I am trying to create an app on foursquare. I do fill all the required fields. By submitting the app form will result in 400 bad request with no message in the browser.
However the Response looks like this:
{"meta":{"code":400,"errorType":"param_error","errorDetail":"Value is invalid for pushVersion"},"response":{}}
Can it be a bug on their side, or am I missing something?
Thanks
Was also just getting this error.... The pushVersion being posted to /v2/apps/create is blank and there is no visible user input for the field. The field is in the markup though so if you use Chrome dev tools or firebug you can find the version input's div wrapper and remove the style="display: none;", then fill in the field. I entered "20130115" and chose that I didn't want pushes and the app was created successfully.

I am pretty sure I am using exactly the same code in the following two cases, as I tested it on Postman first.
The first time I tried to create a task from Postman, it has no issue.
The next time I tried to do the same from my NodeJS server, and it shows this error. I tried the client SDK package and manually calling through Axios, both are not working and throwing the same error.
Is the Asana API not callable from NodeJS server?
It turns out the "Headers" does not indicate the Headers sent with the request, but the "Headers" HTML Element inside the rich text field. Ensure there's no h1-h6 element in your html_notes can solve this issue.
I finally got my html website working in an Azure App.
Now I want to add a Contact Form.
I have done a simple HTML form that calls the MailGun API but nothing happens when I click submit.
There are no errors showing in the browser.
I followed the instructions here to create the form.
It turned out that I had incorrect settings in
$api_key = 'INSERT_API_KEY_HERE';
$api_domain = 'INSERT_DOMAIN_HERE';
$send_to = 'YOUR_EMAIL';
This became apparent after displaying the error from the Ajax call.
As explained here
I'm a programmer who is just getting started working with groovy in Jira in order to automate some tasks.
I'm trying to write a custom listener script using the inline editor in Jira, but haven't gotten past trying to get a Hello World program to work.
I don't know if the script is running, and can't see any output, and I really need some help with figuring out how to debug the script, preferably through outputs to some kind of console (or even just by reading the Jira logs if necessary), just so that I can actually start trying to learn how to use this tool.
I'm working with the information HERE as a general guideline to start learning to work with the inline editor.
For a little more context, you can see another related question that I asked HERE.
I've set the debug level to DEBUG for the event which I'm attaching the listener, as shown in this screenshot, based on the information found HERE:
Here is a screenshot of the inline editor I'm working in in JIRA. In this screenshot, I'm just trying to output 'Hello', and have just clicked the 'Preview' button:
As you can see, in the 'Result' tab at the bottom of the screen, there is nothing of interest. The 'Logs' tab is also empty, and the 'Timing' tab just says 'Elapsed: 0 ms CPU time: 0 ms', so it seems like nothing if happening.
If I check the log on the server (in the file catalina.2017-10-13.txt), I see the following output:
13-Oct-2017 07:01:50.942 WARNING [http-nio-8080-exec-6] com.sun.jersey.spi.container.servlet.WebComponent.filterFormParameters A servlet request, to the URI http://somevmserver:8080/rest/scriptrunner-jira/latest/listeners/com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.workflow.listeners.CustomListener/params, contains form parameters in the request body but the request body has been consumed by the servlet or a servlet filter accessing the request parameters. Only resource methods using #FormParam will work as expected. Resource methods consuming the request body by other means will not work as expected.
13-Oct-2017 07:02:26.740 WARNING [http-nio-8080-exec-12] com.sun.jersey.spi.container.servlet.WebComponent.filterFormParameters A servlet request, to the URI http://somevmserver:8080/rest/scriptrunner/latest/canned/com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.common.StaticCompilationChecker, contains form parameters in the request body but the request body has been consumed by the servlet or a servlet filter accessing the request parameters. Only resource methods using #FormParam will work as expected. Resource methods consuming the request body by other means will not work as expected.
13-Oct-2017 07:02:26.974 WARNING [http-nio-8080-exec-1] com.sun.jersey.spi.container.servlet.WebComponent.filterFormParameters A servlet request, to the URI http://somevmserver:8080/rest/scriptrunner-jira/latest/listeners/com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.workflow.listeners.CustomListener/preview, contains form parameters in the request body but the request body has been consumed by the servlet or a servlet filter accessing the request parameters. Only resource methods using #FormParam will work as expected. Resource methods consuming the request body by other means will not work as expected.
This output doesn't mean a whole lot to me, but it seems apparent that it's being populated as a result of trying to preview the script.
I'm not getting any errors in the inline editor, and it's really simple code, so I don't think it's that.
The only other information I can include that I think is pertinent is that this is a test instance of Jira cloned from our production environment, and its base URL is still set to the URL of the prod environment. Not sure if that has any bearing, but I'm not really a Jira admin, just the programmer tasked with doing this, so I don't want to go fiddling around where I don't need to.
Thanks!
