I have posted an application that send scheduled SMSs to OVI store ,but QA reject the application claiming that the application can't send any SMSs and it works fine when launching the application only with the .jar file.
Any Ideas how can I solve the problem.
All I wanted to do is to declare one more permission in order to obtain the permission to send SMS when the application is signed:
javax.wireless.messaging.sms.send

I'm trying to connect to the sandbox version of Evernote. I get an error 8 every time I call userStore.authenticate(), on the field "consumerKey." This happens with either of the two keys Evernote has sent me in email.
Any tips on how to debug this problem? Thanks!
Are you using UserStore.authenticateToLongSession? It's not available to third party developers. You have to go through the OAuth flow to authenticate to the service. See this section.
I am following this Echo Bot Tutorial, and have gone through all of the basic steps regarding setup and registration. I am following the steps (near the bottom) regarding local testing, and have been using ngrok successfully.
I was able to add my Skype Bot as a contact, and I also have the latest version of the Skype app (Mac). When I send a message to the bot via the Skype app, I see the message appear in the debug notes in my terminal window. So I know that the messages I type are coming through.
I also see this:
skype-sdk.MessagingServiceClientV2 Sending message to 8:username with content Hey 8:username. Thank you for your message: "test".
However, I do not see any kind of reply in my Skype application. My expectation is that the bot would echo back my message to me.
My questions are:
1) When testing locally using the ngrok method described in the tutorial, should I be able to see activity from the Skype bot (in terms of messages to me)?
2) I am guessing this may be some an authentication issue? How can I best troubleshoot things, and get the Skype bot to actually respond in the Skype app?
I feel like I am incredibly close to getting this working, in that the messages I send are coming through... but the messages I expect from the Skype bot are not coming through. Any help or ideas greatly appreciated!
Found the fix, and posting it here should anyone else run into the same issue.
During the setup process, when I was using the Application Registration Portal, I selected the wrong string as my Application Secret.
Originally, I clicked on Generate New Key Pair, which resulted in a new entry appearing in the admin labeled Private Key. I used this string as my App Secret.
However, it appears that what I should have done was click on Generate New Password and used *that string instead**. Just gave it a try, and my bot is now responding back to me locally (in the Skype app), when testing with ngrok.
I think this particular distinction could have been made clearer in the documentation, as I lost a great deal of time due to this one oversight. Oh well, at least I can start developing now...
I tried to execute gmail api's watch on my two gmail accounts and it works fine.
But when the other user tried to do so, it shows this error:
HTTP error 400 : "Only one user push notification client allowed per developer (call /stop then try again)">
I don't know if the problem is on the pub/sub client configuration or doing stop and watch will resolve the problem?
Can someone explain the meaning of this statement "Only one user push notification client allowed per developer"?
Try using a different project for the Cloud Pub/Sub topic that the other user wants to set up a Gmail API watch on.
You can always renew a watch by first stopping the watch and then immediately initiating a new watch right after. So, try to use users.stop once before you use users.watch.
I have encountered a similar issue. Although this might not be helpful to the OP, for me the solution was to abandon Google's Pub/Sub and use IMAP IDLE instead, which is much better suited for OP's use case of monitoring several inboxes.
I am developing Windows phone application using VS 2013. In this I want to send email from some app pages like contact support page.
I have tried the c# working code from a windows console app. But 'Mailmessage' keyword is not supported in windows phone app development .
I have tried 'EmailManager.ShowComposeNewEmailAsync(mail);' code from Send email from windows phone 8.1.
That is result in opening mail messanger app available in the devices/emulator. I don't want the mail messenger app to open. Instead I want send to email through only code...
How can I achieve this?
Any help/suggestion would be appreciated
You cannot send email without showing the email application to the user. Also, the user might have many emails so he needs to decide from which the message should be sent.
What you can do is send whatever you want to send by email to a server (for example using HttpWebRequest) and from there send the email.
You can send the message without displaying a standard message box.
The user should monitor the sent message.
This is a safety feature for Windows Phone.
Only use ShowComposeNewEmailAsync.
To send mail using SMTP in Windows Phone you can make use of MailMessage for WP8 & WP7.
It's not a free package, but you can make you use of it's free version.
It's free license never expires, but opens a popup message and add a sponsor string to both object and body.

First, I work with Xamarin.Forms.
As the (other) question to Xamarin.Forms is marked as "duplicate" of this question, I post my answer here.
I also think, it's not possible (and also would not be nice), if Emails would be set in the background (without user interaction).
Therefore, I let the users send EMail's over the device-object in my app:
Device.OpenUri(new Uri("mailto:" + oFreizeitDetails.cPAB_Mailadresse));
where "oFreizeitDetails.cPAB_Mailadresse" contains the mail-address as string.
This works, if a mail-client is installed on the device.
The mail-client then pops up, the target mail-address is prefilled and the user can finish the mail (add body-text, e.t.c.) and then send it.
There were some problems with the WP implementation in XF some time ago, but now (I work with XF 1.4.4 and WP 8.1), it also works with WP.
Does anyone know how to send an SMS from the xcode application without using the UI?
I mean I want the SMS to be sent internally from the application. I have seen an app that has this feature.
I have alarm system, the alarm only receive SMS nothing else, I need the user to see the alarm name that is easy, but I want the user to choose the alarm name and control it (close, open) and I need to send command by SMS that the issue, the user should not see the alarm number neither the content which is the command text if you can help me that I will pay anyone that can help me with this.
I'm developing on iOS version 4.2.
no there is no way to do it in background , you have to call the GUI unless you create your api that ask for no & send sms from server.
