The export wizard link in the waveform overview page does nothing - redhawksdr

I have created a simple waveform with two components in RedHawk v1.9.0 running on CentOS. I am attempting to export it for running outside the IDE and thought I could use the link for Export Wizard in the Exporting section of the Overview page (as described on 19.4.2 of the manual), but when I click on it, I get a whirling circle for as long as the mouse hovers over the link, but no new dialogs come up and if the mouse leaves the link, even that goes away. Why can I not get the export wizard?

Have you tried exporting the Waveform by dragging and dropping it from the projects view window onto the SDRROOT in the SCA Explorer window? This installs the waveform into SDRROOT (also works for components, devices, etc.), which is the same thing that the export wizard does.
Unfortunately I don't know what the problem with the wizard itself is, but hopefully this will provide a work around.

This seems to be fixed in RedHawk v1.10. So I do not need any additional help.

Displaying a Classification Banner at the top of each computer monitor in Gnome Desktop

I work in an environment where we have to have a security classification banner displayed at the top of each monitor on our Gnome Desktops. Currently, I am using a Perl/Tk window to display the classification of the system. However, that window cannot be moved because of the way it is built (no decorations) and occasionally overlays open windows making it difficult for users to manage those windows.
I would like to be able to do something different, but I'm not sure where to start. Three ideas I have are this:
An icon or something in the Top Bar showing the classification
A banner, like the Top Bar, that sits above the Top Bar
A window, like I already have, but relocatable
I figure the first option would be easiest, but since the Top Bar isn't shown on every monitor, that may not be the best option. I don't even know if the second option is even possible. The third option would require me to use something other than Perl/Tk but that's the only language I'm fluent in at the moment.
So I'm looking for suggestions or examples or Gnome extensions I can use to solve this problem.
Thanks.
There is a classification-banner python utility at https://github.com/fcaviggia/classification-banner. It's no longer maintained, but we've been using it without change for a few years now. It's OK. One problem is that it doesn't "shrink" the desktop screen, so application windows can overlap it; it's set to Always On Top, but it would be nicer if it actually couldn't be overlaid at all.
A simple solution, of sorts, would be to change the desktop background image. This can have issues if you're displaying on multiple resolutions (I don't know if Gnome supports SVG for such purposes) and of course it can be obscured by windows covering it.
Older versions of Gnome let you create multiple bars that worked perfectly, but that disappeared - along with many other customizations - in Gnome 3.

How do I reset my Visual Basic Editor Layout?

Something has gone terribly wrong with my VBE layout. I originally closed my Project explorer and was trying to figure out how to restore it when I made some changes under the window tab of the ribbon.
I've restored the Project explorer but I can't for the life of me reset my code window to display only the current module I'm working on. The resulting layout is hideous, truly atrocious, and difficult to work with.
disgusting VBE display
I've already tried resetting my registry key for VBA as recommended here to no avail. I believe I clicked on either Cascade or Tile Vertically to make the code block appear this way.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You've never hit 'Restore Down' before on the Windows controls? Click it again (it will now be called Maximise) to put things right.
Click the square box of any of the windows in the upper right corner for it to fill the window, and then you can navigate using the project folder structure to the left, or the Window menu at top. Windows can be dragged and "docked" at different positions. For step by step instructions on how to dock windows in the VBE, including video see this site, for example
Try setting the code windows in your layout to how you like them. Then add a module to your project, then exit Access. It seems to save the layout at that point.
You can then delete the empty module.

Hide "Quick Access" pushpin icons in Windows 10 navpane?

So, I'm trying to create a minimal navigation pane in Windows Explorer on Windows 10. Under the Quick Access menu, I have pinned some favorites and frequently accessed folders/shortcuts. I believe that it'd look neater -cleaner-, to not have the little gray push pins icons to the right of the pinned folders and shortcuts. I mean, hello, I pinned them, of course they're pinned, I know it. I guess I was hoping there was some regedit mod I could change right quick to hide all push pins in the navigation pane. Does anyone know of anything like that? Google doesn't seem to....
Hide Push Pins
I realize you asked this several months ago, but here's your answer. It's a bit hack-y and involves 3rd party software, but it works perfectly.
Download Customizer God
Create a transparent .png (assuming you have Photoshop/GIMP/Affinity Photo)
Convert the .png to .ico
Open Customizer God. Select "General Icons"
Find the Quick Access pin icon by scrolling down a bit.
Hit "Change" and select your .ico

Matlab linux GUI glitches

I've been having this problem with the Matlab GUI (linux) that has been annoying me for over a year but I still haven't found a solution.
Basically, the autofix hints are not displayed. When I move the mouse cursor over a potential warning/suggestion, a gray-background pop-up appears but the text inside is missing. The same happens when I hover over those little warning bars on the right hand side of the editor. Does anyone have any clue what might be causing this?

This happens only on my linux machine (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, NVidia GeForce with nvidia driver).
Thanks!
For those interested, this issue appears to be related to the Unity Desktop. Mathworks does not provide a fix but suggests using a different XServer instead. Here is the answer I received from support:
This issue is known to occur due to a windowing system used with
"linux" on which MATLAB has not been tested. It has been observed that
if you are using "Unity desktop" in "linux", then the tooltips are
displayed as blanks.
To work around this issue, you may try switching off "Unity desktop".
You can refer to the following links for more information on this
issue:
http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/116987-empty-tooltips-in-code-analyzer
matlab code analyzer produces empty tooltips
Indeed, I tried lubuntu and XUbuntu (Xfce) and the tooltips in Matlab were working in both cases. I find Unity very handy because I got used to it, so for now, I will probably simply not use this Matlab feature. Hopefully this will be fixed eventually.
It's an old post but some people may be still looking for a solution or a hack. Well, I also had this issue on R2015a when using two monitors and hiding Ubuntu 14.04 sidebar seems to do the trick. This link explains how to do it: http://www.howtogeek.com/198218/how-to-easily-hide-the-unity-launcher-in-ubuntu-14.04/. Hope it helps!
This is accomplished, in the article, by:-
1) Select “System Settings” from the drop-down menu.
2) The “System Settings” dialog box displays. In the “Personal”
section, click “Appearance.”
3) On the “Appearance” screen, click the “Behavior” tab.
4) On the right side of the “Behavior” tab, there’s an ON/OFF switch.
Click the switch so it reads ON.
5) The ON/OFF switch also turns orange. Additional options for how to
show the hidden Unity Launcher become available in the “Auto-hide the
Launcher” section of the “Behavior” tab. Under “Reveal location,”
select whether you want to move the mouse to any location on the “Left
side” or just to the “Top left corner” of the screen to reveal the
Unity Launcher. Use the “Reveal sensitivity” slider to change the
sensitivity of the reveal location.
6) Once you have chosen your settings, close the “Settings” dialog box
by clicking the “X” button in the upper-left corner of the dialog box.
This happens to me in Ubuntu 15.10 using xfce, with two monitors connected to an Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT, one of which is rotated to portrait orientation. The "workaround", from the page Anton linked, is to resize my matlab desktop such that the red underlined text or red scrollbar annotation is in the bottom third of my left monitor. Unbelievable.
My preferred workaround is to use Python+Scipy+Matplotlib instead of Matlab.

Browser Window Gone in Latest Xcode?

Has the browser window been removed from the latest version of Xcode? I've seen this window in an iOS class I watched online and again in a book I have. I can't find anything in the View menu to turn it on.
I'm running Lion and the latest version of Xcode. I created a new project with Core Data turned on and then built it. I then clicked on .xcdatamodeld file and I get a graphic window with the default table in it.
Do you mean the project browser on the left? You enable that using the 'view' buttons on the right side of the toolbar.
The toolbar might be hidden though, so go to the view menu and select "Show toolbar" if needed.
Then select the fourth button from the right on the toolbar, it is the first button in the set of view buttons. This shows the Navigator View on the left of your screen, which has 7 selectors on the top. The leftmost will give you the project browser (project navigator), the one next to it is the symbol navigator.
I hate to be answering my own question again. I like to keep my answer rate at 100%. Since I didn't get a response here, I tried the Apple developer forums. It turn out the Xcode 4.* changed the interface and this series of windows no longer exist. The same functions can be found in other locations.
