Hello I have a problem wich I would like to find the perfect solution for it.
I am a publisher in many monetizing platforms like : admob,adfonic..
for example in my main layout.
I declared admob but if I wanna show adfonic I must do a whole update of my app vercion for my users would see adfonic instead.
So is there anyway of control those lines or controling that xml that shows either admob of adfonic ?

I strongly recommend using a mediation solution like Admob mediation where you can configure which networks to use at runtime.

My company is currently looking into making our website "Web Accessible". I'm very rough when it comes to using Kentico (v8.2.50), but that's the CMS that is driving our site.
Running the front page through a Web Accessibility Checker, we encountered this warning on our main menu strip:
script not keyboard accessible - onmouseout missing onblur
onmouseover event handler missing onfocus event handler.
The fix sounds simple, but I'm not sure where to add these events. Has anyone had any experience with this?
It really depends on how your site has been put together. If the site has been built using the portal engine, you're probably able to find the markup that you're looking for in one of the transformations. There is a possibility that you're using the CMSListMenu control which for restricted flexibility in terms of markup. Without a little more information or a page to look at it is hard to tell.
As for looking through transformations, I can highly recommend Search for Kentico to help find things within the CMS, it's been invaluable on a number of occasions when looking for specific markup. What it can do is help you locate things within Kentico by very quickly looking through the templates and transformations etc.
I recently started using Xamarin.Forms for a project. Like the documentation mentions, it's great for prototyping. However, I'm really starting to notice limitations of the shared concepts for UI design. In particular, the inability to set custom button content (such as an image) is aggravating. I'm sure there will be several instances where I'll want to change how controls work.
The way I see it, there are two routes I could take. One, continue using Xamarin.Forms and make use of custom renderers. Considering I would still like my UI code to be shared, but also customized from the basic Xamarin.Forms controls, I'm leaning towards this option. Two, use the native Xamarin projects (Xamarin.iOS, Xamarin.Android). This would give me full control over the UI for each platform, but it would also mean more code to maintain.
Like I mentioned, I'm currently favoring the option to use custom renderers with Xamarin.Forms. Could I get some insight from those who have used one or (preferably) both options?
I've mainly used Xamarin.Forms. For the right kinds of apps (ones that are, well, "Forms"-like), it works pretty well.
Writing custom renderers isn't that hard, but the documentation is, unfortunately, not that great. Depending on what you're doing, it can be a bit tricky at times translating between the native control and the Forms layout engine. However once you get the hang of it, it makes sense, and now that the code is open source, you can peek inside to see how the "built-in" controls work.
There are various extensions that add more controls. Some are free and open source, like XLabs.Forms. So the control you need might be out there already.
You can use mechanisms like TapGestureRecognizer to turn an Image or a Label into a button, so just because the built-in Forms Button is really, really lacking in customizability, you can sometimes find other ways to get the same effect and still stay within pure Xamarin.Forms.

XamarinForms is good for sample application who don't need to use a lot of specificity of the device.
For complex applications, I advise you to start on Xamarin Ios and Android.
It will take more time to take charge but you will see it is much more permissive
I have been working on maximo anywhere apps recently and have a requirement to completely change the look and feel of the work execution app, the oslc layer which talks to maximo in the backend remains the same and all the functionalities are the same but there are some new buttons, notification messages and all sorts of UX aspects to be added to the app, I have just started looking at the architecture and code of the app but does anyone know how can I make changes to the front-end or is it even possible? I could find very few documents available online and all of them spoke of customizing features and functionalities but I coudlnot find any document for adding UX aspects.
It would be great someone could point out any documents or kick-off points which I can start looking into.

Thanks for asking, if you're just talking about adding new fields, layouts, screens to the UI, you can do that all through the app.xml, and there are lots of examples on our knowledge center, for example this one:

If you're talking about changing the "look" of the existing widgets, this can all be done through css, by overriding our out of the box css classes. Use Chrome inspector to figure out which css class is being used for each element type, and just override it through standard css approaches.
If you're talking about more advanced customization, for example adding your own new widget types to our screens, it is possible to programmatically instantiate/destroy your own widgets through javascript and add them to our standard application views. This code is usually hooked on the initialize and back event of our views. But you'll be responsible for writing the code to synchronize the data layer with your custom widget. We unfortunately don't have a published example of this customization usecase yet.
We always adding new widget capabilities to our Anywhere UI framework, so I'd love to hear feedback on the new widget types you're interested in.
I am using the Cast Companion Library and most of it is working well however I have not been able to figure out how to show the device chooser programmatically.
Basically when a user chooses a video on my app I would like to show the chooser if they haven't yet connected.

If you are using the MediaRouteButton and it's accessible:

you need to "Developing a custom UI with the MediaRouter API’s and MediaRouter.Callback" but I didn't find any example how to do it .
First, I suggest you do not do that. I don't know what you are planning to do in your app so I can't say much but don't do something custom in terms of user interaction/flow that is different from other apps and the apps offered by the framework; people will not expect that.
On the technical side, if you want to open the standard dialog, I am not aware of any trick but I haven't looked at the MediaRouter code in v7 support library for that; since that is open source, you are welcome to look in there and see if there is any simple way to do that. If you want to design your custom one, you should be able to do that; the CastCompanionLibrary provides a sample of the Callback dialog and the one for chooser follows a similar pattern.
As a side note, you mentioned you want to open the chooser when user selects a movie. So how can they select to play locally? Are you planning to add additional selection to that dialog for local playback?

Is there some project, technology, w/e that enables you to build a 'browser' with a very slim ui. Just some CI and a customised "starting page".
I'm thinking of something like the Webkit engine (and interface) Valve/Steam uses for it's clients store page.
In what direction should I search for something like that ? How would one start implement something like that ?

We need this to provide something like a "Kiosk" application (for touchscreens) and shippable to our Customers. Running a browser in "full screen" is a temporary solution.
As of Platforms: Windows is absolutely sufficient for now, but Mac/Linux wouldn't hurt.
Prism looks nice so far but lacks the "shippable" part, e.g. I see no way of packaging it.
Take a look at Mozilla Prism. It's a "UI-Less" version of the Mozilla/Gecko rendering engine aimed at deploying web apps on the Desktop. It's also multi-platform. It might be fairly close to what you need, with comparably little work.
WebKit has bindings for many languages, is cross-platform, and is full-featured as a HTML engine. A bit of work capturing signals and calling functions will make it into any kind of web browser you like.
You could use Adobe Air, follow this tutorial and include your website within an iframe. That would allow you to build an executable you can ship to your customer.
Various graphics toolkit libraries contain some components which can display a limited amount of HTML. I've seen this in qt (a C++ GUI library) and in Java Swing, and have indeed built a tiny "browser" in Java within a couple of hours. Java Swing lets you attach a link listener so links can be made clickable and thereby jump to different URLs. Thus, my application could be made to work as a very limited browser.
This approach lets you display text, images and links; in the case of Java, there's even fairly good support for CSS styling. However, there's no simple way to make buttons and form fields work, and of course no support for manipulating the DOM or anything else done in JavaScript.
