Can someone please explain to me how can I sign a CAB file?
I'm trying to install the CAB file with the wceload.exe tool but it works only with signed CAB.
There's an MSDN section specifically for CAB signing. The exact process depends on the certificate authority you want for it - meaning you can send it to someone like Verisign and get it signed, or you can self sign it and distribute your own certificate with it.

I'm working on a project that involves the development of an add-in for outlook the web for the purpose of sending secure email.
I have a few requirements for this add-in:
It must be able to have access to smart card reader and read certificates from it.
It must be able to sign and encrypt mail using S/MIME
Ideally, should also work on mobile (e.g. iPhone, Andriod).
From my current research, I understand that there are some restrictions regarding add-ins for Outlook. The main one being it won't be activated for encrypted mail... But I have noticed that some people are able to work around this limitation.
Hoping to get some promising leads from the experts here.
Thanks!
Currently add-ins are not supported on S/MIME encrypted messages and are not available for mobile compose scenarios. We track Outlook add-in feature requests on ourĀ user-voice page. Please add your request there. Feature requests on user-voice are considered when we go through our planning process.
Can someone guide me how do I register for NDC exam, I have gone through https://foundation.nodejs.org/resources/certification webpage and it always points to a googlegoogle form Register forEarly Access!
I am a bit confused from where shall I register to appear for the certification ?
I noticed that the certification program will be available from mid of 2019.
"We anticipate the program being available mid-2019."
We would like to distribute our new windows software on the internet (exe file).
What are the benefits of getting an authenticode code signing certificate?
Thanks
You can enroll in the Windows Error Reporting process and get crash reports, which is nice. Having your executable signed (and/or your installer) will prevent some of the "untrusted code" warnings that can be scary for users, and reduce the odds that you'll trip Microsoft's "this may be dangerous" checks.

It is a good idea to formulate your question besides describing what you want.
You need to buy code signing certificate from one of certificate authorities (we use GlobalSign as their certificate can be used for driver signing) and sign your compiled application using signtool (included in Windows and .NET development kits).
I want to display photos stored in the phone , and I use the FileConnection and the openInputStream stuff. The problem is that there are many questions that I must accept when launching the program ; they are all about access to the file system or a particular file. So how to "skip" these questions , that is accept all of them programmatically, so they do not appear when launching the application ?
Basically this type of alerts asking for security purpose. Because you are using FileConnecion(JSR-75).
In this purpose, You have to signing your application with 3rd party providers like Verisign or Thrawte or Java Verified. It will be cost.
If you are facing this issue on the emulator, go to preferences and MIDP tab, set the application domain to Trusted and set permission as "Allow Always". For more info, see this MIDP 2.0's Security Architecture...
Signing sites are,
Thawte
Verisign
Java Verified
