I have a requirement to show users previous search history.
As far as I understand, GSA does not have this feature. Please correct me If i am wrong.
Please let me know if you have an apporach to implement this on GSA?
Please help.
Thanks,
Mohan.
You are correct. You can achieve this either using the browsers local storage (ok if your users aren't mobile), otherwise you'll need to build this functionality yourself.
If you're building something yourself, take a look at the the click protocol or how the Google Analytics integration works for an example of how to track query data.

I'd like to automatize some processes that are not yet available through API(Google Classroom), like posting comments on announcements, seeing private comments on my work and so on. I have trouble accessing my account. I'd like the app to be able to run on a server. I'm currently working with node.js, but if there is an easier approach I'll gladly accept it (free if it's possible). Can you give me an example of how it's done because currently, I am struggling to find every button that needs to be clicked on?
Unfortunately, there are no methods right now to accomplish that. You can leave a feature request on Google Issue Tracker describing what methods you would like to use. Google engineers will study your case and, if applicable, they will develop the requested methods.
You could use something like Selenium with your language of choice (Javascript in this case) to automate the browser clicks.
This is however, not the best of ideas... To make Selenium log into your account you will need to hardcode your password somewhere.
Google services use Oauth for authentication, take a look at the Classroom API Getting-started for instructions on how to work with Google Classroom API.
I have been working with Facebook API and there documentation is awesome. Now i need to use the Instagram API and there documentation is not developer friendly, I want to use the Direct message functionality using Instagram API and i am unable to find that how to do it? as i can't see it in there documentation and I have been doing research for hours but unable to find any best possible resource.
I don't even know that are they providing the "Direct message" functionality or not? After my all research i have come to know about "Instagram Private API" which provides direct messaging functionality but i don't know that are they officially using there API's for messaging. I am sure they are using a Hack for that but i don't know that for how much time hack lasts long.
Any One who can guide me would be great.
I appreciate for your time and consideration.
Please do let me know about your concerns on this.
Thanks in advance!
A Bit Late To Answer (Aug, 2022)
I have successfully cracked it by myself, after doing a lot of research on google over this topic. You can use the mentioned deep link to open Instagram Direct with some text to share from your application,
instagram://sharesheet?text={AnyTextOrLinkToShare}
Moreover, the below code should work on iOS to launch Instagram Direct (Messenger) from your app with some content
if let url = URL(string: "instagram://sharesheet?text=https://google.com/") {
UIApplication.shared.open(url, options: [:], completionHandler: nil)
}
Not sure, why did they hide this information from their official documentation but now who cares, I have achieved it with the continuous efforts of 16-18 hrs! :)
Has anyone has done Eventbrite integration with an Expression Engine site? We'd like to set up events with Eventbrite and have them handle all ticket management. But we'd like to be able to display the events within the Expression Engine site and then enable users to click on the link to be redirected to Eventbrite. I've viewed the API and it looks like we can create custom EE pages with the API.
More importantly I'd like to let users search for events from our main site.
Has anyone done this type of work and have any hints or resources?
Thanks.
Todd Perkins got started on a module for this some time ago, but there hasn't been any action on it since then. Could be a good starting point for you though.

Eventbrite has a great PHP-based API client library that should be able cover all of your API interaction needs.
These PHP examples might be useful as well:

Please let #EventbriteAPI know if you make any major progress on this project. I'm sure they would love to add an Expression Engine integration to their open source projects list and application showcase!
Google Docs have a feature "Web Clipboard" to help users easily copy and paste cross google documents. (you can refer to https://drive.googleblog.com/2010/02/a-web-clipboard-for-google-docs.html)
But I am wondering that if there's any Web API or official way to access those API.
I try to find in Google Document List APi (https://developers.google.com/google-apps/documents-list/), I can't find any related stuff.
The original goal for me is I want to copy some screenshot/images/text from my Windows OS.
And I want to paste into my GoogleDoc Document.
But it can't be done unless the screenshot/image/text is update/upload into Web Clipboard.
I keep finding any related integrated tools or extension, but I still can't find anyone.
Could someone give me some suggestions?
There is no official way to access this API, sorry.
There is clearly an API of sorts, just not documented. I'd suggest looking at extensions like this one and trying to reverse-engineer the protocol so you can see what endpoints it is calling.
But it sounds like a lot of work.
Hi
I'm looking for a tool (free/paid) like a program that help me in reviewing my website style and interface such as explain the content of the home page (footer, header ..... ) taking snapshots and write comment on them ... I know this can be done using (print screen) and the MS paint but I need a more professional tool to use .
thank you in advance
I'm not sure if I understand well, but conceptshare may be the tool you looking for.
There's a firefox extension called Screengrab that can capture an entire page. You could add annotations to that quite easily in a DTP tool.
I'm not sure about the type of review you're looking for.
If you want to have people using the website and giving you their feedback in terms of navigation, layout, design and content, you can use a www.usertesting.com services.
They'll enroll users to test out the website and them give you a URl to review a video/audio recording of each user test. It's a great way to validate your website.
Hope this is what you were looking for...
