If the application has no chance to get debug information, it will not create more details about the crash instead of the data above in your post. If you want to know what could be the reason in detail, Windows event viewer has a chance to give it.
German: Ereignisprotokoll
You can scroll to the application which causes the fault and see some more details.
Additional, if it is possible, you can install WinDbg or any other debugger tool for free on the computer. This debugger can catch the error with additional details.
*** update ***
Check out dependencies with depends.exe. The explained error ´CLR20r3 Locale ID: 1033` just tells, that no exception information is available. That can occur if not all needed dependencies are on computer.

I've have the same problem. Try to copy, with your exe file, all the others referenced assembly (dll) on the deployment machine or in the installation kit.

Just install the SAP Crystal Reports Runtime engine and it will start working. I have done the same thing and my application start working.

Yes I tried multiple options didnot worked,
So finally recreated VM and now working but the issue is application stops working after reboot, So decided not to reboot system till I find some good solution.

node.js Setup Wizard ended prematurely in windows 10 64bit

For the last 3 days I have been trying to figure out how to install node.js. I tried every solution that I found on the internet, like disabling certain components during installation, installing both x86 and x64 etc, none of them worked.
My OS is Windows 10 x64. I tried different versions of node.js and they all return the same error shown in the screenshot below.
I tried installing through the command line and got the log. But I could not find anything useful from the log either. Please help.
The log can be found here: this path : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1OkkK36hlQeBX0xTNuOuilGaNr1u3S55e
MSI (s) (74:88) [20:49:45:955]: Executing op: ActionStart(Name=RegisterEventManifest,,)
MSI (s) (74:88) [20:49:45:961]: Executing op: CustomActionSchedule(Action=RegisterEventManifest,ActionType=3073,Source=BinaryData,Target=CAQuietExec,CustomActionData="wevtutil.exe" im "C:\Program Files\nodejs\node_etw_provider.man")
MSI (s) (74:A0) [20:49:45:969]: Invoking remote custom action. DLL: C:\WINDOWS\Installer\MSI33C1.tmp, Entrypoint: CAQuietExec
CAQuietExec: Error 0xc0000409: Command line returned an error.
This is the relevant part of the log and where the install keels over, noise removed. 0xc0000409 is very, very nasty. STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN is a stack corruption error, triggered by code that protects against viral attacks.
Searching for "nodejs install 0xc0000409" takes you to this bug report, notable from December 2015. This issue has been dogging users for a long time, but they are having trouble finding the root cause. The generic workaround is to disable this install step by disabling the installation of the ETW performance counters.
Which works, but is but a band-aid. I think macario1983's comment points at the real troublemaker. It got a lot of helpful votes in just two days. And points at the kind of viral rootkit that programmer's voluntarily install, the kind that can so easily cause a STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN error with no decent way to identify the code that causes it. Anti-malware has become a cure that is worse than the disease, Avast in particular is a truly awful product and does not belong on a programmer's machine.
So decent advice is to 1: disable the anti-malware product before installing Node. 2: get rid of completely if it is Avast. 3: disable the performance counter registration. 4: try the updated installer, patched 4 days ago.
I disabled the AVG antivirus(version 18.4.3056) but not windows firewall and then i was able to install nodejs.
Possible options to solve this:
1. Removing previous installations traces
If you have previous installations, make sure that they were uninstaled completely. If HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Perflib\_V2Providers\{1e2e15d7-3760-470e-8699-b9db5248edd5} record exist in your register, remove it.
2. Disabling Performance Counters
If you don't need Performance counters feature, try to install without it (or maybe even without Event Tracing).
3. Disabling security and giving the full permissions
Clean Temp Folder
Disable your antivirus/firewall for the period of installation.
C:/users/$user/AppData/Local/Temp- Right Click on Temp and go to Properties > select Security Tab > give the user permissions by checking Full Control on permission
Install Node.js
I had today the same problem with Windows 10 64 bit and Node.js 8.11.2: disabling completly Avast just for the time of the installation solved the issue.
I was trying to install Node.js through node-v8.11.2-x64.exe, but it was rolling back every time at the end. The error in the event log was about wevtutil.exe, version 10.0.17134.1
I had the same issue on a Windows 2012R2 server installing node-v8.11.2-x64, and disabled the McAfee anti-virus to no avail. When I went to clean out the TEMP folder as suggested in this thread, I noticed that several files and folders were locked and could not be deleted, so I rebooted the machine (with the anti-virus disabled). After the reboot, I noticed that the locked temp files had been deleted, and I was able to install node.js, including the Performance Counters and Event Tracking options.
I spent one day for that ....Best solutions is download zip example node-v12.16.2-win-x86.zip.

Node.js installation (windows installer) terminates prematurely on windows 10 64-bit

After going through a windows 10 re-installation due to a windows update crashing my laptop, I was left with re-installing many applications. One of them being node.js. When I tried to install it through the windows installer, I kept getting 'setup wizard ended prematurely because of an error message'. I am not sure what the problem is. I used x64 version which is what my OS is and there is no nodejs folder in program files. When I logged the installation this message popped in a lot of the lines has no eligible binary patches. Before the no eligible lines there were error logs such as:
'WixSchedInternetShortcuts: Error 0x8007000d: failed to add temporary row, dberr: 1, err: Directory_'
'WixSchedInternetShortcuts: Folder 'ApplicationProgramsFolder' already exists in the CreateFolder table; the above error is harmless'
If that is not enough information please advice me on how to send the full logs without spamming huge text in the thread. Thank you.
The MSI log file:
https://gist.github.com/luki2000/ab00476127d54aaf610d8bda84d40a64
Maybe try to search the log for "value 3" as explained by Rob Mensching in his blog. Doing so will find the locations in the log file that describe errors of significance.
Many people use dropbox, gdisk or similar to post logs. Some put it on github (just a sample log for OP, leaving in for reference). Check that last link, is that the same problem you see perhaps? (search for "value 3" as explained above - without the quotes of course). Looks like there is an error creating an Internet shortcut. Perhaps that is a Windows 10 problem? I will take a quick look.
I am betting Bob Arnson knows what this problem is outright. He will probably give us the real answer, see below for my workaround.
The correct thing to do overall, would probably be to communicate the problem back to the Node.js guys so they can fix the problem once and for all.
UPDATE: Maybe see if this answer helps you: node.js installer failing with 'CAQuietExec Failed' and 1603 error code on Windows 7. Essentially un-check Event tracing(ETW) in the setup's feature dialog - or you can try to launch the MSI from an elevated command prompt.
UPDATE: There seem to be two Internet shortcuts configured for this MSI in the WixInternetShortcut table. I would just create a transform to remove these two shortcuts and try a reinstall. If you feel bold and fearless and like to break the law, you can delete the two rows from the table and just save directly to the MSI itself. This is never the right thing to do if you are a deployment specialists. The original MSI is sacred, but if this is for your own system and you need to get something done, that would work. Then you just install the MSI direct afterwards. Otherwise you can install the transform after creating it with a simple command line:
msiexec.exe /i node-v8.11.2-x64.msi TRANSFORMS="C:\MyTransform"
You can create the transform using Orca, InstEd or SuperOrca or any commercial tool that supports creating transforms.
In case you don't know, transforms are little database fragments that are applied to the original MSI (which is also a database under the hood). After the transform is applied the in-memory version of the MSI is the MSI + the changes from the transform.

How do I report a bug in Windows Server Service Bus?

I tried to google. Microsoft Connect doesn't accept bugs for Service Bus. Azure Portal sends to either MS forums or to StackOverflow - so here I am.
The question is really in the title: how do I report a bug with Service Bus?
(not the Azure version, but the one you install on premises)
And here is the issue:
Microsoft.Cloud.ServiceBus.dll has a reference to Microsoft.Cloud.Common.AzureStorage.dll. It uses one type from that assembly - namely, StorageAccountInfo. It's part of a configuration section (namely, NamespacePolicyDataStoreFactorySection.Parameters.BlobStorageAccountInfo), but apparently only makes sense in the Azure environment, and never used in the on-premise scenario.
But here's the catch: Microsoft.Cloud.Common.AzureStorage.dll is not actually shipped with Service Bus 1.1. I tried to find it in various SDKs and Azure toolkits, samples and whatnot (of which I have plenty), as well as online - and found zippo information about that DLL or where to get it. This is the only place I found a mention of it.
Despite being a WTF in itself, the absence of DLL does not really prevent anything from working: the type is not actually touched by any code in the on-premise scenario, so no complaints.
But here's the second catch: mscorlib.dll v4.6.7.0 (which came with VS2015 CTP5) has a slight change compared to the previous version, 4.0.30319.34014, - in System.Attribute.InternalGetCustomAttributes(PropertyInfo,Type,bool), more precisely, this line. That line did not exist in the previous version of mscorlib, and everything was fine. But now it does exist, which leads to the property type being touched, which leads to loading the DLL, which fails, because DLL is not there.
So the whole process starts with loading configuration section NamespacePolicyDataStoreFactorySection and works like this:
ConfigurationManager.GetSection ->
... ->
BaseConfigurationRecord.GetSectionRecursive ->
... ->
BaseConfigurationRecord.CallCreateSection ->
MgmtConfigurationRecord.CreateSection ->
ConfigurationElement.Reset ->
ConfigurationElement.get_Properties ->
ConfigurationElement.PropertiesFromType ->
ConfigurationElement.CreatePropertyBagFromType ->
Attribute.GetCustomAttribute (for property BlobStorageAccountInfo of type StorageAccountInfo) ->
... ->
Attribute.InternalGetCustomAttributes(PropertyInfo) ->
Attributes.GetIndexParameterTypes ->
RuntimePropertyInfo.GetIndexParameters ->
... ->
RuntimeMethodInfo.GetParameters ->
... ->
kaboom! (touches the return type, tries to load DLL containing it, fails)
Some (futile) attempts at a workaround
Remove the configuration section from config. Unfortunately, Service Bus is not very fault tolerant in this respect: fails with NRE when section is not present. It is also impossible to provide an alternative config section "handler", because in the .NET config system "handler" and "data" are the same thing.
Provide a fake DLL with the needed type. Can't do that, because everything is strongly named.
Find the missing DLL somewhere. Tried that and failed. There are no mentions of the DLL on the web, let alone the bits.
A careful reader may ask: whoa, wait a minute! VS2015 CTP5?! Are you saying you installed pre-release software on a working machine?! Well then, of course it doesn't work, what did you expect? That'll teach you to be the early adopter!
And the careful reader would be absolutely correct: totally my fault, I knew potential dangers, I did it anyway, serves me right.
But that's not the point. My installing pre-release software doesn't diminish the WTFness of referencing a DLL, but not shipping it. While I personally will be fine, I just want to make sure this doesn't suddenly stop working when .NET 5 is released and hits Windows Update.
I know it's a late answer to the question and it is actually not the answer to the question asked, but today, after installing VS 2015 RC on a PC with Windows Service Bus 1.1 and restarting the PC, my service bus gateway service stopped working and I went through all the pain described in this question but finally could make a solution out of the fake assembly scenario. Here's the solution:
Created the fake assembly Microsoft.Cloud.Common.AzureStorage.dll with version 2.1.0.0 and signed it with a new key file.
Disassembled it using: ildasm /all /out=azurestorage.il Microsoft.Cloud.Common.AzureStorage.dll
Extracted the public key and public key token from another Microsoft.Cloud.* assembly located in service bus folder by ildasm /Tp Microsoft.Cloud.Common.Diagnostics.dll
Opened azurestorage.il in a text editor and changed the public-key token and public key with the ones extracted in the last step
Reassembled the il file: ilasm /dll azurestorage.il /out=Microsoft.Cloud.Common.AzureStorage.dll
Registered the assembly for signature verification skipping using: sn -Vr Microsoft.Cloud.Common.AzureStorage.dll
Installed the resulting assembly to GAC: gacutil /i Microsoft.Cloud.Common.AzureStorage.dll
and it finally worked. Hope this helps anyone who got stuck in this problem.
As given in this answer by Jafin there is fortunately an official fix from Microsoft release 10/23/2015 that solves the issue with .NET 4.6.
Download here: Update for Service Bus Server 1.1 (KB3086798)
as I understand what you need is reporting a bug to Microsoft, and I found out you need to report a bug to Microsoft. Its good to know microsoft will aapriceate users who report bugs.
According to Microsoft answer you can reporting Microsfot bugs here:https://connect.microsoft.com/
note: You must have an microsoft account, you can make it at hotmail.com
And I know some of microsoft products are not there like outlook.com
First go to https://connect.microsoft.com/ :
STEP BY STEP
i.stack.imgur.com/CewDL.png
Step 1: Write the program what you like to report a bug about it, and then click on join.
i.stack.imgur.com/pJbQY.png
Step 2: Click on continue.
i.stack.imgur.com/cCgXq.png
Step 3: Make up your profile.
i.stack.imgur.com/PVqXi.png

Excel 2013 App Crash - Browser Not Supported

I have an Excel 2013 .xlsm workbook that has multiple tabs. One tab contains an App I created.
On the machine which I created the workbook, everything works perfectly fine. However, when I test on other machines, one of them provides a strange error. If I click on the tab that contains the App, the app starts to load, but there is an error:
APP ERROR:
Sorry, we couldn't load the app because your browser version is not supported. Click here for a list of supported browser versions.
The machine has multiple browsers installed, including Google Chrome and Internet Explorer 10 (version 10.09200.17183); update versions: 10.0.23 (KB3008923).
Crash details are provided below. Has anyone else encountered this before? How do you correct the problem?
Thanks,

Any thoughts?
I'm finding that this may be resolved with the user account profile within Excel. Ensure an account is signed in and may need to create a Microsoft account to access the Apps, even if locally developed.

Dynamic CRM Plugin Registration Tool returns unsecured or incorrectly secured fault

I got an error while trying to register plugin using the plugin registration tool in the SDK. The problem comes out of nowhere since before today I always able to do plugin registration using the tool with ease.
The error message is this:
Unhandled Exception: System.ServiceModel.Security.MessageSecurityException:
An unsecured or incorrectly secured fault was received from the other party.
Inner Exception: System.ServiceModel.FaultException: An error occurred when verifying security for the message.
I've done my searching and already try some steps that commonly suggested which are:
Deleting the LiveDevice.xml file under Users{username}\LiveDeviceID
Deleting the Connections.config file within the Plugin Registration Folder
Reboot the PC
Making sure the discovery url is correct (using: https://disco.crm5.dynamics.com/XRMServices/2011/Discovery.svc)
Download and using the latest SDK.
My environment is Windows 8 64-bit.
However, it didn't resolved my issue.
Is there any steps or things that I've missed or may done wrongly?
Following Guido comments about date & time of PC, I check the Dynamic CRM Online 2011 timezone, turns out it is set to (GMT +8 Krasnoyarsk), since I live in Singapore I changed it into (GMT +8 Singapore, Kuala Lumpur).
It is a long shot since the GMT is the same (+8), but I try it anyway and turns out it fixed the problem, I double check and change it again into Krasnoyarsk and again it's not working.
I'm not sure why this is causing it, since it is the same GMT, but for now I'll settle with this, maybe I'll raise a new topic for this later.
Thanks!
