i started using couchdb with python-couchdb recently. The problem is when i use futon run my views written in python i get the following error message:
Error: os_process_error
{exit_status,4}
even for the default view it crashes.
def fun(doc):
yield None, doc
i set query_server in local.ini to
[query_server] python=C:\Python27\Lib\site-packages\couchpy-0.2dev-py2.7.egg\couchpy
Exit status 4 for Windows means that CouchDB is unable to open or locate file. I suppose you'd mess up couchpy project with couchpy view server. First one is just (afaik) client library, while second one is a part of another client library that ships with view server.
UPD: For Windows Python view server install with next line according your Python path:
[query_servers]
python=C:\Python27\Scripts\couchpy.exe

I'm trying to run Heat Clinic 6.0.1 locally following getting started tutorial: https://www.broadleafcommerce.com/docs/core/current/getting-started/running-locally
I managed to run admin and site but not the API project. The application starts without problems but when I go to http://localhost:8082/api/v1/swagger-ui.html I get a 404. In the log I see this exception:
javax.servlet.ServletException: Circular view path [error]: would dispatch back to the current handler URL [/error] again. Check your ViewResolver setup! (Hint: This may be the result of an unspecified view, due to default view name generation.)
Also trying to log in directly in the API with user broadleafapi and password gives 404.
My environment: Windows 10, jdk 8, maven 3.6
What's wrong? Can you help me? Thank you
Thanks for the report. I reproduced this and it looks like that with the update to Spring Boot 2.0, we did not appropriately override the updated property that specifies the servlet location to embedded Tomcat. Thus, when you went to /api/v1/swagger-ui.html, the application treats it exactly like that URL which is what gave the 404.
Setting the server.servlet.contextPath=/api/v1 property appropriately stripped off this path as part of the servlet context and resolved the 404.
I tested around a bit and was able to 'Authorize' the app (button at the top right of the Swagger page) with the credentials information that get spit out in the logs:
Basic auth configured with user broadleafapi and password: <<generated>>
then I was able to hit the API endpoints.
The changes you will need to make locally in your project to consume the fix are at https://github.com/BroadleafCommerce/DemoSite/commit/422d1cdc37f847afd8bec0be477ab784cbad2e9d#diff-991c59b6dbb0f619b8570d8f8779eaddR11. You will notice that I moved the original definition in default.properties over to common.properties and I recommend that you do the same. To be clear, follow these steps:
Delete the server.servlet.contextPath entry in `api/src/main/resources/runtime-properties/default.properties
Change server.servletPath in api/src/main/resources/runtime-properties/common.properties to server.servlet.contextPath
Thanks for trying out Broadleaf and the report, sorry for the rough early start!
I have followed the getting started page closely.
https://cloud.google.com/natural-language/docs/reference/libraries#client-libraries-install-php
The example code has the following: $projectId = 'YOUR_PROJECT_ID';
I fill in my project id taken from the json file and the Google console--e.g. "$projectID = 'myproject-197218'" and I always get a fatal error with "Permission Denied."
I have set the env variable, run composer to install the library. And, I created the Google json file. I am running the example in PHP code.
I am running the code on my local server (xampp).
I figured out my problem. The Google Cloud json file was stored on my drive d:, so in the env variable I referenced it as 'GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS= d:\xampp\htdocs\googapi\mproj.json', it did not work; when I moved it to the root of the c: drive and referenced it there (GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS=c:proj.json), it worked fine.
Are you sure that the ID of your project is that one? I'm working in Google Cloud and I cannot see this project ID in our database, but if I type "my-project-197218" with a "-" between "my" and "project" I am able to find one project. please, to make sure that this is your correct project ID, run this command in your Google Cloud Shell to get the default project ID:
gcloud config list --format 'value(core.project)' 2>/dev/null
I have recently started working with MongoDB and had it working for a small web test with node JS However. I new my implementation wasn't following a decent MVC structure. I began searching and found this website and read through it. It's implementation look good as well as following a good MVS skeleton structure.
Express/NodeJS/MongoDB CRUD Skeleton
I got to the part where he says 'HOORAY! We've got a functioning web server that is talking to Mongo. Part 1 is accomplished." Unfortunately, I went the local host specified and it says the 'site cannot be reached'. I am still fairly new to NodeJs, Mongo and Express and cannot figure out why it is not working.
