Remote monitoring Azure Products - azure

I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to monitor Azure products (HDInsight, SQL Storage, etc) via API (or SDK or CLI), but from the documentation I can't figure it out.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Is this even possible? Is there some documentation or tutorial somewhere that can help me understand how to do it?

Check out .NET nuget packages for Azure Management, specifically Azure Monitoring http://www.nuget.org/packages/Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Management.Monitoring/
Here's an example on how to talk to this library:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/cie/archive/2014/02/20/how-to-use-windows-azure-monitoring-services-management-library-to-create-an-autoscale-rule.aspx
(although for auto-scaling rules, not monitoring, but connection is similar).

how to deploy multiple .net core application in single linux based azure app service

I want to deploy multiple .net core API application in single linux based azure app service. I can't find any documentation for that. Can any one give any suggestion or idea how to achieve that.
I have thing one option but don't know is it possible or not? Can I mount azure blob storage space in configuration/ Path mapping in app service and run application from their? is it possible or any other proper way. Please suggest.
Thank you
It doesn't seem possible.
You can refer to the answer in the post below.
Hosting Two Website Under one Web App - Azure Services
IIS can handler mappings and virtual applications and directories, you can't use virtual applications and directories in linux.
If you have more questions about azure web app, you can raise a support ticket on portal. You can also put forward your ideas and suggestions in the feedback, and optimize the product together with Microsoft official.
Hope this can help you.

Using which Azure API my software can identify if it's running on Azure infrastructure and not elswhere

We are going to create Virtual Machine Image on Azure Marketplace. This VM Image will have our software, which has default feature and advanced feature. We don't want to ship/install software with advanced feature.
We want to write a service using Azure API, which will first check VM created using this Machine Image or software is running on Azure only and not else where before enabling the advanced feature.
I've found answers to similar questions but all were for WebService. I've also gone through API references provided on Docs section but there too I couldn't find any api solving my purpose so raising this question.
Please suggest.
Probably the easiest way would be to attempt the instance metadata service query. You can find more information here:

Monitoring the Azure app services

I was wondering if someone can shed some lights on the application monitoring and alerting solution that's being used to specifically monitor the Azure app service. We have multiple API apps running on App service service and we would like to monitor certain metrics (ex: Availability, response time, number of request received, etc). I enabled the application insight on each of these apps and the result is quite promising, it fulfills all my requirement, but there's one small issue: I need to scroll through each app to see their performance. I can't aggregate them all in one space. I would like to create a centralized dashboard for all aforementioned metrics and have them displayed. I tried using OMS but it seems to be lacking a lot of functionality.
Any pointer would be very appreciated.
I wrote recently about it on our blog: http://predica.pl/blog/azure-monitoring-and-auditing/ - you will find link to MS documentation also there.
If you are using App Insights already you should be able to pick things from App Insights and put it on the Azure portal dashboard. Other than that probably getting data into Power Bi application insight is your best shot - https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-content-pack-application-insights/

Azure DNS: Where is it?

Is there a way on the management GUI to setup Azure DNS like you would setup all their other services?
The only instructions I can seem to find are for doing it on powershell or creating a DNS server
Currently the only way to set up Azure DNS is via Powershell or REST API! There is no GUI frontend. (I imagine it is on the Azure Team's todo list somewhere!
If using a 3rd party tool is an option, may I suggest you take a look at Cloud Portam. In short, it is a browser-based application for managing your Azure resources.
Recently we released Azure DNS management functionality in there. You can learn more about Azure DNS functionality in Cloud Portam here: http://www.cloudportam.com/features/azure-subscription/dns.
Full Disclosure: I am builder behind this tool.

Create virtual machines with Windows Azure php sdk

I am trying to figuring out how to create virtual machines with windows azure php sdk https://github.com/Azure/azure-sdk-for-php , I can't seem to understand on how to do this as there is any mention about virtual machines in the sdk.
Any help will be very apreciated.
Thanks
The Azure-SDK-for-PHP offers Service Management (see https://github.com/Azure/azure-sdk-for-php/blob/master/README.md) to spin up app services or VM’s. I’m not sure if it already includes support for managing Docker containers, but since it’s all REST API in the background, it should not take too much time to write a few lines to have it do the same thing. But for VM’s you can definitely manage them through the SDK.
If you need code samples, ping me. I’d love to share my knowledge.
I think azure-php-sdk is for using azure storage etc. it's not for creating VM.
Normally to create VM throught management portal and Windows azure powershell.
