'Checkline' validation error while Perforce submit - perforce

I am trying to add image files in my perforce depot. These files are adding properly using :
p4 add
But getting checkline validation error while p4 submit:
'CheckLine' validation failed:
Your submission has been rejected because the following files
have line ending errors
Not getting what is going wrong.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Perhaps 'CheckLine' is a trigger that your administrator has installed in your server; if that is so, your administrator can help you understand what local policy your submit is not adhering to.

Problems Deploying Node App With Render.com

I would like to post a simple stripe integration on render. I apologize in advance for my ignorance on the topic but, since I'm more front-end oriented, it's the first time I've attempted to do such a thing so I would like to ask you
if the repository https://github.com/Luca-Liseros-Ferrari/stripe-example.git is ready to be published, if there is some error that can cause the deploy to fail or if some preliminary operation is required (in the server folder I also have an .env file with the stripe keys and I specified STATIC_DIR = "../client/")
In render.com after clicking on "new" - "web service" and connecting the github repository and considering that from the terminal I start the server.js with the following commands:
cd server
node server.js
how should I fill in the "root directory", "build command" and "start command" fields since it's still not clear to me? Is the root directory the folder that contains the server.js file inside? In my case it would be for example "folderName/server" or simply "server"?
I tried to upload the repository to render but i get the following error message
Failed - Exited with status 1 while running your code.
It also tells me "error cannot find module express"
then I reinstalled express in server folder with npm install express and verified it was already installed. I therefore believe that there is a path error in the phase in which I create the web service.
error snippet
I hope I have provided enough data and I thank anyone who is willing to give me a hand in advance
I solved the problem. I had to specify in render.com in advanced the key - value pairs of my .env file
I noticed it thanks to the Cyclic app which, after loading the repository, warned me that if the app doesn't work it could be because of that
I hope it will help someone

Broadleaf - running locally - problem getting started the API project

I'm trying to run Heat Clinic 6.0.1 locally following getting started tutorial: https://www.broadleafcommerce.com/docs/core/current/getting-started/running-locally
I managed to run admin and site but not the API project. The application starts without problems but when I go to http://localhost:8082/api/v1/swagger-ui.html I get a 404. In the log I see this exception:
javax.servlet.ServletException: Circular view path [error]: would dispatch back to the current handler URL [/error] again. Check your ViewResolver setup! (Hint: This may be the result of an unspecified view, due to default view name generation.)
Also trying to log in directly in the API with user broadleafapi and password gives 404.
My environment: Windows 10, jdk 8, maven 3.6
What's wrong? Can you help me? Thank you
Thanks for the report. I reproduced this and it looks like that with the update to Spring Boot 2.0, we did not appropriately override the updated property that specifies the servlet location to embedded Tomcat. Thus, when you went to /api/v1/swagger-ui.html, the application treats it exactly like that URL which is what gave the 404.
Setting the server.servlet.contextPath=/api/v1 property appropriately stripped off this path as part of the servlet context and resolved the 404.
I tested around a bit and was able to 'Authorize' the app (button at the top right of the Swagger page) with the credentials information that get spit out in the logs:
Basic auth configured with user broadleafapi and password: <<generated>>
then I was able to hit the API endpoints.
The changes you will need to make locally in your project to consume the fix are at https://github.com/BroadleafCommerce/DemoSite/commit/422d1cdc37f847afd8bec0be477ab784cbad2e9d#diff-991c59b6dbb0f619b8570d8f8779eaddR11. You will notice that I moved the original definition in default.properties over to common.properties and I recommend that you do the same. To be clear, follow these steps:
Delete the server.servlet.contextPath entry in `api/src/main/resources/runtime-properties/default.properties
Change server.servletPath in api/src/main/resources/runtime-properties/common.properties to server.servlet.contextPath
Thanks for trying out Broadleaf and the report, sorry for the rough early start!

svn user defined config update

I have the following setup on a linux box in user home directory:
./svn.simple/hash#1
./svn.simple/hash#2
==
hash#1 points to an old server: oldserver.com
hash#2 points to current server. currserver.com
I need to alter the default server location for specific user to a new server. Apologies if terminology is off. How do I go about this? I investigate --relocate, but that seems for a specific working copy. All commands are run at the command line.
A simple checkout from the new repository prompts if config is desired to be saved. If the response is 'yes' a new entry is added to ./svn.simple, saving all required config parameters.

Error upon customization publishing only when logged out

Can someone explain why this error occurs every time I have to log back in after a customization is published?
If I delete the Acumatica instance and re-create it, linking to the existing database - it then works fine. If it times out and I have to log in again, I get this error:
Description: An error occurred during the compilation of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific error details and modify your source code appropriately.
Compiler Error Message: CS0117: 'PX.Data.PXLogin' does not contain a definition for 'EulaRequired'
Source Error:
Line 633: username :
Line 634: string.Format("{0}#{1}", username, company);
Line 635: if (username == "admin" && PXLogin.EulaRequired(fullname))
Line 636: {
Line 637: PXContext.Session.SetString("EulaRequired", fullname);
In your customization, are you including any of the PX*.dll libraries? If so you might be replacing the correct version needed for your site. Make sure the only dll file ins your customization are those that you created.
I'm not sure what was causing this, but I've deleted the instance of Acumatica, removed all my class library references in the customization project and started over. This seems to have solved the problem.

no such repository on migrating to a new cvs server

I am moving from cvsserv1 to cvsserv2. I am running cvs1.11 on current server on RHEL. I am moving to cvsserv2 which is running ubuntu 12. This is my procedure to port cvs:
zip entire repository on cvsserv1
move zip to cvsserv2
extract zip to /home/users on cvsserv2.
setup cvs service on cvsserve2 in pserver mode.
initialize repository on /home/users/cvsroot by using "cvs -d /home/users/cvsroot init"
connect to cvsserv2 from eclipse using anonymous access to do a test checkout.
I am failing on step6 with the error message "no such repository". What am I doing wrong?
UPDATE
I tried to change the above method, by adopting this http://mazanatti.info/archives/67/ and I was partially successful.
At step 3 (as in that link), after initializing repo on cvsserv2, I copied my repository to /var/lib/cvsd/project1, overwriting CVSROOT folder. Now, after finishing all steps, I was able to connect successfully. However, when I try to check out, I don't see any branches. When I tried to Refresh Tags, I receive the following error:
What is going wrong?
Ok. I figured this one out. For those who might encounter this issue again, here's how I managed to identify and fix it:
Eclipse's cvs client sucks - it doesn't give you much information. (I could be wrong, may be it writes some debug info to eclipse log file - still, I think that error message should have been more descriptive). Anyway, I obtained TortoiseCVS and attempted a checkout and it failed with an error message on the lines of -"failed to obtain dir lock in repository `/home/cvsroot/foo'. This is not the exact message, but it was something like that.
So, all I had to do, was go into my cvs dump from cvsserv1, look for references to that directory (which is a valid path on cvsserv1 but not cvsserv2). I found a reference to it in config file under CVSROOT folder. It was assigned to a property called LockDir. This property was referring to a /home/cvsroot/foo on the older server as a lock directory. All I had to do was comment out this property and restart cvsd. Everything started working just fine after this!
