Layout code for Facebook feed content - android-layout

I would like to display the Graph API output for the Facebook Feed using the Facebook style, as it appears on the web and mobile app. Is there available reference code/layouts for this? Thanks!

OK. If your requirement is about the Layout and Desing that looks in Facebook sdk/ app then you must have to made such type of design for yours.
There is nothing like to develope such type of layout. Yes there are some Demo example that can be useful to develop such type of UI integration.
So hope you got the point.
For any query comment here.
Enjoy Coding. :)

ANDROID: Implement Google Maps direction in my app

I would like to add to an app the directions from the Google maps as seen bellow, but the information to come from the google maps when I am starting the navigation (a route on the main Maps App. Would that be possible? And if yes, where would I start?
EDIT: This post describes better the issue I'm having, and it even provides a Kotlin library that can be used.
You can use Mapbox API for Navigation. It's a very great library to use.
Check this tutorial for implementation.
Check the example that you want exactly.
Basic UI Navigation Example
BETA => Turn-by-turn navigation
This can be solved using the notification Listener Service. There is a Kotlin library that can be used.

Using MasterDetail Sample along with Hamburger Template in Template 10

Has anyone used masterdetail sample of template 10?If yes can you please explain it properly and step by step for a novice or give the link to your code (comments included for explaination) .I have just started developing uwp apps and template 10 is good and using hamburger template and would like a masterdetail page in that. From what i can understand that there are two implementation but how to implement that in my app i cannot understand how to do it.Is there any tutorial availabe for that?
correct first implementation is using Visual States only
second implementation is using a control someone in the community is creating.
The switcher button shows 2 implementations.. By far the first implementation is so much easier to get started with and work other features in like using a SemanticZoom for example.
No tuts just the samples. They are really easiest examples out there...

How can I programmatically show the select device dialog?

I am using the Cast Companion Library and most of it is working well however I have not been able to figure out how to show the device chooser programmatically.
Basically when a user chooses a video on my app I would like to show the chooser if they haven't yet connected.
Thanks.
If you are using the MediaRouteButton and it's accessible:
mediaRouteButton.performClick();
you need to "Developing a custom UI with the MediaRouter API’s and MediaRouter.Callback" but I didn't find any example how to do it .
First, I suggest you do not do that. I don't know what you are planning to do in your app so I can't say much but don't do something custom in terms of user interaction/flow that is different from other apps and the apps offered by the framework; people will not expect that.
On the technical side, if you want to open the standard dialog, I am not aware of any trick but I haven't looked at the MediaRouter code in v7 support library for that; since that is open source, you are welcome to look in there and see if there is any simple way to do that. If you want to design your custom one, you should be able to do that; the CastCompanionLibrary provides a sample of the Callback dialog and the one for chooser follows a similar pattern.
As a side note, you mentioned you want to open the chooser when user selects a movie. So how can they select to play locally? Are you planning to add additional selection to that dialog for local playback?

Integrating Eventbrite with Expression Engine

Has anyone has done Eventbrite integration with an Expression Engine site? We'd like to set up events with Eventbrite and have them handle all ticket management. But we'd like to be able to display the events within the Expression Engine site and then enable users to click on the link to be redirected to Eventbrite. I've viewed the API and it looks like we can create custom EE pages with the API.
More importantly I'd like to let users search for events from our main site.
Has anyone done this type of work and have any hints or resources?
Thanks.
Todd Perkins got started on a module for this some time ago, but there hasn't been any action on it since then. Could be a good starting point for you though.
https://github.com/toddperkins/eventbrite
Eventbrite has a great PHP-based API client library that should be able cover all of your API interaction needs.
These PHP examples might be useful as well:

http://eventbrite.github.com/#examples
Please let #EventbriteAPI know if you make any major progress on this project. I'm sure they would love to add an Expression Engine integration to their open source projects list and application showcase!

Reviewing a website

Hi
I'm looking for a tool (free/paid) like a program that help me in reviewing my website style and interface such as explain the content of the home page (footer, header ..... ) taking snapshots and write comment on them ... I know this can be done using (print screen) and the MS paint but I need a more professional tool to use .
thank you in advance
I'm not sure if I understand well, but conceptshare may be the tool you looking for.
There's a firefox extension called Screengrab that can capture an entire page. You could add annotations to that quite easily in a DTP tool.
I'm not sure about the type of review you're looking for.
If you want to have people using the website and giving you their feedback in terms of navigation, layout, design and content, you can use a www.usertesting.com services.
They'll enroll users to test out the website and them give you a URl to review a video/audio recording of each user test. It's a great way to validate your website.
Hope this is what you were looking for...
