Windows Text to Speech uses which library and function - nasm

I am making a NASM code to invoke text to speech . I need to know which windows library and function does windows "Text to speech" utility use( The default one ) . I tried searching on MSDN but its pointing me towards Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio , Microsoft Silverlight etc .

Microsoft Speech API or SAPI - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms723627(v=vs.85).aspx
I am not very familiar with NASM so I cannot advice you on how to do it with NASM.

You could take a look at the below link. But not really sure, how you would implement it in an assembler program.
Microsoft Speech SDK 5.1

Microsoft Office 2013 App Building

I've never worked on Office Apps before nor have I ever used an API before.
All I want is to develop an Office App for Microsoft Office 2013. I would like to use Bing Maps or Bing Image Search in it. Can anybody guide me through it.
You can find documentation on how to create Office apps here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/jj220082.aspx
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/jj220065.aspx
Since this is just HTML and JavaScript you can easily use the Bing Maps V7 JavaScript control to add maps. You can find documentation here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg427610.aspx
You can also find an interactive SDK here: http://www.bingmapsportal.com/ISDK/AjaxV7#CreateMap1

Is it possible to compile MonoTouch projects with languages other than C#?

How would I go about using F# or J# for instance? I'm not sure what to get to grips with in the project's compiler settings.
Is there a sequence of command line steps I could follow to compile a MonoTouch project that I might interpret to replace the C# step but tell the other compiler to use the correct platform details etc?
Thank you.
Unfortunately, no. In the book "Developing C# Apps for iPhone and iPad using MonoTouch" you could see text (proof):
C# Is Currently the Only Language
Additionally, currently, the only .NET language available for writing MonoTouch applications is C#.
Nothing changed since that book publication.
Maxim Korobov is right, MonoDevelop only supports C# when writing for MonoTouch.
But this is not the whole truth: MonoDevelop also has (preliminary) support for Portable Library Projects (PLP). What this means is that you can create and compile PLP projects in Visual Studio (in any language Visual Studio supports for PLP projects), and then reference that library in MonoDevelop. Just have in mind that the PLP support is preliminary right now, and you might run into a few bumps on the way.

Windows CE power management with labview

I am trying to control the backlight of a device using labview touch panel module. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? In C++ I could call a setdevicepower() function but labview doesn't have the ability that I know of to do this. I am interfacing with Windows CE 5.0 or 6.0. Any help would be good. Thanks!
I don't know much about Windows CE, but I'll try to reply.
In your C++ code I suspect you are using some library. Looking at SetDevicePower on msdn it's coredll.lib, right ?
What you could do is to find a coredll.dll (if it exists) and then call this library from within LabVIEW (see: How Do I Call a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) from LabVIEW? ) . If the dll doesn't exist, you could write your own in C++.

Windows CE UI Componets

Are there any UI Components for Windows CE 6.0, other than the ones supplied by the Compact Framework and Visual Studio? I am developing applications with C# and the Compact Framework that need some visual design and the VS controls and components are not sufficient to me.
Thx your answers.
See this similar question: Round buttons for Windows Mobile. It should be relevant for Windows CE 6 as well. The example is in native code, but you can use SDF 1.4 source code to convert it to C#. I guess you can use the technique shown to create more controls of your own.
I also found this article about creating custom controls for Windows Mobile that might suite Windows CE as well as it is based on the compact framework, but I have not read this through nor tested it.
What components exactly are you looking for?
Windows CE6 R3 now supports Silverlight, so you can do some pretty cool things, although i think it's a little more complicated than typical Silverlight.
