TFS Build Hangs When Agent Working Directory Is Set To "$(SystemDrive)" - windows-server-2008-r2

Our TFS 2013 Server is running on Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 on Oracle Virtual Box 4.3.
I set the "Working Directory:" of the Build Agent to "$SystemDrive" as shown below. After that any build from client machine is getting hanged for ever.
Also, the VM Image is getting corrupted. Machine state can be made stable only after restoring it to a recent snapshot.
The problem is straightly reproducible in our environment. Any solution is appreciated.

Fix application deploy error on AzureDevops

I have created release in Azure Devops, which should be deplyoing my web application to IIS which is on a physical server (Windows Server 2008) but firstly I am getting a warning:
##[Warning 1]
The operating system the agent is running on is "Windows Server" (OS name: 2008, OS version: 7601), which will not be supported by the .NET 6 based v3 agent. Please upgrade the operating system of this host to ensure compatibility with the v3 agent. See https://aka.ms/azdo-pipeline-agent-version
Then I am getting a error:
I have created an Agent on my server, and until today I was not getting this error. How could I fix this?
Windows Server 2008 reached end of life years ago, so no modern tool is going to support it any more.
You might feel lucky that things were running, but that luck finally ran out. You have to upgrade your machine to a supported Windows version.

Migrating onlyoffice community server in Windows

We have installed a Onlyoffice Community Server in our company on a Windows system.
We need to migrate all these data to another Windows server (version 2012). If I go to settings I don't see the option of Data Management to do the backup and restore.
I am getting the results for migrating community server between Windows and Linux servers, but nothing for Windows and Windows.
Please help us with this issue.
You can use the first part of the instruction for migration community server between Windows and Linux servers. You need to copy folders and create your database dump file. Then restore dump file and folders on the new server.

VFP App gets This app can't run on your PC running Terminal Services on Windows 2012

I've got a VFP 9 SP2 app that is running on a Windows 2012 server via Terminal Services.
Sporadically the users will get the message "This app can't run on your PC".
Any idea what causes this? This is a 32-bit app running on a 64-bit server. We've tried setting the shortcut to run in compatibility mode for WinXP SP3 and it still has this problem.
Usually rebooting the server will fix this, but surely there has to be a configuration solution?

SQL Server 2012 "SQL Browser" Service

As a preface, I have done some checking around on this issue but found nothing that solves my question. This question was the closest I found but the answer did not resolve my issue.
Information about configuration: My local machine is Windows 7 with Visual Studio 2012 Update 3 and SSDT-BI installed. On the server machine I have SQL Server 2012 Developer Edition installed on Windows Server 2012 Standard. The data is coming from a third party database installed on a CentOS5 server.
I am trying to deploy a cube to my Analysis Services server, but I am getting the following error: "A connection cannot be made to redirector. Ensure that 'SQL Browser' service is running."
I have checked and the SQL Browser service is running both on my local machine and the server machine. As well, rather than connecting via < Server Name >\< Instance Name > I have tried connecting with IPAddress:Port.
I'm not sure if this is relevant, but in case it is: the database I am using to define the cube I'm trying to deploy is on a different server and has different authentication than my SQL Server 2012 Instance. Moving the data to the SQL Server is not an option.
To FrankPl: just to chime in, you answered my question a few hours ago which is essentially the same problem: VS2012 Pro with SSDT-BI installed, also Update-3 and the Aug.2013 update to AS. We're unable to connect and/or open a project.

Can I Install SQL server 2000 Evaluation copy on Windows 7?

When install SQL Server 2000 (Evaluation copy) on Windows 7 32 bit Home Premium desktop computer,
system gives the following error and Installation not successful:
InstallShield Engine has stopped
working A problem caused the program
to stop working correctly. Windows
will close the program and notify you
if a solution is available.
Sql server 2000 is not supported on Windows 7. You might be able to get it installed but you would have problems.
According to this blog posting you even need SP3 of Sql Server 2005 for it to work on Win7.
