How to load my silverlight user control step by step? - multithreading

how can i load my silverlight user control step by step? what we can see is one completes, after 1 second the other starts.... Thanks very much if can provide a demo.

Can you use a TransitionControl like this: http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#TransitionControl/FirstLook
Then you can manually set a timer in code behind to switch the content every second or so?

How to attach the screenshot to each step in ExtentReport?

I'm trying to use ExtentReport with Cucumber v4. I'm able to generate the execution report at the end of the test case, including the proper step list (for all steps that were executed) with their screenshots.
However, although the screenshots are properly generated, the link that ties the step with its respective screenshot seems to be broken (when clicking on it, nothing happens).
Any ideas of what should I try?
Thanks in advance!

Blue Prism: Object not found when ran using Control Center, but runs without issue through Process Studio

During my process there is a drop-down html element that I have spied and set correctly. I run through the Object and Process studio without any issues. Once the same process is ran through the Control Room the element throws and error that it cannot be found.
I have tried multiple different configurations without any luck and the element is still found without issue when ran manually. I even checked by signing into the VM having it error and on the second retry had the VM up; at this stage the element was found without issue. It seems to only be when the bot is running and the screen is not up. No other elements give this issue and the next step is the same dropdown, but for a stop time not start.
Any help would be appreciated!
I have added pics of the STARTSPIED - START and ENDSPIED - END spied configs, the Navigation Stage, and the process correctly running in the Object Studio OB Studio correct.
Thank you!
For the person who down-voted this item...Configs here are my two days of config changes and research that I tried on my own before asking for help. This is my 5th automation that I have put into deployment without help, so thank you for down-voting someone trying to get help where they are stuck.
Your problem is most likely connected with the fact that processes run in the control room are executed much faster than in studio and your webpage might not be loaded on time (that would explain why it works after retry).
Best practice approach would be to add a dynamic wait stage after attach and use “Parent Document Loaded” option on the element you want to interact with. It will wait for the page to be loaded and then check exist for the element. I would also suggest splitting your action into two, first to set start date and second for end date.

How to set virtual users in load runner in HP ALM 12.05

I have one VuGen script(recorded script) which i need to execute with Virtual users. Currently i am able to import it and also found play button (after several attempts). But the problem is where should i need to mention the Virtual user number.
Provide some tutorial/ link for the latest ALM
Have a look at the default edit view for your test, the "Groups and Workload" tab in the Performance Test Designer window.
If you already added your script, you will find an entry for it in the "Groups" grid.
In that grid there's also a column for "Vusers". For yor script the value will be set to 1 by default. If you want to increase that number, just double-click on the grid to edit the value. Suprisingly, you won't that option in the script's Runtime Settings or any other dialog.
Best training site would be youtube :), as for how to add X amount of users, this is done in the controller, there you can schedule when the users start running, if all at once or every 1, 2, 3 minutes etc.
There are also companies that offer training when needed and help you with script development, google for iDeliver inc ;).

waiting for the website to change something

I am a student and in the school website, what I want to do is that I want to busy wait on the certain URL and check if the class i want to register for is open or not. I was wondering if there was a way to constantly check on the website(busy waiting or otherwise) to see if the class is open or not. There is a table Rem where it shows the number of places remaining in the User Interface.
Also what language would you use to solve this problem?
Yes you can. but for that you will probably need to create a script that fetches the value of data from that table.
So something like web scraping should work.
I would definately use php for this stuff.
Google web scraping and you can code the script.
I am not sure if this is the exact thing that will help you, but what you need to do is something similar - See Here

Web scraping from a Google Chrome extension

I've started to develop a Chrome extension to navigate and perform actions on a website. Until now the extension is able to receive a couple of parameters and check a set of radio-buttons, fill in a few inputs of a form and then submit it.
What I want to do now is to repeat the process, but I'm stuck when the page is reloaded. And I don't know how can I do to make the script react to the finish of the request.
The workflow I want to achieve is the following (is for automatically copying a certain object):
Popup side
Enter the number of the Master object to copy
Enter the base name of the copies (example Mod, so the I can iterate and add mod1, mod2, modn)
Enter the number of copies
Background side
Select master
Select standard options
Fill in inputs
Submit form
Wait for the page to complete the request and continue to the next copy. (here I need help)
The problem is on the repetition, the rest is taking care of. I assume that must be a way of dealing with requests. Any ideas?
By the way I'm doing it all with the extension and tabs methods of Google Chrome plus JavaScript and jQuery.
Ok, i´m going to answer the question myself based on Matthew Getner´s comment. The chrome.webRequest.onCompleted was the solution to the problem. With this method I was able to wait for the request to be completed and start over with the process. And with the messegaes methods I´ve achieved the comunication between the background and the extension itself. So I finally was able to filled a form, send it, and repeat. This way I´ve made a kind of robot to help a co-worker with a lame repetitive task on a aged web plataform.
