No Input File Specified - Joomla - .htaccess

I have recently moved a website from one host to another, it's a joomla installation and I got everything to work in the end, however when trying to download the 7 day trial, it says "No Input file specified", I have no idea how this is related to just that file, I have searched endless on this issue and most people have issued with their htaccess it seems.
https://www.arbershop-pro.com/ (try to download the 7 day trial)
this is my htaccess:

This is a JavaScript issue:
function populateIframe(name,email,id,path)

ifrm.src = "https://www.arbershop-pro.com/\modules\mod_trial_download/jsQuery.php?path="+path+"&name="+name+"&email="+email;

}
Fix the URL as
https://www.arbershop-pro.com/modules/mod_trial_download/jsQuery.php?path=
and the download starts working.
Okay, shifting gears to PHP now :) Output the jsQueryPath as
<?php echo str_replace('\\', '/', $jsQueryPath); ?>

I'm trying to rewrite this:
RewriteRule ^/index.php?option=com_ajax&format=json$ /$ [R=301,L]
I was trying to put this higher/lower in code, nothing seems to wrok. Also tried to add "rewritebase /" (yes joomla is in root folder), but still no luck.
I've also tried joomla's redirect plugin/module but it doesn't work as well.
I'm checking/testing rewrite with https://httpstatus.io/ , non www to www works just fine, but nothing else.
What am I doing wrong?
Try this:
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^option=com_ajax&format=json
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.example.com/? [R=301,L]

Remove index.php and subdirectory in url string Joomla

I am trying to remove the subdirectory name and the index.php from a website running Joomla.
I have the following setup:
../public_html/.htaccess
../public_html/subdir/htaccess.txt
I have looked through several articles such as this one that have helped me a little but I can't quite get there. I have also studied a little about the .htaccess file from articles such as this one and this one to help me with this.
The setup that works but displays the subdirectory and index.php looks like this:
cat /../public_html/.htaccess
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(www\.)?domain\.co\.uk$
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/subdir/
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /subdir/$1
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(www\.)?domainn\.co\.uk$
RewriteRule ^(/)?$ subdir/index.php [L]
# Use PHP5.4 as default
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php54 .php
cat /../public_html/subdir/htaccess.txt (Joomla default)

With the two .try files saved instead of the originals, I am getting a redirection loop, as printed out by the browser:
This webpage has a redirect loop
ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS
I have also tried modifying the files myself but most of them lead to "internal server error" probably meaning the syntax written is not correct, or they overrule each other?
Any idea how the two files should look like?
regarding public_html/subdir/htaccess.txt
# RewriteBase /
this should be uncommented and edited to match your current subfolder, like this:
RewriteBase /subdir/
public_html/subdir/htaccess.txt must be renamed to public_html/subdir/.htaccess in order for it to be processed by apache;
finally, enable SEF in your admin panel global settings

.htaccess URL rewriting issue

I am working on redirecting all files in the URI(?) www.gdlsk.com/practice to this new address:
http://www.gdlsk.com/customs-broker-regulation/customs-broker-exam-sign-up.html
I'd all of these examples to redirect to http://www.gdlsk.com/customs-broker-regulation/customs-broker-exam-sign-up.html:
http://www.gdlsk.com/practice
http://www.gdlsk.com/practice/
http://www.gdlsk.com/practice/*
Where * is wildcard. Want to catch any and all requests.

Redirect 301 /practice/highform.html http://www.gdlsk.com/customs-broker-regulation/customs-broker-exam-sign-up.html
I assume that you are typing query string params and you want to stop them being passed on the redirect. Add a ? to drop the query string parameters as below
RewriteRule ^/practice/ http://www.gdlsk.com/customs-broker-regulation/customs-broker-exam-sign-up.html? [R=301,L]
Edit.
Based on last update this should do the trick
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/practice [NC]
RewriteRule . http://www.gdlsk.com/customs-broker-regulation/customs-broker-exam-sign-up.html? [R=301,L]
Try using rewrites instead of redirects. For example:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^/practice/ http://www.gdlsk.com/customs-broker-regulation/customs-broker-exam-sign-up.html [R=301,L]
