I tried to compile the groovy quickstart example which comes with gradle (in samples/groovy/quickstart directory). gradle compileGroovy and gradle jar both complete successfuly, but I cannot run any of these:
c:\tmp\quickstart\build\classes\main\org\gradle>java Person

and
c:\tmp\quickstart\build\libs>java -jar quickstart.jar
Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute from

i then added manifest attribute to bulid.gradle:
jar {
manifest {
attributes("Main-Class": "org.gradle.Person")

}
and now am getting:

Could not find the main class: org.gradle.Person. Program will exit.
How can I run the jar that was created? (or am I missing the whole point...)
The groovy/quickstart sample in the Gradle distribution is not meant to be executed directly. Among other things, the Person class does not have a main method. Think of it as a library.

I forked the thingsboard directory. Then I followed the instructions on the site:
https://thingsboard.io/docs/user-guide/contribution/how-to-contribute/
My configuration:
.Ubuntu 16.04
.openjdk version "1.8.0_151"
.javac 1.8.0_151
.Apache Maven 3.3.9
.Node v8.0.0
.npm 5.6.0
I entered the command lines:
mvn clean install -DskipTests
cd ${TB_WORK_DIR}/application/target/bin/install
chmod +x install_dev_db.sh
./install_dev_db.sh
I get the following message:

I am running a Jupyter Notebook (Jupyter 1.0.0) with Spark (Spark 2.1.0) and am successfully able to run Pyspark code. But when I launch two notebooks that are located under same directory as shown below:
notebooks
|__ Notebook1
|__ Notebook2
and launch Notebook1 and then launch Notebook2, Notebook1 launches and works successfully but the Notebook2 does not launch successfully due to Spark Context initiation errors. It looks like it is something to do with the spark metastore.
Below is the stack trace from Spark:

It looks like your issue may be with Derby, Sparks default database for storing its instructions to itself. Derby can only be used by one entity at a time, So starting a second Notebook confuses it. I ran into this problem myself, and solved it by connecting Spark to Postgres instead.
Check out this answer and see if it works for you:

Looks like an invalid TLD. What version of Mojarra are you using? This is possibly this bug.
JBoss 6 ships with a version of JSF 2 in the container (this is a requirement of the Java EE 6 Web Profile.) You should be able to delete any jsf-api and jsf-impl jars within your WAR.
