I am creating a log file by using log4net, i logged the result in the .xml file, every thing is working perfect but i have one issue, i used library class and reference it in the form, in form on button click i called log function in logger file and pass four parameters i get all other records but fail to get the logging properties. i am using the fallowing code to write in the xml file.

I am using rehosted-designer of WF 4.5 to give an interface for the users to create a workflow with custom activities and some of the inbuilt activities of the framework.
I am using AsyncCodeActivity model (perfect fit for my requirement), and hence is bound to execute a workflow as below, i mean execution is triggered at once without the possibility to iterate the activities in the workflow:

I want to retrieve the message of a particular "WriteLine" and show in the trace window as in the order how it appears in the workflow.
I have tried as below on completion, which displays all the "WriteLine" messages appended at the end of the execution:

Instead of appending the characters to the "writer" object and print it to the display window when the workflow is completed (refer the code in my question), i wrote a custom TextWriter to print the message of each "WriteLine" activity when a new line("\r\n") is encountered. example below:

Problem comes when I ask DI to resolve logger, then it always return logger for Customlogger type not the class where I want to use it.

You can do this via a custom dependency resolver.
You first need to create an implementation of ISubDependencyResolver that can resolve dependencies of type ICustomLogger:

For your specific question - in both approaches you never really leave the "scope" of your class. With the first you are creating a new StackTrace and in the other the declaring type of a constructor is that class itself.
But you implemented a constructor that can receive a type so why not use it. Currently your CustomLogger is registered with your default constructor:

Though it is a good idea to create such abstraction between your code and external source in this case I would not do it and I will explain why:
From my experience one doesn't really change the logging framework after the code is up and running. Especially since you are working with a mature and excellent framework - Log4Net. It has many built in abilities and is very adaptable for ones needs: From different formatting of the messaged to outputting the logs to different sources such as databases, files and if I'm not wrong there are also appenders for things like elastic search.
You are using Castle Windsor which has a good integration with Log4Net and has for you a ready made Logging Facility to Log4Net. See this question for how simple it is to add it.
Last point is that if you already write good SOLID code and pass your logger as ILogger to all the components (and not a specific implementation) all they will probably do is call the different Debug/Info/Warn/Error/Fatal methods - which any other mature logging framework will have. So on the day you will have to change (which I think won't happen) you can write an interface that looks like the Log4Net's interface and an implementation that will adapt that to your new logging framework.
Since I have a global exception handler that reports uncaught errors via e-mail, next step is to add some context to it by having some 10-20 last lines of log that are collected.
So I am using MemoryTarget like so:

Your best bet is probably to write your own MemoryTarget... Something like this (untested) should work.

I didn't see anything like you are asking about in either location.
I've installed excel module in order to generate reports from datas recorded by my application into database.
It works fine : i can create report simply by clicking on a link into my main page and render into excel template.
But i'd rather generate excel file periodically (using a job) and save it into a shared folder, and that without any human action (so not by clicking on a link).
It's like I want to trigger the associated controller to render into my template automatically.
Does anyone got any tips on it for me?
So the problem is you can't pass some parameters into the job, or...?

I wrote my own Excel generator using JExcel, and I use it for scheduled generation without a problem. It also doesn't require a template, because the report structure is derived from annotations. This is roughly 20 lines of code - you may want to try it for yourself.

You'll still need to write your own report generator, or refactor the existing excel module to provide what you need.

You can manually trigger a job, do this:

Thing is, Play is stateless, so the job should use data from the database. Instead of trying to pass parameters from your request into the Job (won't work) try to store that data in a staging area in the database that the job loads and processes to generate the excel.
I'm trying to get windows workflows working, and I've become a little stumped.
I've gotten a single workflow working, but now I am trying to do something a little more complex: start a workflow, where each activity itself contains a workflow. (Picture something like the main program starts the activities "Input, logic, and output", and then each of those have additional activities like "prompt user, get input, etc.")
I've had it working fine, with the example from here (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/gg535667.aspx), when I am not passing any parameters from the main program to the activites. My question is, how exactly does the 'Variables' and 'metadata.SetVariablesCollection' work in the NativeActivity, and how to I get the parameters to the low level activities?

You're correctly declaring stringArg as an InArgument but you're not passing any value to it when calling it inside SimpleSequence.
You can pass something using the constructor, while constructing the all activity itself, like this:
