I am trying to draw a Rectangle Label with a text in it every tick.. I want a text to fit exactly in to a Rectangle_Label.. As a text i am using Label.. But cant get it to work exactly.. It is not correctly situated..
In Fact i would like to create a class that would do it all in one... Just like a rectangle with text in it that would be always having same co ordinance and size etc..
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
bool createRectangleLabel(long chart_ID,string name,string labelName,int shift,double price,string text,double xSize,double ySize,double xOffSet,double yOffSet,double xDistance,double yDistance)
{
if(ObjectCreate(chart_ID,labelName,OBJ_RECTANGLE_LABEL,0,TimeCurrent()-shift,price))
{
Print(xDistance+" "+yDistance);
ObjectSetInteger(chart_ID,labelName,OBJPROP_BGCOLOR,clrBlack);
ObjectSetInteger(chart_ID,labelName,OBJPROP_XDISTANCE,xDistance);
ObjectSetInteger(chart_ID,labelName,OBJPROP_YDISTANCE,yDistance);
ObjectSetInteger(chart_ID,labelName,OBJPROP_YSIZE,ySize);
ObjectSetInteger(chart_ID,labelName,OBJPROP_XSIZE,xSize);
ObjectSetString(chart_ID,labelName,OBJPROP_TEXT,text);
ObjectSetInteger(chart_ID,name,OBJPROP_ANCHOR,ANCHOR_CENTER);
return true;
}
else
{
Print("createRectangleLabel return error code: ",GetLastError());
Print("+--------------------------------------------------------------+");
return false;
}
}
bool createLineText(long chart_ID,string name,string labelName,int shift,double price,string text)
{
int xDistance=0;
int yDistance=0;
int xSize,xOffSet;
int ySize,yOffSet;
bool i=ChartTimePriceToXY(chart_ID,0,TimeCurrent(),price,xDistance,yDistance);
if(ObjectCreate(chart_ID,name,OBJ_LABEL,0,TimeCurrent()-shift,price))
{
ObjectSetInteger(chart_ID,name,OBJPROP_BGCOLOR,clrWhite);
ObjectSetInteger(chart_ID,name,OBJPROP_XDISTANCE,xDistance);
ObjectSetInteger(chart_ID,name,OBJPROP_YDISTANCE,yDistance);
ObjectSetString(chart_ID,name,OBJPROP_TEXT,text);
ObjectSetInteger(chart_ID,name,OBJPROP_ANCHOR,ANCHOR_CENTER);
ObjectSetInteger(chart_ID,name,OBJPROP_COLOR,clrWhite);
ObjectSetInteger(chart_ID,name,OBJPROP_FONTSIZE,10);
xSize = ObjectGet(name,OBJPROP_XSIZE);
ySize = ObjectGet(name,OBJPROP_YSIZE);
xOffSet = ObjectGet(name,OBJPROP_XOFFSET);
yOffSet = ObjectGet(name,OBJPROP_YOFFSET);
TextGetSize(name,xSize,ySize);
createRectangleLabel(chart_ID,name,labelName,shift,price,text,xSize,ySize,xOffSet,yOffSet,xDistance,yDistance);
return true;
}
else
{
Print("createLineText return error code: ",GetLastError());
Print("+--------------------------------------------------------------+");
return false;
}
}
You cannot call ObjectCreate() every tick - it would return an error 4200.
If you check the object exists before creating, that would help. Alternative approach would be to try to create the object and assign it with some necessary properties (e.g., color of the object, anchor etc) in one block, and move it in another.
if(ObjectFind(chart_id,labelName)<0){
if(ObjectCreate(chart_ID,labelName,OBJ_RECTANGLE_LABEL,0,TimeCurrent()-shift,price)){
ObjectSetInteger(chart_ID,labelName,OBJPROP_BGCOLOR,clrBlack);//etc.
}
ObjectSetInteger(chart_ID,labelName,OBJPROP_XDISTANCE,xDistance);
ObjectSetInteger(chart_ID,labelName,OBJPROP_YDISTANCE,yDistance);//if you need to move the object or take other steps each tick, e.g. update text - do it here
}
You're thinking along the right lines when you say that you'd like to create a class. Fortunately for you, the standard library already includes all the classes you need to make chart objects. Documentation
Example Indicator:
#property strict
#property indicator_chart_window
#include <ChartObjects\ChartObjectsTxtControls.mqh>
class MyRectLabel : public CChartObjectRectLabel
{
CChartObjectLabel m_label;
public:
bool Create(long chart, const string name, const int window,
const int X, const int Y, const int sizeX, const int sizeY)
{
if(!CChartObjectRectLabel::Create(chart,name,window,X,Y,sizeX,sizeY))
return false;
return m_label.Create(chart, name + "_", window, X + 8, Y + 12);
}
bool Color(const color clr){
return m_label.Color(clr);
}
bool Description(const string text){
return m_label.Description(text);
}
bool FontSize(const int size){
return m_label.FontSize(size);
}
bool ToolTip(const string text){
return (this.ToolTip(text) && m_label.Tooltip(text));
}
};
//+------------------------------------------------------------------+
MyRectLabel rect_label;
//+------------------------------------------------------------------+
int OnInit()
{
if(!rect_label.Create(0, "rlabel", 0, 5, 25, 100, 50)
|| !rect_label.BackColor(clrWhiteSmoke)
|| !rect_label.Description("LABEL!")
|| !rect_label.Tooltip("I am a rectangle label")
|| !rect_label.Color(clrBlack)
|| !rect_label.FontSize(18)
)
return INIT_FAILED;
return INIT_SUCCEEDED;
}
//+------------------------------------------------------------------+
int start()
{
static double last_price = 0.;
rect_label.Description(DoubleToString(Bid, _Digits));
if(Bid > last_price)
rect_label.Color(clrLimeGreen);
else
rect_label.Color(clrRed);
last_price = Bid;
return 0;
}
I have a table in project :
Now I want to make some of rows colored, so I tried
SetTextBkColor(RGB(122,0,122))
The previous line is in the following context:
BOOL SickLeaveViewPreviousTab::OnInitDialog()
{
BOOL result = CDialog::OnInitDialog();
setHighlighted();
listCtrl.InsertColumn(0,"Name",LVCFMT_CENTER,80);
listCtrl.InsertColumn(1,"Surname",LVCFMT_CENTER,120);
listCtrl.ShowGrid();
for (int x=0;x<_previous->length();++x)
{
shared_ptr<SickLeave> sickLeave = _previous->get(x);
listCtrl.InsertItem(x,_patient->getName().c_str());
listCtrl.SetItemText(x,1,_patient->getSurname().c_str());
listCtrl.SetTextBkColor(RGB(122,0,122));
}
UpdateLayout();
ReleaseResources();
return result;
}
But the color of the rows doesn't change. How can I solve the problem?
P.S. Yeah, there is a mistake in "desease"...
The answer to your question is on https://stackoverflow.com/a/19701300/383779
Derive a made-by-you class from CMFCListCtrl which in turn is derived from CListCtrl. Then override the method OnGetCellBkColor the way want.
COLORREF CMyColorfulListCtrl::OnGetCellBkColor(int nRow,int nColumn)
{
if (nRow == THE_ROW_IM_INTERESTED_IN)
{
return WHATEVER_COLOR_I_NEED;
}
return CMFCListCtrl::OnGetCellBkColor(nRow, nColumn);
}
I wrote custom click method which uses mouse click and clickcenter methods. I rarely calls 'ClickCenter' method so i used the hard coded value as in the script below and code works fine but want to avoid hard coding. Any help?
public void Click<T>(UITestControl window, params string[] propertyvalues) where T : HtmlControl
{
HtmlControl genericControl = (T)Activator.CreateInstance(typeof(T), new object[] { window });
if (propertyvalues.Length == 2)
{
genericControl.SearchProperties.Add(propertyvalues);
if (propertyvalues[1] == "Account Status...")
{
ClickCenter(genericControl);
return;
}
}
else
for (int i = 0; i < propertyvalues.Length; i = i + 2)
{
genericControl.SearchProperties.Add(propertyvalues[i], propertyvalues[i + 1]);
}
Mouse.Click(genericControl);
}
Consider using BoundingRectangle property of UITestControl. You don't need to pass the control to Mouse.Click(); You can just pass absolute coordinates of control's center point, which you can calculate from BoundingRectangle:
public static Point Center(this Rectangle rectangle) {
return new Point(rectangle.Left + rectangle.Width / 2, rectangle.Top + rectangle.Height / 2);
}
I've seen variations of my questions on stack overflow but haven't had any answers that have worked for me. I'm trying to convert an image I retrieve via UIImagePickerController to an NSData object. In the debugger after I call AsJPEG the NSData object has text that appears as...
