Why Dashboard Designer In SharePoint 2013 Can Not Load SSAS Database For Create New SSAS Datasource? - sharepoint

I use SharePoint 2013 and SQL Server 2012 SP1 Update 8
I Config Performance Point Service and Excel Service and .... in my Share Point.
When I want create a new SSAS DataSource in Performance Point, List of SSAS Database is empty!
I install SharePoint and SQL Server 2012 SP1 in the same server.
I Can connect to my SSAS in Multidimensional Mode.
:
this is properties of my Multidimensional Database
This Configuration of SSS In SharePoint
This is configuration of Performance Point Service :
And finally when I want create a new Data Source in Dashboard Designer , list of database of ssas is empty?!?
I see this link Cannot create SSAS Data Source in PPS Dashboard Designer and then i verify and install ADOMD in my server and restart my server but until it not work.?!?
Note : I run Power Pivot Service and Excel Services in my Sharepoint and those services work.

I fond my problem and fix it .
This is source of answer : Database doesn't show when creating a data source for Performance Point Dashboard Designer
As Krishna N say :
I fix it with edit Web.config in this path
\Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\15.0\WebServices\PpsMonitoringServer
and in below block :
<runtime>
<assemblyBinding xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1">
<dependentAssembly>
<assemblyIdentity name="Microsoft.AnalysisServices.AdomdClient"
publicKeyToken="89845dcd8080cc91" culture="neutral" />
<bindingRedirect oldVersion="9.0.0.0" newVersion="10.0.0.0" />
</dependentAssembly>
</assemblyBinding>
</runtime>
I change oldVersion="9.0.0.0" newVersion="10.0.0.0" to oldVersion="10.0.0.0" newVersion="11.0.0.0" .

In my case this was the source of the problem:
The PerformancePoint Services Unattended Service Account is not set. The setting is located in "Manage service applications" in SharePoint Central Administration under the PerformancePoint Services management page.

Issue creating custom web app in ms access 2013

We just upgraded our MS Access to 2013 and I'd like to know why I am encountering an error message when trying to create a blank custom web app in access 2013.
ERROR:
"an error occured in the client while attempting to communicate with the server"
I find it very weird as I have tried to export a table on my Access desktop Db and it successfully created a list in sharepoint using the same sharepoint path.
I provided the same sharepoint path when creating the new custom web app, anyone encounters the same issue? Our sharepoint is 2010.
It sounds like you are using an on premise SharePoint setup within your organization, correct? And your SharePoint Server is SharePoint 2010, correct? If that is indeed correct, you can't create or edit Access 2013 web apps on that server. In order to create and edit Access 2013 style web apps, you need several elements: Access 2013, a SharePoint Server running SharePoint 2013 (not 2010), the appropriate licenses for Access Services (the 2013 service that can come bundled with SharePoint 2013), and SQL Server 2012 or higher.
If you are using Office 365 to host your Access web apps, most of the existing plans include Access Services where you can create and edit Access web apps.

How to access a SharePoint 2010 List from a SharePoint 2013 farm

We have a SharePoint 2010 farm and a SharePoint 2013 farm.
In one of the List on the SharePoint 2013 farm, when ever a record is created,
we need to copy it to a list on SharePoint 2010 farm.
Can this be done using the 2013 CSOM? Will the 2013 CSOM be able to connect to 2010 List and manipulate it (CRUD operations)
OR
Should I consider creating a Custom Service Application and expose the data stored in 2013 farm for the 2010 farm to consume it?
Thanks in advance
I'm not sure if client object model from 2013 dll will work on SP2010, but you should definitely be able to save an item using listdata.svc REST calls, and then you shouldn't need any custom service application.
We've done from 2007-->2010 (console app) using scom for 2010. The same code run smoothly when we upgraded 2010->2013. So, I guess you won't have any problems.

Deploying 2012 SSRS Report to Azure SSRS? o365 SharePoint Online options?

