Azure DefaultCredentials with IntelliJ not working because no AuthMethodDetails.json is written

I am trying to use Default Azure credential to connect to a Service Bus Queue from my Spring Boot application (Kotlin) and have trouble getting the setup to work locally with the IntelliJ plugin.
I am trying to connect to a Service Bus queue to send a message, if I use a connection string it works fine but I would like to handle access with the default credentials.
val predictionRequestsClient = ServiceBusClientBuilder()
.credential(topicModelingProperties.namespace, credential)
.sender()
.queueName(topicModelingProperties.predictionQueue.requests)
.buildClient()
I've tried using the IntellijCredentials directly:
val credential = IntelliJCredentialBuilder()
.keePassDatabasePath("<MY PATH TO PWD STORAGE>")
.build()
or the default credentials (long term goal):
val credential = DefaultAzureCredentialBuilder()
.intelliJKeePassDatabasePath("<MY PATH TO PWD STORAGE>")
.build()
I did install the Azure Toolkit plugin in IntelliJ, logged in in my IDE, the plugin tells me even so in this screenshot:
Nevertheless when I try to send something to the queue I get the following error using the IntelliJCredentials:

Which basically tells me IntelliJ Authentication not available. Please log in with Azure Tools for IntelliJ plugin in the IDE, but in the IDE I am logged in.
After googling and debugging a bit it seems I am missing the AuthMethodDetails.json file, that should be written by the plugin - it does not exist on my machine.
I have tried to log in with OAuth 2.0 and the Device Login already but none of the options were writing the AuthMethodDetails / making the connection work.
TLDR;
Do I need the AuthMethodDetails.json for the Intellij plugin to work?
What could be a reason for it not being written for me and how can I get it written?

Spark JobServer NullPointerException

I'm trying to start a spark jobserver, here are the steps I'm following:
I configure the local.sh based on the template.
Then I run ./bin/server_deploy.sh and it finishes without any error.
Configure local.conf.
Run ./bin/server_start.sh in the deploy server.
But when I do the last step I get the following error:
Error: Exception thrown by the agent : java.lang.NullPointerException
Note: I'm using spark 1.4.1. I'm using version 0.5.2 from jobserver (https://github.com/spark-jobserver/spark-jobserver/tree/v0.5.2)
Any idea in how I can fix this (or at least debug it).
Thanks
The error log does not provide much information.
I encountered the same error. For my case, I had another instance of the JobServer running (and somehow ./bin/server_stop.sh did not catch it). It works after I manually killed the other process.
Hint : Error: Exception thrown by the agent : java.lang.NullPointerException when starting Java application

Groovy Compilation error :Unrecognized Windows Sockets error

Environment :
Jenkins Server (Linux)
Senkins slave agent (Windows )
Build :Gradle
Project : EasyB ,Selenium,Groovy
I am getting a compilation error while trying to compile my easyB + selenium project.
We use gradle to manage the project.
The projects compiles fine on local desktop, but fails when we try to compile it via a Jenkins job - using a windows slave agent, it throws a compilation error.
The error is bit cryptic- java.net.SocketException: Unrecognized Windows Sockets error: 10106: socket
Grails users have reported a similar problem- which they attributed to overuse of a port. But that cant be the case in this situation ?
I wonder if Gradle is trying to download stuff ?
But that also doesn't make too much sense - since the compilation runs fine- if I run it when logged in directly to the windows slave agent machine.

It looks like that error is a WSAEPROVIDERFAILEDINIT error. From the link:
Service provider failed to initialize.
The requested service provider could not be loaded or initialized. This error is returned if either a service provider's DLL could not be loaded (LoadLibrary failed) or the provider's WSPStartup or NSPStartup function failed.
This might be caused by Java being launched by a wrapper, but not receiving all the correct environment variables:
A quick search over at Sun's Java site (for "10106") turned up this thread: "java.net.SocketException: Unrecognized Windows Sockets error: 10106: create" at http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp...hreadID=329241
The thread seems to suggest that your environment variable for "system root" might be incorrect, and that it needs to be reset. Or, as an alternative, you can set/select "Append Environment to Native Environment"
(Note, that link is dead, this one works though: Unrecognized Windows Sockets error: 10106: create)
So, I guess look into seeing how Jenkins is being launched.