System.Exception: Could not initialize an instance of the type 'MonoTouch.Foundation.NSString': the native 'initWithDa…
(note the debugger cuts off the string)
My code is fairly straight forward (taken form samples on stack overflow)
protected void Handle_FinishedPickingMedia (object sender, UIImagePickerMediaPickedEventArgs e) {
// determine what was selected, video or image
bool isImage = false;
switch(e.Info[UIImagePickerController.MediaType].ToString()) {
case "public.image":
Console.WriteLine("Image selected");
isImage = true;
break;
case "public.video":
Console.WriteLine("Video selected");
break;
}
string path = Environment.GetFolderPath (Environment.SpecialFolder.MyDocuments);
path = Path.Combine (path, "media");
if (!Directory.Exists (path))
Directory.CreateDirectory (path);
path = Path.Combine (path, Path.GetRandomFileName ());
// get common info (shared between images and video)
NSUrl referenceURL = e.Info[new NSString("UIImagePickerControllerReferenceUrl")] as NSUrl;
if (referenceURL != null)
Console.WriteLine("Url:"+referenceURL.ToString ());
// if it was an image, get the other image info
if(isImage) {
// get the original image
UIImage originalImage = e.Info[UIImagePickerController.OriginalImage] as UIImage;
if(originalImage != null) {
// do something with the image
Console.WriteLine ("got the original image");
using (NSData imageData = originalImage.AsJPEG(0.75f)) {
byte[] dataBytes = new byte[imageData.Length];
System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.Copy(imageData.Bytes, dataBytes, 0, Convert.ToInt32(imageData.Length));
File.WriteAllBytes (path, dataBytes);
}
}
} else { // if it's a video
// get video url
NSUrl mediaURL = e.Info[UIImagePickerController.MediaURL] as NSUrl;
if(mediaURL != null) {
// ...
}
}
// dismiss the picker
NavigationController.DismissViewController (true, null);
}
I've seen other posts that suggested it was the size of the UIImage, so I've experimented with cropping it. Same result. I've also tried AsPNG, same result. I even tried scaling down the image to 1/4 it's original size and still get the error.
I think the key is the mention of NSString, which tells me something's fishy... as the native C call used in Xcode doesn't involve an NSString, so I think something else is going on.
Any suggestions?
As noted in the comment from therealjohn, this appears to be an error with the debugger when it converts a value to a string to display it in the debugger window it seems to run into an error. The NSData object is actually fine.
I've just upgraded my project from cocos2d 1.0.1 to 2.0 and after a lot of tweaking and all, I'm unable to change the default color of a CCLabelTTF like I did before (And this way I avoid one line of code for each label I create). Before, I was doing like that :
In CCLabelTTF.m :
- (id) initWithString:(NSString*)str dimensions:(CGSize)dimensions alignment:(CCTextAlignment)alignment lineBreakMode:(CCLineBreakMode)lineBreakMode fontName:(NSString*)name fontSize:(CGFloat)size
{
if( (self=[super init]) ) {
dimensions_ = CGSizeMake( dimensions.width * CC_CONTENT_SCALE_FACTOR(), dimensions.height * CC_CONTENT_SCALE_FACTOR() );
alignment_ = alignment;
fontName_ = [name retain];
fontSize_ = size * CC_CONTENT_SCALE_FACTOR();
lineBreakMode_ = lineBreakMode;
color_ = ccBLACK;
[self setString:str];
}
return self;
}
I was changing the color inside this method since every "initWithString..." methods are returning this one, but even if I do so in cocos2D 2.0, it doesn't work.
Here's my new CCLabelTTF.m :
- (id) initWithString:(NSString*)str dimensions:(CGSize)dimensions hAlignment:(CCTextAlignment)alignment vAlignment:(CCVerticalTextAlignment) vertAlignment lineBreakMode:(CCLineBreakMode)lineBreakMode fontName:(NSString*)name fontSize:(CGFloat)size
{
if( (self=[super init]) ) {
// shader program
self.shaderProgram = [[CCShaderCache sharedShaderCache] programForKey:SHADER_PROGRAM];
dimensions_ = dimensions;
hAlignment_ = alignment;
vAlignment_ = vertAlignment;
fontName_ = [name retain];
fontSize_ = size;
lineBreakMode_ = lineBreakMode;
color_ = ccBLACK;
[self setString:str];
}
return self;
}
Is it because of the "ShaderProgram" thingy that wasn't there before 2.0? Please help I've tried everything so far :(
I even searched in all my project if there was a file containing "ccWHITE" or "{255,255,255}" but there's none related to CCLabelTTF (except for CCSprite, but if I change it to ccBLACK, all my sprites becomes black)
Instead of setting the ivar, use the accessor for the property:
self.color = ccBlack;
Also, you should not modify CCLabelTTF. If you want to change behaviour, make a subclass.
