What happened to GNUHAWK? - redhawksdr

I'm new to REDHAWK and I noticed that with REDHAWK 1.10 that GNUHAWK seems to be all but gone. Does anyone know any information about what happened to the it. It looks like it could be a really useful tool. And if it's only available on older versions I could you point me to a guide I haven't been able to find an installation guide for 1.9 either...

You can clone GNUHAWK from here and add it to your system: https://github.com/RedhawkSDR/integration-gnuhawk

The REDHAWK 1.9 distribution includes RPMs for GnuHawk. You can install them as you would any other RPM file. To find the RPM you need, go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/redhawksdr/files/redhawk/ and drill down for REDAWK 1.9.0 and your desired platform.
You may also want to check out the build instructions here: https://github.com/RedhawkSDR/integration-gnuhawk/tree/develop-1.9

How downgrade gcc in debian linux?

i'm learning linux kunnel programming. however, i faced problem that gcc version is too high to execute 2.4kunnel "make" command(make bzImage), I try to find solution. but in debian case solution does not exist, just for ubuntu, centOs ect... please help me Or, link that about my problem.
P.S ) What i want version of gcc is 3.3 version, it doesn't work use command apt-get install gcc-3.3
Why would you learn based on 2.4?
Your question is wrong anyway. You will likely need other old tools. The way to go is to download an entire debian system and chroot inside. This can be achieved with debootstrap.
However, as noted earlier, you should not stick to 2.4 in the first place.

What is POSTGIS_VERSION 2.1.7+dfsg-3~94.git954a8d0.pgdg80+1?

I can understand 2.1.7 but what is +dfsg-3~94.git954a8d0.pgdg80+1 coming after that ?
I am now build postgis docker container from appropriate/docker-postgis
and am getting error
E: Version '2.1.7+dfsg-3~94.git954a8d0.pgdg80+1' for 'postgresql-9.3-postgis-2.1' was not found
E: Version '2.1.7+dfsg-3~94.git954a8d0.pgdg80+1' for 'postgis' was not found
seems to be a problem of package management?
How could I find fix this? How could I find all "subversions" +dfsg-3~94.git954a8d0.pgdg80+1.
thx
Sometimes using only version number 2.1.7 is not enough, as there are different OS, architectures (or even git branches as you can see), so developers append these specifics to the version to avoid confusion. If you used:
apt-get update postgresq-2.1.7
It would not make sense (or it would and would give you default option), because for this product version-number is not good enough for Docker to set up your environment.
dfsg = Debian Free Software Guidelines (specifies it is for specific version of Debian system, not for redHat for example)
git - version/branch specified
pgdg80 = PostgreSQL packages and backports for Debian/Ubuntu

adding Doxygen plugin to qtcreator in linux

I want to add Doxygen plugin to QtCreator.
I am using QtCreator 2.5.2 in ubuntu 12.10 and the latest Doxygen version for QT is 2.4.0.
I've changed the doxygen.pluginspec file to get rid of version error.
But now I've got another error:
can not load library libdoxygen.so (libQtconcurrent.so can not open shared object file:No such file or directory)
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
I hope you are no longer stuck, but if not, I will still try to help.
Yes, the quick install binaries are available only for QtCreator 2.4, but the plugin stays easy to install without it : you have to download the sources and build them yourself, as written in the wiki.
Moreover, you have to build it with the same version of Qt4 as the one that was used for build your QtCreator (have a look here)
It became compatible with QtCreator 2.7 and Qt5 at the end of March, and I succeeded in installing in in QtCreator2.8-beta.
If you have any other question, I guess it would be better to ask them in the plugin forum where developpers always answer to people in need.
Hope this helps (you and other people in need).
You can install Doxywizard wich provides an user interface to use Doxygen.
I'm not shure I'm using fedora to install I used.
yum install doxygen-doxywizard.x86_64.
For Ubuntu it should be if the package name is the same.
apt-get install doxygen-doxywizard.x86_64
(as root)

z3 previous version library

I am using z3-osx-4.1-x64 running on the max os, currently I need it to run under the linux system. I tried to download the linux version http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/um/redmond/projects/z3/ , but it seems that there is no linux version.
Could you please tell me where I can download it?
Thank you very much.
You should get the source from their current site and follow the instructions in their README file.
You can simply append z3-4.1.tar.gz to http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/um/redmond/projects/z3/ to download Z3 4.1 binaries for Linux.
A more complete list of old versions could be found in Previous version of Z3 for linux.
For newest versions, it is recommended to download the master branch, compile and install on your Linux system.

Ubuntu to install jdk1.6

I was trying to install jdk1.6 onto my Ubuntu 10.04.
However, It looks like jdk1.6 is no longer available in Ubuntu repository(at least, i havent found it yet).
In my case, I need to install jdk1.6 as my java version instead of openjdk.
Could anyone tell me if it still could be found in anywhere?
Thanks.
I suggest installing it manually. Use the following link and use update-alternatives. The instructions are for 1.7 but they work for 1.6. Just get it from sun's site.
https://askubuntu.com/questions/55848/how-do-i-install-oracle-java-jdk-7
You can download JDK from java.sun.com and install it yourself. The reason its not included because it needs you to accept their license agreement.
HTH.
