Mule ldap connector not working xsd issue - xsd

In mule ldap connector examples shows xsd available in the http://www.mulesoft.org/schema/mule/ldap/3.3/mule-ldap.xsd. But runtime it shows error, as this xsd not existsing. I browsed http://www.mulesoft.org/schema/mule/ there is no ldap directory after that. Any change in the ldap connector support? Am I wrong using mulestudio(3.5)? I used demo application in the https://github.com/mulesoft/ldap-connector
I'm getting an error like this
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 10; columnNumber: 122; schema_reference.4: Failed to read schema document 'http://www.mulesoft.org/schema/mule/ldap/3.3/mule-ldap.xsd'

It seems like the Mule LDAP conncetor is having support only for Mule 3.3.2 and Mule 3.4 versions.
Try changing the schema declaration to the below one.
<mule xmlns="http://www.mulesoft.org/schema/mule/core"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xmlns:ldap="http://www.mulesoft.org/schema/mule/ldap"
xsi:schemaLocation="
http://www.mulesoft.org/schema/mule/core
http://www.mulesoft.org/schema/mule/core/current/mule.xsd
http://www.mulesoft.org/schema/mule/ldap
http://www.mulesoft.org/schema/mule/ldap/current/mule-ldap.xsd">
<!-- here goes your flows and configuration elements -->
</mule>
If not try changing you Mule version to 3.4.

Mule LDAP Connector
Hope this helps.

Do you have the LDAP connector in your build path? XSDs are always present in your JARs but not always on the web. If you're using MuleStudio, all you need to do is to drag an LDAP message processor from the palette into your flow. Doing so will cause MuleStudio to load the necessary libraries for the LDAP connector and modify your namespaces accordingly.
Judging by the error that you posted, it seems that you are missing a JAR file from your build path. If you are using a Maven project, you can take a look here to learn how to add the necessary dependencies to your pom.xml file. If you're working with a normal Mule project, dragging and dropping an LDAP message processor into your flow should be enough.
I should mention that you need to install the LDAP connector in Mule Studio before you can use it. You can do so through the Cloud Connectors update site that comes bundled with Mule Studio. You can access this update site by going on Help > Install New Software and choosing it from the drop down list.

Log4j Class missing on Weblogic

I have deployed a war file on Oracle Weblogic. War files contain all the required libraries in WEB-INF/lib. But whenever I am trying to visit my webpage, it gives error of
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/log4j/Logger.
try adding to weblogic.xml :
<container-descriptor>
<prefer-web-inf-classes>true</prefer-web-inf-classes>
</container-descriptor>
(Although this may cause secondary issues with JSF jar's.)
The problem is resolved. One of my custom library using log4j, that one was not able to find log4j. So I created the jar including log4j and its working.

How do you import the log4j jar file into an NSF?

I wanted to use the Apache POI classes for Streaming Excel spreadsheets. If I import the log4j-1.2.17.jar file into my Jars in the nsf then no XPages will load.
If I don't I get an error:
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:
javax/xml/stream/XMLEventFactory.newFactory()Ljavax/xml/stream/XMLEventFactory;
at
org.apache.poi.openxml4j.opc.internal.marshallers.PackagePropertiesMarshaller.<clinit>(PackagePropertiesMarshaller.java:45)
at
java.lang.J9VMInternals.initializeImpl(Native Method)
at
java.lang.J9VMInternals.initialize(J9VMInternals.java:201)
at
Since many third party Java apis seem to use the log4j is there a solution? I think this is the same issue that came up with the web services API in XPages?
Your best course of action is to deploy OpenNTF essentials. It contains the POI classes and quite some ready made wrappers to make your life easier.
Deploy into sever via update site nsf approach and deploy to your designer too
Maybe your error can be from the same reason than in that questions. It's a problem of standard jars which come along with the domino installation.
Using External jar causing Error
Axis 1.4 log4j-1.2.8.jar incompatible with XPages?
Howard, put the jar file on the server as well as your local notes client and open up Java security permissions, I think that should do it. Also check that the version you are importing is compatible with Java version on Domino.

Why log4J not working after adding apache CXF?

I have developed small web application using JSF, and i add log4j to handle logging. Everything works perfectly until i implement add web service in my web application. After implement webservice using apache CXF I'm not getting any logs in my log file, but can get logs in eclipse console. I don't know why, it behave like that? My log file simply show messages like
i'm using jdk1.5, log4j 1.2.15 and CXF 2.6.11. Also i was tried some solutions from apache to use log4j instead of cxf default logger. please refer http://cxf.apache.org/docs/debugging-and-logging.html#DebuggingandLogging-LoggingMessages
But recommended solutions are not worked for me. How can i solve this issue?
It is possible that CXF introduces another log mechanism which means adds a yet another logging mechanism, or the imported versions of slf4j/log4j are not compatible.
I would recommend you to check the CXF pom file, and exclude all the log4j/slf4j jar files.
As #Arash said, remove log4j from classpath (if present). Also add the file META-INF/cxf/org.apache.cxf.Logger to the classpath with the following content:
org.apache.cxf.common.logging.Slf4jLogger
Reference: Using SLF4J Instead of java.util.logging
Problem was solved by removing slf4j-jdk14.jar from CXF. Actually Problem is "Class path contains multiple SLF4J bindings". So i removed CXF log4j binding. Now it's working perfectly. Thanks for all.

IllegalArgumentException: com.ibm.ws.jsf.config.annotation.WASMyFacesAnnotationProvider is no org.apache.myfaces.spi.AnnotationProvider

I am trying to deploy an application on Websphere 8.5.5
I've created a shared library for Websphere that includes myfaces 2.2 jars and other dependencies like commons-collections.
I also made the class loader of my application as PARENT_LAST.
When I deploy the application, I get this exception:
An error occured while initializing MyFaces: Class com.ibm.ws.jsf.config.annotation.WASMyFacesAnnotationProvider is no org.apache.myfaces.spi.AnnotationProvider
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Class com.ibm.ws.jsf.config.annotation.WASMyFacesAnnotationProvider is no org.apache.myfaces.spi.AnnotationProvider
at org.apache.myfaces.shared.util.ClassUtils.buildApplicationObject(ClassUtils.java:557)
at org.apache.myfaces.shared.util.ClassUtils.buildApplicationObject(ClassUtils.java:524)
I was looking at running a newer version of MyFaces on WAS 8.5.5, and ran into a similar issue. It appears to be a conflict between the code IBM wrote to support its embedded version of MyFaces, and an application- or shared library-provided MyFaces.
IBM provides a way to circumvent this issue. When WAS 8.0 shipped, it provided a feature to allow select either "SunRI1.2" or "MyFaces" as the server-provided JSF. Setting the default to "SunRI1.2" would remove the server-provided MyFaces from the classpath and allow the developer to provide their own.
Select any application
Click JSP and JSF Options
In the JSF implementation section, change the drop-down to SunRI1.2
Click OK
Save configuration and restart server

Xerces error: org.apache.xerces.impl.dv.dtd.DTDDVFactoryImpl

I'm developing a web application using JSF 2.0, NetBeans 6.9.1, GlassFish Server 3.1, mojarra 2.0.3, and JasperReports 3.7.6. Included in my project library is the jar file "xerces-2.8.0.jar". This file was imported as part of the JasperReports jar file library. Whenever I try to deploy, run, or debug my project through NetBeans, I receive this error:
java.lang.Exception: java.lang.IllegalStateException: ContainerBase.addChild: start: org.apache.catalina.LifecycleException: com.sun.faces.config.ConfigurationException: CONFIGURATION FAILED! DTD factory class org.apache.xerces.impl.dv.dtd.DTDDVFactoryImpl does not extend from DTDDVFactory.
After any change in my project my build fails, and I receive the above error, when I try to deploy, run, or debug it. I have to restart the server and run/debug a second time. I've searched the internet and cannot find a solution to this problem. I've looked at the jar file in question, and and DTDDVFactoryImpl does indeed extend from DTDDVFactory - I don't know why I'm receiving this error. While I can eventually get my project running, it would be much nicer if I wasn't receiving this error.
Can anyone please tell me how I can fix this? Do I need to remove this file from my project library? Do I need to update this file with a newer version/older version?
If you provide your own xerces.jar, you have to do that through the Endorsed Standards Override Mechanism (java -Djava.endorsed.dirs=/path/to/xerces.jar), you are not allowed to just add it on the classpath (and will sooner or later run into trouble if you do). Let me explain.
JAXP is the Java API for XML Processing. The creation of JAXP objects (like parsers, XSLT transfomers, DOM Documents) is done through the factory/factory-method pattern so you can plugin a new JAXP implementation (it has to be newer than the one provided in your JRE). Xerces provides (part of) a JAXP implementation and contains endorsed standards (an endorsed standard is a Java API defined through a standards process other than the Java Community Process, see the Endorsed Standards Override Mechanism). You'll run in all kinds of troubles if you don't use the ESOM.
I got this error when using Selenium with Glassfish. I got around it by copying XML jars (xerces-*, xalan-*, xml-apis*, serialize*) from selenium/libs/ to $AS_HOME/lib/endorsed (for Glassfish 2) or to $AS_HOME/glassfish/lib/endorsed for Glassfish 4.
