Location document of the ID using lotus client uses IE (Internet Explorer) as browser. An Xpage with styles applied for Table cell and Tabs (for tabbed panel) works when Xpage is opened on IE. However when same Xpage is opened on Lotus Notes client, styles are not getting applied for Table and Tab panels.However styles are getting applied for panels (for both client and web). All styles are mentioned on CSS which are included on Xpage resource.
The Notes client caches styles when rendering xpages, and the cache persists even when the client is restarted.
When you have an xpage open in the Notes client, the keyboard shortcut Ctrl-Shift-Delete should produce a prompt that says "Delete all private data permanently?".
Click OK on that prompt, then close and reopen the xpage, and any style changes should take effect.

when using the unplugged mobile controls, in a view 20 entries were loaded in the Unp|FlatViewList Xpage (by default).
When i click on the "load more" button (or when I change the settings to "pull" instead of the button), no further entries were loaded, and no error occurs. I have this problem with the Browser (Firefox/Chrome) and with the iPhone.
Do you have any solutions for this issue?
Regards
Stefan
Does this help from the documentation?
The "Load More" function requires the presence of the XPage called UnpFlatViewList, it is this which is used by the control to perform Ajax requests to get each chunk of data to display to the user.

If not can you provide the XML from the XPage or Custom Control?
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
I have a VC++ MFC dialog application with a web browser ActiveX control. I have "Next" and "Prev" buttons using which I let the user navigate through a list of pre-defined URLs, whose content are shown in the web browser control. Since I know the list of URLs at the start itself, I would like to pre-load the content in some way while the user is looking at one page, so that when they click on "Next", the content has already been fetched and can be shown to the user instead of waiting for the page to load. I did not find any documentation on how to do that so far. Does anyone have any ideas on how to achieve this? I was thinking of having a second invisible web browser control where I pre-load the next URL, but it would be tricky to handle the user clicking Next when the next URL is still loading in the other browser.
When I create file download control on a document I can display the attached files from a Rich Text Field.
In a separate process I am attaching more documents to the same document. I want to periodically refresh the download control container to see if there are new attachments. I do not want to do a full refresh of the page.
I have discovered that the partialRefresh of the file download control container either programmatically or manually does not result in the contents (downloadable files) being accurately updated.
XSP.partialRefreshGet('view:_id1:fileDownload1')
A full refresh of the screen shows the newly attached documents but I want to be able to partial refresh the panel container and see the new documents without full page refresh.
I have added a Random() computed text value into the panel and I can see that it is being refreshing correctly. I have even looked at the xhr response from the server and I can see that there is an update being made - but not with the new attachments in it - the "attached files" are not refreshing without full page refresh.
I can only assume this is a feature of the filedownload control in that it does not know that new files are attached at any other time other than page load.
Suggestions?
When partially refreshing a XPage, the datasources are not reloaded, only their last state (stored in memory or hdd ) is restored. If you change the scope of your datasource to request, the XPages engine is forced to recreate the datasource instead of using the cached one on each request (which includes partial refreshs).
This should allow you to refresh your fileDownload control without a full refresh.
Marky,
Yes, I have run into this before. You must do a full refresh with attachments.

The link is fairly old, but I believe it still applies.
Matt White says in the article comments: "...Basically it is not currently possible to post a file attachment over AJAX, you either have to use Flash or a virtual iFrame solution if you don't want the entire page to refresh. As far as I know there is nothing that IBM can do about this at the moment.

The XPages Mobile Controls provide an easy way to mobilize Notes/Domino data. However, if you have say 3 different views that help point a user to a specific record, the "Back" button you add to your appPage that allows users to view/edit the document can only be pointed back to a specific appPage. What's the best way to create a programmable Back button taking into account the view that the user came in via.
The back button on a mobile page can be computed dynamically just like any other XPage property.
Try this for example where you can set the scope to a mobile page you've navigated from to the current mobile page.
<xp:this.moveTo>
<![CDATA[#{javascript:var from = sessionScope.get(“from”); return
from;
}]]>
</xp:this.moveTo>
This is the same technique that is used in the Discussion XL and TeamRoom XL templates for their mobile apps.
To set the scope use the rendered property in the heading control for each 'view' mobile page so every time these pages are loaded or swapped to the scoped variable is set. Try the following link to get the full demo markup from OpenNTF XSnippets

I had created a simple web part with one label, and one button. I wnat that when i click the button the label content will change.
But when i debugg i found that the focus is not going inside the Button Click Event function.
When i click the button the debugger will again start with page load.
Is there any Autofocus for Button.
Please help me to resolve my problem.
Thanks :)
I think that you're confused about what happens on the client (within the browser) and what happens on the server (in your ASP.NET code).
Most events on server-side controls, like the ASP.NET button, are handled server-side, through a mechanism called postback. The generated code on the browser causes a form submit to the Web server, where the page and its controls are re-created. The form data is parsed and the button control generates (in your case) a Click event for your server-side code. This code regenerates a new HTML page which will replace the old one.
Fortunately for you in this case, the ASP.NET button has a property "OnClientClick" where you can insert JavaScript code to do whatever you want (like change the label text) directly in the browser.
See MSDN for the docs on the property and an example of using both Click and OnClientClick.
Note that this is not related to SharePoint, this is a pure ASP.NET issue.
