I have the Resharper 6.1 Full Edition but my Decompile Sources option is grey out or not available in the Navigate To context menu... what should i do?
You should probably go to ReSharper > Options > Tools > External Sources and configure settings in this page the way that would allow decompiling - for example, select an option different than Default Visual Studio navigation

I am using AndroidStudio to build NDK based applications with C and C++ code.
The IDE goes overboard with warnings, like the one below:
How can I disable this and other gratuitous warnings from the IDE?
Is this done on a per-project base, or an IDE setting?
In any case, the deluge of warnings are not helping.
Ubuntu LTS
Android Studio 3.5
Native code built via gradle/cmake.
Release notes of Android Studio state:
Android Studio now includes support for static code analysis using
Clang-Tidy for projects that include native code. To enable support
for Clang-Tidy, update your NDK to r18 or higher. You can then enable
or re-enable the inspections by opening the Settings or Preferences
dialog and navigating to Editor > Inspections > C/C++ > General >
Clang-Tidy. When selecting this inspection in the Settings or
Preferences dialog, you can also see the list of Clang-Tidy checks
that are enabled and disabled under the Option section of the
right-most panel.
To disable the warnings just go to:
Preferences->Editor->Inspections->C/C++->General->Clang-tidy
and uncheck Clang-tidy or edit the list of checks to disable those that annoy you.
It used to work well. But recently I upgraded my Android Studio to 2.3 and I find the hierarchy viewer disappears.I can't find it both in the sdk/tools directory and the Android Device Monitor.
Latest build tools (25.3.0) removes hierarchy viewer.

"The Layout Inspector available in Android Studio 2.2 is an early release. It's a work in progress that will supersede the Hierarchy Viewer tool once it is feature complete. For now, it provides a quick solution to inspect the view properties of your layout without leaving the IDE. " I find it in http://tools.android.com/tech-docs/layout-inspector.
According to it the Hierarchy Viewer is removed and we should use the layout inspector instead?
You can find it in the Android Studio with path
Tools > Android > Android Device Monitor > Window > Open perspective > Hierarchy View
You can refer this very detail post for more.
While trying to debug a JNI project, I see this image after choosing "run" > "edit configuration": According to NDK documents I should see and be able to choose between lldb and GDB. Does anyone know how to do this on the new Android Studio? I am asking because I do not see my break points in my native code. Here is what I have:
Try that:
Open the sdk manager (Tools->android->sdk manager) then go in the tab "SDK Tools" and there check "LLDB".
Then:
Make sure you have selected a native run configuration (The default one is called "app-native"
Make sure you have selected a "Debug" variant (Bottom left, click on variant and select a "Debug")
Launch in debug (not the "play" green triangle, but the small bug on its right side)
This works for me with Android Studio 2.0 Preview, Gradle 2.9 and experimental plugin 0.6.0-alpha1
I can't seem to access the Architecture Tools available in Visual Studio 2012 Premium Version 11.0.60610.01 Update 4 using .Net Version 4.5.50709
My only visible menu options on startup are:
FILE
EDIT
VIEW
DEBUG
TEAM
SQL
TOOLS
TEST
ANALYZE
WINDOW
HELP
And with a project open these two extra items appear:
PROJECT
BUILD
There is nothing under the any of the menus related to Architecture Tools except for
VIEW > Toolbars > Architecture Designers
The Architecture Designers toobar's buttons are all grayed out when enabled.
Do I need to do something extra after the Visual Studio 2012 install to make them show up?
Does it only work for certain types of projects (I am trying to make an MVC4 project)? Does it have to be enabled on a per-project basis?
Is there a difference between how the Architecture tools work in Premium vs Ultimate?
Isn't it only available in VS 2012 Ultimate? (which used to be called "Architecture Edition".)
I seem to be missing all of the cool CSS editor features that were in VS 2012 RC. For example, the color picker. Is it because I am using the evaluation version? Or is there a switch to turn them on in the release?
You need the "Web Essentials 2012" extension from "Tools > Extensions and Updates > Online > Visual Studio Gallery." A restart of VS2012 will be required.
Hope it helps!
