Liferay Theme - Updating the main.js file - liferay

In liferay, I created a new theme and working on to move all my js code to main.js file.
Every time I make any change in the main.js file and build the code, the main.js file is reverted back to the original version.
I fruitlessly searched about this on liferay docs for some time, i'd appreciate if anyone can point me a direction.

Keep your main.js file under _diffs folder of your theme project.
It seems you have kept js file under docroot/js which always gets overwritten on deployment.

I'm using tailwindCSS for a simple html site but deployment on netlify does not work, why?

I've been learning how to use tailwind css by following the offical video tutorial and I just wanted to try to deploy the site example to Netlify to see if it works using the drag and drop feature.
This means taking the entire project folder and dumping it into netlify. This usually works with vanilla html css js sites but for some reason I get the error
Page Not Found Looks like you've followed a broken link or entered a URL that doesn't exist on this site.
This is how the project structured looked like:
What am I doing wrong? Inside the build folder there is another file called tailwind.css
On your Netlify dashboard, change the publish directory to the directory where your index.html file resides: public/. That should do it.
You can also, as you said, take everything out of the public folder and put it at the same level as the other folder and files, which makes the index.html available at the root of the project. However, then you lose your project's file organization.
I've fixed the problem.
The trick was to take everything out of the public folder and put it at the same level as the other folder and files.
This would make the index.html file available at the root of the project and would allow the site to work properly once deployed.

deleted css files are accessing and web application is running those files

I made a static folder where I saved all css files to be used in my flask web development project. It is not reflecting the changes while I was doing some change .When I deleted that static folder then also it is accesing the files.
I have not clue from where it is accessing..
Please solve this problem
Thanks in advance
gallery.css file is not present:-
but accessing this file:-
try going to your project directory (not in your IDE, but the folder where the project is located)
find any/all directories named
__pycache__
and delete them.
clear all browser cache.
rerun the app in your IDE

How do I edit files with Web IDE in Bluemix DevOps?

My ultimate goal is to simply edit the package.json file to add the momentjs library so I can access it my node red app running in bluemix, but my question is even more fundamental.
My setup:
I have a bluemix nodejs app running a simple node red app I created. I want to use the moment.js library to do some date math and understand I need to update the dependencies file in the package.json file.
Question:
When I go to my Bluemix console runtime screen for node.js I can see the package.json file and can click on it to see the contents, but can't edit. I have tried creating projects/Git and can't see this file. I can use CLI using CF and get to the file and view it but again I just don't know how to edit it.
I would really like to understand how I can see these files and edit/source code control them using the Web IDE and just can't figure it out. I do fundamentally understand source code control just don't understand how to set this all so I can specifically see this file.
Main goal is simply to update the package.json file in the app directory.
In your Bluemix Dashboard, click on your APP and in the APP Overview you will see ADD GIT BUTTON(top right corner).
Click on it and once you've added your project to GIT, you will get a GIT URL.
Go to that URL and click on EDIT CODE( you can update your package.json) and then commit the changes.

Meteor initial files

I created a new Meteor project in WebStorm and it generated hello.html file which is the default page of the app, and hello.js file.
Now the thing is that I don't want these files to be named "Hello". How can I change the default/initial files of Meteor?
I searched references for these files in the project but I didn't find anyone, meaning that they are not defined hard coded.
Any help will be profoundly appreciated!
Edit: I just found out that I can name the initial file when I create a new Meteor project in WebStorm. I'd rather change it in the current project than creating a new one though. Is this possible?
if you create new project in command line then running meteor create appName will generate files appName.js, appName.html and appName.css
in general, it does not matter what are the file names in meteor. Naming starts to matter a bit more once you start organising files into folders, but for a start you can ignore that.

VS2015 missing Auto-sync wwwroot/lib/ _references.js entries

So I am trying to connect up my Jasmine unit tests in a VS2015 web project with the resharper test runner and thought I would use the Auto-generate _references.js file to save me having to type the references in each test spec. The Auto-synced _references.js file doesn't however include any javascript dependencies from the wwwroot/lib folder. Bower is definitely copying them to that folder correctly, but the synchronization is ignoring that directory. I thought the references generation might scan the web project looking for .js files to reference but it seems to have missed a swathe of them.
According to Mads Kristensen:
Whenever a .js file is added, renamed, moved or deleted, the _references.js file is automatically updated to reflect the changes.
This doesn't seem to be happening with .js files in wwwroot/lib. Is this on purpose? Do I have to turn auto-sync off and do it manually?
