Visual Studio 2013 Browser Link not playing well with Firefox - throwing exception - security

Just now I tried Browser Link with Firefox 27.0.1 while debugging a simple ASP.NET MVC app.
I have Visual Studio Ultimate 2013 Update 1.
Here's Browser Link Dashboard:
I tried changing something in a razor view, pressed Ctrl+S and went to the browser to see if the page had changed accordingly but...
this is what i see in Firebug:
http://localhost:6194/85d266397ee64f32b2f4ffdedc974643/arterySignalR/negotiate?requestUrl=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%3A26530%2Fgis&browserName=Firefox&clientProtocol=1.3&_=1394212700505
[13:56:43 GMT-0300] Browser Link:
Exception thrown in callback method pullStyleData:
[Exception... "The operation is insecure." code: "18" nsresult: "0x80530012
(SecurityError)" location: "<unknown>"]
Then I saw this error:
401 Unauthorized 82ms
browserLink (line 37)
"NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://localhost:26530/85d266397ee64f32b2f4ffdedc974643/arterySignalR/ping?requestUrl=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%3A26530%2Fgis&browserName=Firefox&_=1394211620626"
I'm running Visual Studio as Administrator.
What's the deal and how can I solve this?

Turns out it was bug in Visual Studio 2013 Update 1 as Mads Kristensen told me here.
So the solution is to go grab Visual Studio 2013 Update 2 CTP 2.

Error Rendering Control (type initializer PX.Data.PXLicenseObserver threw an exception) on a ListView page in Designer mode

I am trying to overcome this error in Designer Mode of any ASPX page,
for example, CS203100 out-of-box:
I am not sure when the error began, and not sure if this could be related to any recent Windows Update. I am working with AcumaticaERP version 18.1.102.0048 under VS2015 on Windows 10 Enterprise. The error occurs under TargetFramework 4.5.2 and also after updating to 4.7.1. Any help please would be great, thanks!
We ran into the same issue with a colleague and it turns out that Visual Studio was not running with administrative privileges. It looks like PXLicenseObserver tries to create a log file on initialization and it fails when Visual Studio is not running in Administrator mode.

Team Foundation Server script error in vs2012

Visual Studio Online requires IE9 or later. You appear to be using an unsupported browser.

Visual Studio 2015 Preview - Keep IIS Express Running

I'm trying to get a decent development experience with Visual Studio 2015 Preview.
To do that I'd love to have my IIS Express running all the time instead of requiring me to start debugging.
Anyway to do that? Tried command line:
IISExpress.exe /path:pathmyproject/wwwroot
IISExpress.exe /site:SiteName
and
IISExpress.exe /path:pathtomyproject
First two give me:
Unable to locate project.json
Third one
HTTP Error 403.14 - Forbidden
Not exactly an answer, but if you can view in browser instead of Debug.
The command for view in browser is: CTRL+ SHIFT + W (or right click on project and select View -> View in broswer.)
IIS Express will start but will not close when you exit your browser.
Hope this helps, this is what I do (specially now that build/compile is no required with roslyn).
Similar to VS 2013, if you disable Edit and Continue IIS Express will continue to run when you stop your debug sessions.
Open the menu item Tools/Options, look for the Debugging/General option. Scroll down and uncheck "Enable Edit and Continue"
in the Debug menu > Start without debugging (Ctr + F5)
Visual Studio 2015 Update 3 adds the support to keep IIS Express Running
For ASP.NET Web Application projects, when "Enable Edit and Continue" checkbox is unchecked, the IIS Express process will no longer stop working every time you stop debugging.
Visual Studio Update 3 RC Release Notes
"Enable Edit and Continue" checkbox does not exist in visual studio 2015 update 2!this is best solution for this problem
I just unchecked Edit & Continue option under project properties -> Web -> Debugger.
I'm using VS2015. It is working for me.
This problem occurred to me when trying to run a cloned project. The solution that worked to me was installing Microsoft.NET Core 1.0.1 VS 2015 Tooling Preview 2.
Go to Tools --> Extensions and Updates --> click Updates
Look for Microsoft.NET Core 1.0.1 VS 2015 Tooling Preview 2 and install the update if it is available.

Visual Studio 2012 disassembly error dialog

This is a general error with Visual Studio 2012 that has come up recently. While debugging any C++ application and after hitting a break-point, clicking "Go To Disassembly" will produce the following error dialog:
Disassembly cannot be displayed for the source location. Uncaught
exception thrown by method called through Reflection.
I've tried reinstalling and repairing VS2012 with no effect. Even the simplest console application will show the same error, so it's not specific to a project and has to be a problem with the system configuration. At this point I'm just clueless what module Visual Studio is failing to load - google hasn't provided any solutions either.
The only possible link could be my recent removal of older .NET Framework redistributable packages (since I've got .NET 4.5 SDK and multi-target pack, I figured the older ones weren't necessary).
I really need the disassembly view working (it worked quite well before) and I was hoping someone has come across this problem.
Solved: After downloading Visual Studio 2012 Update 2, the problem solved itself. I guess it was a bug with the vanilla release.

Microsoft Document Explorer Displays Error

Microsoft Document Explorer is displaying the following error message on several pages "This webpage might not be displayed properly. The content of the webpage does not match the type specified by the server.". It has been doing this ever since I installed Visual Studio Express for Web 2012. How can I get rid of this warning?
Nevermind! Installing the update for Visual Studio 2012 fixed this problem.
