Editing and emailing a page from a website - web

Is it possible to download a page from a website, edit parts of that webpage, save it and then email it to someone so they can see the changes?
I have been using "save as" "web page, complete" to download the page. I can edit it locally but whenever I email this file either the stylesheet or the images do not appear correctly when they open it!
Is there a better way??

It's quite easy to edit a web page using tools like edit.lize.it, but the best way of saving the result is to take a screenshot, like this.

How to Download New Articles From a List of Websites? Recommendations?

I've ran into several dead ends trying to come up with a result from a Google search. Essentially, I have a list of say 20 websites, all research institutes that occasionally update their websites/blogs with their latest findings.
I'm trying to either A - find a software that can check for new articles, then send me the title and link to the article, or B - write a script that check for new articles, then send me the title and link.
Any suggestions or software recommendations?
You should first see if any of the sites have an RSS feed. That is fairly common, and will do the work for you.
I've built similar things. If the articles have a published date, you could keep a file or database of with the new
The easiest way to save a web page is to download it to your computer. In Chrome, open the three-dot menu and select More Tools > Save page as. For Firefox, open the hamburger menu and choose Save Page As. On Safari, go to File > Save as or File > Export as PDF, and in Microsoft Edge, open the three-dot menu and choose More tools > Save page as.

Sharepoint - Download editable file from url in chrome

We have been stuck on using Internet Explorer in my company for one single reason: when you click on a sharepoint link to a Document in IE, it opens the file as editable. So when you save it, it is automatically saved on the server.
On the other hand, with Chrome or other browsers, it downloads a copy of this file, so the user might loose changes because he thinks the file is saved on the server whereas really it is not...
Anyone thinks of a solution for that?
Thanks !

Tabbed Coded Windows With Dreamweaver Layout?

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to manage more than one website in Dreamweaver at the same time? As I understand it now, every time I need to get a page from a website, I have to change the current site by selecting another site in the Files dropdown... Is there a way to have something like "tabs" where you can instantly switch between different websites without having to click the Files drop-down, select the website, wait for FTP to connect, and then browse that website?
I am using Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 and when I open multiple webpages, they are on tabs already. On the fist screen shot i provided, you can see that index.html and album.html are both opened. If you click on the restore button on the active window (icon encircled), it is manageable like the other image I attached.

Why can I not enter Edit Mode on my custom pages in SharePoint?

I have a very strange issue I just cannot figure out. I am not able to enter Edit Mode on my custom pages. Appending my URL with ?ToolPaneView=2 does nothing. Manipulating the Site Actions button to custom content and changing the MenuItem_EditPage to get the Edit Page button back bring the page into some kind of edit mode with the "Exit Edit Mode" button but still no toolbar or ability to manipulate web parts.
Anyone seen this before?
Thanks
My experience was that the page was created with the SharePoint Server Publishing feature turned on. The site feature was later deactivated and the page could not be edited. Re-activating the feature enabled editing.
I had it once when the page was checked out by the system user.
Discard the current check-out (and lose changes) and I could edit the page again.

error in sharepoint 2010 designer while saving:"Content in the embedded form may be changed by the the server to remove unsafe content. "

I am doing development in SharePoint 2010.
If I create a site page with the SharePoint look and feel for that site on save, I am getting this error:** "Content in the embedded form may be changed by the server to remove unsafe content. Do you want to reload your page to see the results of the save? "** and when I say reload, the server removes some parts of my page, e.g., onclick event of html, asp buttons.
I took a copy of 'How To Read Library' page just edited the text part of that page, and when I try to save this error again comes up.
However, if I create a simple aspx page with only html tags like head body, then there is no problem, everything works great. But SharePoint look and feel pages are giving troubles while saving.
Has anybody seen this previously? What could be the reason for this?
Which template did you use? I've had this same problem using the wiki site template, and found this link indicating you should use the blank site template:

However, I'd hope there's a better solution