When using scriptrunner within jira, you'll need to import the logger to use the debugger or to output to the console. This can be done with the following:
// Enable debugger
import org.apache.log4j.Logger
import org.apache.log4j.Level
def log = Logger.getLogger("com.acme.CreateSubtask")
log.setLevel(Level.DEBUG)
And then, you'll be able to see the logged information using log.debug "hello"
To see your debug message "Hello" in the log, you must update a issue in your selected project. The Result, Logs and Timing Tabs at the bottom are useless in this view. Just trigger the Listener with a issue update in your selected project and search your debug message in the atlassian-jira.log file.
Hint: To view the Log in the browser you can use this jira app https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.cps.lastLog/server/overview
I want to implement the Google Drive API to my web application using NodeJS and I'm struggling when I try to get a token via OAuth.
I've copied the code from this guide and run the script using Node and it returns an error in this line:
var redirectUrl = credentials.installed.redirect_uris[0];
Googling around I found that I can set that variable as http://localhost:8080 and set the same value in the Authorized redirect URIs configuration in the Google Developers Console and that error goes away, fine, it works. Now it asks for a code that I should get by using an URL.
https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/auth?access_type=offline&scope=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.googleapis.com%2Fauth%2Fdrive.metadata.readonly&response_type=code&client_id=CLIENT_ID&redirect_uri=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%3A8080
Then I've added the client id and enter to that URL with Chrome and then returns a connection refused error. No clue what to do in here, I searched about my problem and I can't found an answer. By looking at the direction bar in Chrome I see that there's a parameter called code and after it, there's random numbers and letters. Like this:
http://localhost:8080/?code=#/r6ntY87F8DAfhsdfadf78F7D765lJu_Vk-5qhc#
If I add any of these values it returns this error...
Error while trying to retrieve access token { [Error: invalid_request] code: 400 }
Any ideas on what should I do? Thanks.
Did you follow all the directions on the page you indicated, including all of those in Step 1 where you create the credentials in the console and download the JSON for it? There are a few things to note about creating those credentials and the JSON that you get from it:
The steps they give are a little different from what I went through. They're essentially correct, but the "Go to credentials" didn't put me on the page that has the "OAuth Consent Screen" and "Credentials" tabs on the top. I had to click on the "Credentials" left navigation for the project first.
Similarly, on the "Credentials" page, my button was labeled "Create Credentials", not "Add Credentials". But it was a blue button on the top of the page either way.
It is very important that you select "OAuth Client ID" and then Application Type of "Other". This will let you create an OAuth token that runs through an application and not through a server.
Take a look at the client_secret.json file it tells you to download. In there, you should see an entry that looks something like "redirect_uris":["urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob","http://localhost"] which is the JSON entry that the line you reported having problems with was looking for.
That "urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob" is a magic string that says that you're not going to redirect anywhere as part of the auth stage in your browser, but instead you're going to get back a code on the page that you will enter into the application.
I suspect that the "connection refused" error you're talking about is that you used "http://localhost:8080/" for that value, so it was trying to redirect your browser to an application running on localhost... and I suspect you didn't have anything running there.
The application will prompt you to enter the code, will convert the code into the tokens it needs, and then save the tokens for future use. See the getNewToken() function in the sample code for where and how it does all this.
You need to use this code to exchange for a token. I'm not sure with nodejs how to go about this but in PHP I would post the details to the token exchange url. In javascript you post array would look similar to this ....
var query = {'code': 'the code sent',
'client_id': 'your client id',
'client_secret': 'your client secret',
'redirect_uri': 'your redirect',
'grant_type': 'code' };
Hope this helps
Change redirect uri from http://localhost:8080 to https://localhost:8080.
For this add SSL certificates to your server.
I am trying to create an html object dynamically with the necessary header information depending on the query string in the link I provide to Facebook. I am hoping that Facebook open graph will call this html link as I provided. However it seems that query string info are not getting passed to my server. Do anyone know how to make this work or what is the more appropriate way to do this. BTW, I am writing my code in Node.js.
To get more info about Facebook open graph api, look here, https://developers.facebook.com/docs/beta/opengraph/actions/.
For example, the link I am trying to pass to Facebook is, "http://xxx-url.com/getFacebookObject?objectId=&description=first dynamic post", so I sent a request with the link as, "https://graph.facebook.com/me/app-name:action-name?object=http://xxx-url.com/getFacebookObject?objectId=&description=first dynamic post". However, when I check the log on the server, I don't see anything in the query string.
Instead of using the query string, you can embed the data in the URL:
http://some-domain.com/getFacebookObject/id/description
Then, depending on what node.js packages you're using, extract the data from the request:
// expess.js style
app.get("/getFacebookObject/:id/:description", function(req, res) {
var id = req.params.id,
desc = req.params.description;
// your code...
});
(See http://expressjs.com/guide.html.)
Sorry, Facebook will strip off all query string information from the URL when they launch your site in the iframe. If it was a page tab app, then you could add it to the app_data query string parameters which in turn gets passed to your iframe's page tab app via the app_data part of the signed_request parameter.