I am not sure if I have done a step wrong time and time again which I doubt or if there something is missing that is stopping me from having it working.
The part before it says:
Awesome. Now to test it's all working in the terminal type npm start and you shouldn't see any errors:
kcoleman-mbp:nodewebapp kcoleman$ npm start
> nodewebapp#0.0.1 start /Users/kcoleman/Documents/projects/nodewebapp
> node ./bin/www
That part I get the same outcome with:
nodewebApp and node./bin/www
The page says to navigate to 127.0.0.0:3000, but the localhost usualy defaults to 127.0.0.1. I didn't see any code in the page where he defines the port to 127.0.0.0.
So try connecting to 127.0.0.1:3000.
Coming to nodewebApp and node./bin/www, it could be because the command might be present in pacakge.json. If you delete the nodewebApp from package.json, you won't be seeing the same in the command.
I am playing around with using the connexion framework to setup a REST API access for my application.
My application is is built on python2, I installed the connexion framework for python2 and played around with the yaml file via the editor (editor.swagger.io). I downloaded the Python Flask server code, converted it to be compatable with Python2 and tested for a single controller.
When the controller is placed in the same directory as the place where the server is run. Everything was fine - all routes were added and working as expected. I then proceeded to split the controller based on some business logic and wanted a tree structure for each controller.
Something like
myapp/api/magic1/magic1_controller.py
myapp/api/magic2/magic2_controller.py
and so on.
This does not work for python2. It seems to work for python3. Any ideas why?
I get the following error from logs
DEBUG:connexion.api:Security Definitions: {}
DEBUG:connexion.api:Validate Responses: False
DEBUG:connexion.api:Creating API blueprint: /api
DEBUG:connexion.api:Adding swagger.json: /api/swagger.json
DEBUG:connexion.api:Adding swagger-ui: /api/ui/
DEBUG:connexion.api:Adding /api/magic1/{name}...
ERROR:connexion.api:Failed to add operation for GET /api/magic1/{name}
In the yaml config file I add the OperationId as api.magic1.func1() and so on.
Following the information you provided here the operationId should be set to api.magic1.magic1_controller.func1 and not api.magic1.magic1.func1().
You are missing to provide more details about your problem. Code snippets would help to guide you in a more detailed solution.
I am moving from cvsserv1 to cvsserv2. I am running cvs1.11 on current server on RHEL. I am moving to cvsserv2 which is running ubuntu 12. This is my procedure to port cvs:
zip entire repository on cvsserv1
move zip to cvsserv2
extract zip to /home/users on cvsserv2.
setup cvs service on cvsserve2 in pserver mode.
initialize repository on /home/users/cvsroot by using "cvs -d /home/users/cvsroot init"
connect to cvsserv2 from eclipse using anonymous access to do a test checkout.
I am failing on step6 with the error message "no such repository". What am I doing wrong?
UPDATE
I tried to change the above method, by adopting this http://mazanatti.info/archives/67/ and I was partially successful.
At step 3 (as in that link), after initializing repo on cvsserv2, I copied my repository to /var/lib/cvsd/project1, overwriting CVSROOT folder. Now, after finishing all steps, I was able to connect successfully. However, when I try to check out, I don't see any branches. When I tried to Refresh Tags, I receive the following error:
What is going wrong?
Ok. I figured this one out. For those who might encounter this issue again, here's how I managed to identify and fix it:
Eclipse's cvs client sucks - it doesn't give you much information. (I could be wrong, may be it writes some debug info to eclipse log file - still, I think that error message should have been more descriptive). Anyway, I obtained TortoiseCVS and attempted a checkout and it failed with an error message on the lines of -"failed to obtain dir lock in repository `/home/cvsroot/foo'. This is not the exact message, but it was something like that.
So, all I had to do, was go into my cvs dump from cvsserv1, look for references to that directory (which is a valid path on cvsserv1 but not cvsserv2). I found a reference to it in config file under CVSROOT folder. It was assigned to a property called LockDir. This property was referring to a /home/cvsroot/foo on the older server as a lock directory. All I had to do was comment out this property and restart cvsd. Everything started working just fine after this!