I'm looking at the ssrs deployment guide on the Azure site and it says to specify a 2008 r2 target? is ssrs on Azure not 2012? can I deploy 2012 SSRS reports? Also it suggest I download report builder 3.0, do i need that if I plan to install 2012 BI ? Is there even a 2012 BI install for Visual Studio 2012? Ideally I'd like to build and deploy SSRS 2012 reports.
Also, Can SSRS2012 consume SharePoint Online List Sources? Any plans for SP Integrated SSRS in o365/SharePoint 2013 Online?
And finally, we are looking for way to move from SP 2007 On prem, but we have 500 SSRS 2005 reports in SharePoint we need to somehow deliver through SharePoint.. any good shorterm option while MS catches up with this critical integration need? Right now we have SharePoint clients that don't want to go to the Cloud without their SSRS Reports.
thanks.
Regarding SQL 2012 compatibility I can't find anything that explicitly confirms 2012 compatibility, but based on the "Guidelines and Limitations" info Azure SQL Reporting is compatible with SQL Server Data Tools, which are the new version of SQL tools released with SQL Server 2012. That page also contains a link to download Report Builder, which links to the 2012 version.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsazure/gg430132.aspx#Tools
Note that Azure SQL Reporting only supports Native Mode report server (not Sharepoint Integrated) and also only supports Windows Azure SQL databases as a data source.

Error: Access 2013 creating a table that's a linked table to Sharepoint 2007/2013

I am looking at Access 2013 and when trying to create a linked table to a Sharepoint list, I keep receiving an error:
Access Services
Access can't connect to the external data source because the LocalDB component or the SQL Native Client component are not installed.
That's all there is to the error.
I am an admin with "Full Control" rights to Sharepoint. I have tried this on Sharepoint 2007 and 2013.
I'd like for it to work as it does here:
http://blogs.office.com/b/microsoft-access/archive/2012/08/30/link-to-sharepoint-lists-in-access.aspx
To anyone with same problem above, make sure the following components are installed on the Sharepoint Server:
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Local DB (SQLLocalDB.msi)
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Data-Tier Application Framework (Dacframework.msi)
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Native Client (sqlncli.msi)
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Transact-SQL ScriptDom (SQLDOM.MSI)
Microsoft System CLR Types for Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (SQLSysClrTypes.msi)
You must restart the SharePoint Server after following the install steps from the previous post.

Database doesn't show when creating a data source for Performance Point Dashboard Designer

I have a sharepoint server set up, the dashboard runs great, my data sources are great. I'm trying to add a new data source from a different SSAS machine, and it won't even list it in the database dropdown when I type in my server.
Went thru this with the initial ssas machine and got it to work, and from everything I can see, the new machine is set up the same way. Is there something I need to set in the cube for it to be visible? This is an instance of creating a copy of the original cube and hosting it on a new machine. I type in the name of the server, and where it should list the cubes in the database dropdown, it's empty. If I change the authentication to Per-user Identity, it tells me it was unable to connect to the machine, verify that the servername is correct and yuo have permission to connect to the server. I believe Kerberos delegation is set up, I think I'm just missing something simple with the cube.
Any help would be much appreciated.
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/performancepoint/archive/2012/09/11/specifying-your-adomd-net-data-provider-version.aspx
navigate to \Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\15.0\WebServices\PpsMonitoringServer. Open the web.config file. It should be located in the same directory as PerformancePointService.svc. At the very bottom of the file, you should see an block contained within a block, like this:
<runtime>
<assemblyBinding xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1">
<dependentAssembly>
<assemblyIdentity name="Microsoft.AnalysisServices.AdomdClient" publicKeyToken="89845dcd8080cc91" culture="neutral" />
<bindingRedirect oldVersion="9.0.0.0" newVersion="10.0.0.0" />
</dependentAssembly>
</assemblyBinding>
</runtime>
Change the values in the element from oldVersion="9.0.0.0" to oldVersion=10.0.0.0" and from newVersion="10.0.0.0" to newVersion="11.0.0.0".
It sounds to me like a permissions problem. To verify, you can open your database up to everyone and see if PerformancePoint can connect. If it sees it now, it should be a simple matter of granting permissions to the correct account.
If this is SharePoint 2010, you need to make sure that the unattended service account used for the PerformancePoint service has permission to the cube.
