Center works well.
Please do not use internal Netbeans' list of modules at least for NodeJS

I am trying to install Shopware 6 with vagrant but at terminal it gives this error, any solution please.
You seem to use a recent version of Shopware which requires PHP7.4, but your CLI is still running on an older PHP Version - PHP 7.2
I'm running PyCharm 3.0 commercial and I'm trying to install the Node.js plugin (which is supposed to work with PyCharm). I've followed the several different directions to install the plugin but after I successfully install the plugin and restart PyCharm nothing appears next to the help button (as the install instructions say they should happen) and nothing referencing Node appears in Settings -> Javascript.
I am using the commercial version so that isn't the problem.
I'm using the newest version so that shouldn't be a problem.
I'm on MacOSX 10.8
NodeJS icon was removed from the toolbar in PyCharm 3.0 as NodeJS isn't a primary instrument for Python developers. It only about visual presentation. Node.js settings can be found in Settings | JavaScript | Node.js.
I just package my JavaFX app using the provided tool. But when I try to run it using java -jar app.jar I get a message asking me to install a newer Java version. I'm using 6u33 withfx 2.2beta` in development environment and is running fine. So, my question is, what is the required config to run under Java 6?
Here is my package command:
\javafx-sdk2.2.0-beta\bin\javafxpackager.exe -createjar -appClass gui.principal.FrmPrincipal -classpath lib\jfxrt.jar;lib\antlr-2.7.7.jar;lib\dom4j-1.6.1.jar;lib\hibernate-commons-annotations-4.0.1.Final.jar;lib\hibernate-core-4.1.4.Final.jar -srcdir classes -outdir dist -outfile Etransporte.jar -V
Thanks!
Well, a couple of hours later I downloaded the final version of JavaFX SDK and installed it over my Java 6u33 SDK and everything worked fine since then. So, upgrade is the rule.
No need to use the beta sdk, use the production sdk. The beta sdk may have unresolved bugs and is not suitable for packaging applications for general deployment.
Just some general info, I think you probably have most of this covered already, but something might be useful.
Here is a sample batch script for packaging a javafx application with javafxpackager.exe. Offhand the command you are running looks fine.
Ensure that the java system and javafx installation on your test machine are both the same bit architectures (e.g. 32bit or 64bit). Also jre6+javafx2.2 is only supported on Windows machines, not Linux or Mac.
Note that if your client machine only has jre 6 installed and not the JavaFX runtime, then it is expected when you run your packaged app on that system that it will provide some prompt and help to allow the user to install the JavaFX runtime on the client.
Also note, that not all versions of jre6 are supported by JavaFX 2.2, it must be a recent version of jre6 (2.2 requires Java SE 6 Update 33). It does seem that you are running the right minimum version.
I've been trying for the past 5 hours to make my java ME application to compile without any luck.
System:
W7 64X
NetBeans 7.0
Java JDK 32X
Error Message:
Execution failed with error code 1.
I've done the following things trying to fix it.
Added runMidlet to DEP.
turned off my anti-virus/firewall.
reinstalled and rebooted 5 times prolly.
and something I found on google.
Please edit <javamesdk_installdir>\toolkit-lib\modules\bootstrap\conf\system.properties and reconfigure the device-manager.object-registry.host=localhost to: device-manager.object-registry.host=127.0.0.1
And one other thing that can be the causes for this issue is the Port 1299 might be taken
Please edit <javamesdk_installdir>\toolkit-lib\modules\bootstrap\conf\system.properties and change
device-manager.object-registry.port=1299 to: device-manager.object-registry.port=1999
the only thing that has changed since I started is that now I get the error after 10 sec and before it was after 24sec.
Any kind of help is appreciated!
mine solved by installing standalone Java ME SDK http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javame/javamobile/download/sdk/index.html then in the netbeans go to Tools > Java Platform then remove default J2ME Platform, next click Add Platforms and locate your new Java ME SDK.
if that still failed try uninstall Java ME Plugin in Tools > Plugins > Installed then install Mobility in Available Plugins Tab
I do not know how you added JME SDK 3, but check bellow my setup
I have Fedora 11 (x86 64) installed with Eclipse. I need a Maven plugin, preferrably m2eclipse, but I cannot find out how to install it. I've tried going through yum, but to no avail (I can't even find any maven plugins).
On my other laptop, I've tried installing the plugin using yum on a 32 bit install of Fedora 11, and while the package shows as being installed, I still don't see it in Eclipse. I've even tried starting eclipse with the clean flag.
Could anyone provide me with help? I've got maven 2.0.4 installed. Thanks in advance!
I was able to install the core components of the m2eclipse plugin after I first installed the ganymede packages from their update site:
http://download.eclipse.org/releases/ganymede/
Apparently "Fedora Eclipse" is not a flavor of the ganymede build.
Use the following update site: http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/update/
It's typically under Help -> Software Updates… and then you can add a new update site. Use the one above and you should have the option to install the plugin.
Goto Eclipse->Help->Install New Software...
Add the following update site in Eclipse
http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e
and enable the repository for your release of eclipse under "Available Software Sites" as well (which is disabled in Fedora by default).
Afterwards the installation in Eclipse should work without any missing dependencies.
I was hitting the same problem; evlipse installs it but the plugin isn't visible in the list nor are any of the features it should offer (such as a maven import wizard).
java 6, ubuntu, eclipse downloaded from the official site.
I removed ~/.eclipse/org.eclipse.platform_3.5.0_1020258342
Started eclipse again
added the EMF update site
added the IAM site
installed eclipse IAM core, said no to resarting the workspace, quit eclipse
started eclipse
and its working.
