I am using archlinux and installed gvim and python. THen using vundle in vim, installed the plugin vdebug for vim.
I am debugging a lot of php code for last 1 year using vdebug very successfully. Suddenly from yesterday i get the following errors in vim.
Exact sequence:
I open index.php using vim.
Press F5. In the bottom it shows Waiting for a connection (Ctrl-C to cancel, this message will self-destruct in 20 seconds...)
Then go to my browser and refresh the link: http://www.mylocalsite.com/?XDEBUG_SESSION_START=1
Generally afte this the debugging starts. But since yesterday nothing happens. it keeps showing Waiting for a connection (Ctrl-C to cancel, this message will self-destruct in 20 seconds...) so after some time 40 sec, if i type enter it shows the output1 . Later I again closed the terminal and run all the steps except this time type ctrl + c instead of enter, it shows output2

I found that there is a swap file .Debugger.swp because of which the dedugger is not working. I have deleted that file. it started working
Also any other swp files made by vdebug are also removed.

Gnome-tweaks opens, but... If i change some parameters in gnome-tweaks, it does just nothing! What can I do with it?

I really don't understand what's the problem, because the connection at the database works every time the script is started in both ways.
Is there a fix for this kind of issue?
I found something that might be helpful. There is nice troubleshooting guide and there is a part there, which seems to be related:
If your command works by invoking a runtime like python some-command.py perform a few checks to determine that the runtime
version and environment is correct. Each language runtime has quirks
that can cause unexpected behavior under crontab.
For python you might find that your web app is using a virtual
environment you need to invoke in your crontab.
I haven't seen such error running Firestore API, but this seems to match to your issue.
I found the solution.
The problem occured because the timeout sleep() value was lower than expected, so the database connection function starts too early during boot phase of machine. Increasing this value to 45 or 60 seconds fixed the problem.

I've used pexpect on linux successfully to telnet/ssh into Cisco switches for CLI scrapping. I'm trying to convert this code over to Windows and having some issues since it doesn't support the pxpect.spawn() command.
I read some online documentation and it suggested to use the pexpect.popen_spawn.PopenSpawn command. Can someone please point to me what I'm doing wrong here? I removed all my exception handling to simplify the code. Thanks.

The solution is to use plink.exe, which is a part of putty installation. You can download it from https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/latest.html
Enable TelnetClient on windows system and put plink.exe in the same folder from where you are running pexpect. Then you can telnet using pexpect as mentioned in the below example.
Also, use timeout flag with PopenSpawn to wait for the connection to establish. The above error is due to a timeout flag is not set.

It is likely that you have another server running on the port Ops is trying to start with (default 9000) that is returning data which is not JSON decodable. The solution is to either start MemSQL Ops on a different port, or kill the server running at that port.

I have a rather simple, naive Python/WSGI/Pyramid web-server.
It's run using wsgiref.simple_server.make_server(), on a server built using pyramid.config.Configurator().make_wsgi_app(). This server works fine.
However, the application it's serving has a lot of javascript image mouseover popups. If you run the mouse across the page, it can generate 20+ image requests. This is fine as well (It's an internal thing, not a lot of users).
However, doing so causes the server to emit something like half a dozen error tracebacks:

I understand why I'm getting broken pipe errors (the request for the image is canceled before the image has fully transfered, because the mouseover popup has closed), and it seems harmless.
However, I have no idea how to silence this traceback. There are thousands of them in my logs, and it makes debugging actual errors a nightmare. I don't care that I'm getting broken pipe errors, how can I catch them and swallow them silently?
It seems like wsgiref.simple_server.make_server() installs an internal handler that catches BrokenPipeError: [Errno 32] Broken pipe, prints the traceback, and then swallows the error. I've tried wrapping the run_server() call in a try-except clause, and it doesn't have any effect.
I wound up just switching to using the CherryPy WSGI Server. It doesn't suffer from the broken pipe log issues, and is probably far more robust as well.
It also uses a threadpool, so it's more performant as well (multiple requests aren't blocking!).
I didn't find a straightforward way for achieving this, however, you can always do some monkey patching:
