I try to create automatically registering with Catel framework,
[ServiceLocatorRegistration(typeof(ISalesOrderListViewModel))]
public class SalesOrderListViewModel : ISalesOrderListViewModel
{
}
But i got this error when compile this code.
An attribute argument must be a constant expression, typeof expression or array creation expression of an attribute parameter type
Does Catel ServiceLocatorRegistration attribute need something I don't know?
help!!
Finally I find under net framework 4.5, this attribute works fine, but when I try to run this under net framework 4.0, this attribute doesn't work, which meaning I get compile error.
Mr. Geert, I don't know I should submit this to issue track or you may don't support this under net framework 4.0.

While testing LWC in VSCode using jest script, unable to render custom LWC component, it throws an error- Unknown public property "smalldevicesize" of element . This is likely a typo on the corresponding attribute "smalldevicesize".
Here is the error screenshot
You are using a wrong attribute name smalldevicesize this should be small-device-size
Here is an example:
<lightning-layout-item small-device-size="">
Here is the Lightning Web Component documentation. I hope this should work.
change the attribute to because it supports to kebab notation.
I'm working with Acumatica 5.30.2347. I have following selector in my graph:
var check = PXSelect<POLine,Where<POLine.orderType, Equal<POOrderType.regularOrder>>>
.Select(this);
but when I try to execute it, I receive following error:
Method not found: 'Void PX.Data.PXLineAttribute..ctor'(System.Type).
Initially I've got an impression, that this error message appeared because class PXLineAttribute doesn't have constructor which accepts System.Type, but with help of reflector I've discovered that PXLineAttribute has following declaration:
public PXLineNbrAttribute(System.Type sourceType)
: this(sourceType, false)
{
}
which gives me idea that PXLineNbrAttribute has needed constructor. So I have two questions: Why Acumatica Framework can't find constructor of PXLineNbrAttribute? How to help Acumatica to find before mentioned constructor?
Please check your VS class library project references to Acumatica assemblies. I would suspect them to reference assemblies from a different Acumatica build and therefore cause "Method not found ..." errors at runtime.
We have been building our application using groovy 2.3.6. Now because of some platform level issues we are advised to downgrade our groovy version to 2.2.1. I am facing no. of issues regarding this downgrade.
groovy is not able to infer the type of it variable in ver 2.2.1 so if i have code something like this
names.any { sliceName.endsWith(it) }
it gives me exception
[Static type checking] - Cannot find matching method java.lang.String#endsWith(java.lang.Object)
Secondly all the default method that i had used in collections no longer seem to exist
positions.any { it.primary }
groovy is unable to find the any method on list.
One way would be turn off static type checking, which will expose the code to a lot more runtime errors.
Is there any way to resolve these errors, without turning off static type checking. Also are these features only added in groovy 2.3.6 like default groovy methods and type inference for it variable
If you go back to an old version, old bugs will bite you.
Try giving the static compiler more of a hint
names.any { String it -> sliceName.endsWith(it) }
With a skeleton project with FirstView from HotTuna package, and with Build linker behavior set to "Link all assemblies", I get the following error:
System.MissingMethodException: Default constructor not found for type Cirrious.CrossCore.IoC.MvxPropertyInjector
Using NuGet package v3.1.1 for all MvvmCross (4 packages)
LinkerPleaseInclude file does have the line
[MonoTouch.Foundation.Preserve(AllMembers = true)]
Using the latest stable build:
On PC:
Xamarin for VS 1.12.278
Xamarin.iOS 1.12.278
Mac:
Xamarin.iOS 7.2.2.2
Of course with Linker behavior of SDK only, it runs fine. Any suggestions anyone?
Solved; So, with the basic project, there were three consecutive errors in the following order:
System.MissingMethodException: Default constructor not found for type Cirrious.CrossCore.IoC.MvxPropertyInjector
can be resolved either by --linkskip=Cirrious.Core (ugly), or by including the following in LinkerPleaseInclude.cs
public void Include(MvxPropertyInjector injector){
injector = new MvxPropertyInjector ();
}
Next error is:
Cirrious.CrossCore.Exceptions.MvxException: Failed to construct and initialize ViewModel for type {0} from locator MvxDefaultViewModelLocator - check MvxTrace for more information
This one is difficult; Simple fix is to ofcourse to do a --linkskip=portableLibrary, or to crate an instance of the ViewModel somewhere (perhaps in LinkerPleaseInclude.cs); problem with the second approach at-least in my case is, most of my VM doesn't have a parameter less constructor, and obviously using IOC in this case wouldn't help.
Final Error:
System.ArgumentNullException: missing source event info in MvxWeakEventSubscription
Parameter name: sourceEventInfo
Either use --linkskip=System (ugly), or add the following to LinkerPleaseInclude.cs
public void Include(INotifyPropertyChanged changed)
{
changed.PropertyChanged += (sender, e) => {
var test = e.PropertyName;
};
}
This was enough for my basic project to run with LinkAllAssemblies, Using LLVM optimizer, and Use SGen collector.
Hope this will help anyone looking for a solution.
I hit this when my XCode was out of sync with the latest Xamarin on my Mac. Upgrading XCode to the latest resolved the problem.
I have two classes org.my.ClassA and org.my.ClassB both classes are in the same package org.my in the WEB-INF/src in the same database.
ClassA has the method public add(org.my.ClassB newB){...}.
In SSJS I have a code block in which I call ClassA.add(ClassB) which normally works fine. Until some unknown point where the Server can't see that org.my.ClassB === org.my.ClassB and it returns the error (message translated from German maybe looks different in English version):
error calling method 'add(org.my.ClassB)' in java-class 'ClassA'.
'org.my.ClassB' is incompatible with 'org.my.ClassB'.
and it points to my line in the SSJS: ClassA.add(ClassB);
What I tried so far:
First I added the line importPackage(org.my); to my SSJS Code. No luck.
I tried to add another method add(Object newB) and then cast the object to ClassB but same result. The error does not seem to come from the java class its from the SSJS code because it cant find the method with an argument of the type org.my.ClassB. But if I test the object in the SSJS code it returns org.my.ClassB.
Then I tried to add the classpath to all variables in the SSJS block like: var newB:org.my.ClassB = new org.my.ClassB(). But same result after some time the application breaks with the same error.
From my Point of view it got to do something with the caching of compiled classes, or so because if I clear the database everything works just fine again.
Hope someone has a solution on this.
This is a class loader problem.
You can find more details about the issue in the answer from Frantisek Kossuth:
