Where can I download JRE 7u5 plugin for any browser? - security

I was looking for a good exploit to use as my final project for security class so I though for JRE 7u5 bug to exploit using Metasploit.
Where I can download that version of plugin for FireFox/IE/Chrome, for whatever browser?
I Googled for hours now and I can't find a link =?

While the older downloads are not listed any more, I think you'll find that they follow a well-defined naming pattern. For example, look at the download links on this page and modify as needed:

Not sure about Chrome, but I believe installing JRE on Windows adds it as browser plug-in for IE and Firefox. If not, follow these instructions.

Install custom plugin on Google Ghrome Ubuntu 14.04

I've got a problem while trying to install rutoken plugin for Google Chrome v. 40.0.2214.115 (64-bit) on Ubuntu 14.04.
That's what I try:
Download plugin from http://www.rutoken.ru/support/download/rutoken-plugin/ and unpack files, so I had librtpkcs11ecp.so, npCryptoPlugin.so files.
Create a directory for plugins, in the Google Chrome's installation directory.
sudo mkdir /opt/google/chrome/plugins
Copy *.so files to the plugins directory.
Then I've restarted Chrome:
google-chrome -–enable-plugins
The problem is that when I run chrome://plugins/ there is no such plugin in a list.

NPAPI support by Chrome
The Java plug-in for web browsers relies on the cross platform plugin architecture NPAPI, which has long been, and currently is, supported by all major web browsers. Google announced in September 2013 plans to remove NPAPI support from Chrome by "the end of 2014", thus effectively dropping support for Silverlight, Java, Facebook Video and other similar NPAPI based plugins. How do I open android projects using emacs ede

The emacs documentation http://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/manual/html_mono/ede.html#Android-projects mentions that global-ede-mode supports android projects.
It mentions a function to declare the android sdk location, which I cannot find in emacs.
It also mentions that ede includes tools to interface with android tools, such as build and run emulators. These tools I cannot find either.
Has anybody had any luck using emacs built in ede mode to access android projects?
Currently running lubuntu 14.04 with emacs 24.3.1
The Android support for EDE is part of the CEDET project at http://cedet.sf.net, but that part wasn't included during the last merge from the CEDET repository into Emacs. Apparently that support wasn't removed form the manual. :)
If you download the sources from bzr, you will discover lisp/cedet/cedet-android.el, and lisp/cedet/ede/android.el which is the the support you found described in the manual.
In theory, you might be able to pull those two files down from bzr and just add to your own lisp repository, though it is always safest to download the entirety of the CEDET code and use it's install mechanism to ensure everything works correctly.
Once installed, you will find that the Development menu as project and target options that list things like starting up the debugger, or easily navigating between different .xml sources and your java source.

JavaFX missing from JDK 1.7/1.8 in Linux?

I have a problem that allegedly isn't possible, so I'm having a heck of a time finding an answer.
I have the latest version of NetBeans 7.4, running on fully-updated Fedora 20 x64. Officially, this can work with JavaFX. Period. I have both the JDK from the repo (1.7.something) and the very latest version I could find (1.8.0). Officially, these have JavaFX with them. Period.
If I try to create a new JavaFX project, it has this to say:
Failed to automatically set-up a JavaFX Platform.
Please go to Platform Manager, create a non-default Java SE platform, then go to the JavaFX tab,
enable JavaFX and fill in the paths to valid JavaFX SDK and JavaFX Runtime.
Note: JavaFX SDK can be downloaded from JavaFX website.
Well alright, I'm used to things getting confused, I think I can fix this. Go create a new platform, and... there's no "JavaFX" tab. It took a bit of research to even find out what it was talking about, and in the process I discovered that the tab has actually been removed from 7.4. Because NetBeans 7.4 will absolutely, definitely recognize JavaFX automatically. Period.
Going to the actual JavaFX site tells me, as expected, that it's bundled with the Java SE 7 JDK I already have. Period.
Since the end result I'm after could technically be achieved by integrating one JavaFX component into my Swing application, I attempted that, but NetBeans still can not find anything related to JavaFX and therefore yells at me if I try to import such a thing.
So, given that things that are supposed to just plain work just plain aren't... where can I go from here?
Currently in Debian and Ubuntu (probably others) JavaFX is a separate package from the OpenJDK (openjdk-8-jdk) and so needs to be installed:
sudo apt-get install libopenjfx-java libopenjfx-java-doc
Notable issue (this issue does not impact a Maven, JavaFX application so if that is your preferred build method then ignore the following issue):

To fix the above error [following steps are derived from here: http://hongouru.blogspot.com.uy/2015/09/solved-error-building-new-project-using.html]:
Switch to the files tab (usually you're on the Project tab).
Expand the node for your project >
expand the nbproject node > open the "project.properties" file.
Find the line javafx.deploy.includeDT=true and change true to false.
Now you can create and run a JavaFX application, on OpenJDK.

Apparently, the issue is indeed a discrepancy between the open-source OpenJDK provided by most Linux distributions, and the proprietary Oracle JDK. Ironically, this is a well-known issue, but you have to specifically search for it to find it, and by then you already know.
The solution is to download the official Oracle JDK, and if necessary create the matching platform in NetBeans (located under /usr/java/jdk... at this moment). It should work perfectly fine after that.

Various versions of chrome on linux

I'm looking for the way to conduct cross-browser compatibility test on my ubuntu. Firefox and opera don't cause problems, but I didn't find any guide how to install older versions of chrome. Do you know how to check my code in this browser on my computer?
You can take screenshots in different versions in Browserstack. Also you can browse there using different browsers, but you will need to pay for that.
In general, there is no need to test compatibility against anything but the latest version of Chrome, since Chrome updates itself automatically. Just expect that anyone using Chrome to view your site will have the latest version.

As for special NodeJs projects, there's no notion of that. You would likely just create a normal Web project. We do have the concept of libraries that you can add to a project, wherein you could point to js files/libs for NodeJS. We also has special syntax files for describing JS libraries/APIs so it can be integrated into our content assist. A good example might be the ruble we have for jQuery which contains that file for two versions of the jQuery API. Here's the 1.6.2 version: https://github.com/aptana/javascript-jquery.ruble/blob/master/support/jquery.1.6.2.sdocml The bundle.rb up in the parent directory hooks up the file in the ruble/bundle.
My guess is that creating an analogous NodeJS ruble and building up an sdocml (xml) file that described the API would be the easiest way to get started. I highly recommend using Sublime Text 2.
There are a few nodejs plugins as well as v8 javascript [Sublime v8] and standard ECMA-262.
This is not a direct answer to your question, but if you're looking for a good IDE for node.js, you should definitely try Microsoft WebMatrix 2. It basically does what you requested to do.
I was fed up of fighting with Aptana Studio and plugins and all this stuff... until I found out Sublime Text. Simple and wonderful.
