My midlet does not wake up on touching the screen, it does wake up on pressing some device button. To add more information, I am using Nokia 5230.

I am trying to Flash a custom firmware (Keymap) to a Bluetooth connected Phone Keyboard. Is this possible or does it have to be connected by usb?
The Keyboard is a Bluetooth only Keyboard. So that would be the only option.
Or are there alternatives?
I am developing a windows Phone application which is supposed to send audio signals to a circuitry. The circuit sends signals to another device on receiving the audio signal from windows phone. this works fine when connected to the audio jack of a laptop/pc, but windows phone does not detect this device to be a headset and it plays the audio signals through the loudspeaker. Is there any way to force the signals through the audio port?
I'm trying to get a "Selfie stick" to work on Windows Phone 8.1.
The Selfie stick is a HID device and is used as a keyboard, when the shutter button is pressed on the stick it sends an "Enter" keystroke to the connected device.
So far for the logic, the problem is that when I try to pair it with my phone it only stays connected for about 5-10 seconds and then disconnects.
I'm new to bluetooth coding and I read that some bluetooth profiles are not supported, is this true for HID keyboards as well?

As it is a keyboard, simply handle keyboard events such as KeyDown and check if it is Enter. No need to deal with Bluetooth yourself.
It could be a media key (volume up) as well.
Bluetooth keyboard should stay connected. Try upgrading to Windows 10 Mobile (Fall Creators Update) where more Bluetooth APIs are available.
If it keeps disconnecting, there is not much you can do.
I'm working on a Control Extension for Sony SmartWatch 2 that needs to update a TextView every second on the SW2 Display.
It happens that if I've my Smartphone connected via USB or when USB disconnected if I've my Smartphone screen active, the Control Extension works as expected on SmartWatch 2.
But soon my SmartPhone screen idles, the control extension stops the regular TextView updates. First starts breaking and eventually get stuck. The Extension is not closed by the Host Application and the SW2 continues well paired with the Smartphone. In fact if I touch the display, the Extension appears to recover state for some moments with a few TextView updates, but rapidly breaks and get stuck again.
Meanwhile, if I turn ON my Smartphone screen, the control extension recovers the state and resume the normal TextView updates.
It seems that when the smartphone idles it stops to send the regular bluetooth messages to the SW2. I've tried many solutions to avoid this behaviour, even set the keepRunningWhenConnected to true. But the behaviour is allways the same.
Is anyone also having this problem or have a clue for the solution?

What model of phone are you using?
If it is indeed that the bluetooth connection is not persisting then you could try the following possible solutions:
Is there a setting on the phone to keep bluetooth on even when going into idle?
You could set the phone to not go into idle while your app is running, of course this is not ideal as it will cause battery drain.
Ok. After testing and testing several solutions (AlarmManager, BluetoothAdapter, etc...) I came to following conclusion:
Its not the Bluetooth connection that is lost, otherwise the SmartWatch 2 would lost connection with the Smartphone, and that never happens. In fact is the Phone CPU that is lost by the ControlExtension, because when the Smartphone idles the CPU also idles. By loosing the Phone CPU the ControlExtension cannot process the "sendText(...)" call and this means that the corresponding upper call "sendHostApp(...)" that uses the Bluetooth messages its also never called, that's why the TextView is not updated on the SmartWatch 2.
Also I think that when I touch the SmartWatch 2 screen, this triggers an hardware interruption that wake up the Phone CPU for short seconds to answer to the SmartWatch 2 Touch Event and thats why when I touch the SW2 screen the TextView is updated a few times before get stuck again.
This works fine for static Control Extension applications that only display static content and/or replies to the user (touch, swipe, etc...) events. But its a complete disaster for Control Extensions applications that need to be doing some processing regardless the user direct interaction.
I never though in this terms because I though that it was the job of the SmartConnect Host Application to guarantee Phone CPU to the Control Extensions.
So the solution for some apps could be using an AlartManager in order to schedule wake up calls to do some processing. For other apps the solution could be the PowerManger and use a wakelock.aquire()/wakelock.release().
Is there a way to change flash players audio output device? if not, is there a swf player who has this possibility? Thanks!
I had an issue until a few minutes ago regarding this.
Two audio devices are available to my XP box: an iMic USB audio I/O device, in which I have permanently plugged my desktop speakers; and a pair of USB headphones with microphone that I plug in occasionally.
The USB headset would take precedence over the USB iMic for applications because apps appear to access the last device plugged in to a USB port. With this in mind, here was my issue:
I would be listening to some Internettings on my USB headset.
Later, I would want to use my desktop speakers for the Internettings.
This entailed unplugging my headset, shutting down Firefox and opening it up again. Because the desktop speakers are considered the most recently plugged in device, they would be default for plugins.
This is damned annoying, I said to myself, and decided a little hacker mode was in order.
Keeping Firefox open, I used Task Manager to kill the "plugin-container.exe" process. This showed a crash screen on any Flash Player applet in Firefox. Then I unplug the headset, and reload the Web page with the applet. Without restarting Firefox, Flash will then play through my desktop speakers.
If I wish to listen on the headset again, I plug the headset in, kill plugin-container.exe, and reload the page. Wham.
For as rare as I intend to switch audio devices, this will cover up part of the mess Adobe left.
I am 99% sure that setting the audio device used by the flash player is something you would need to do on an OS level. You can change the device that flash uses for microphone and video input from the player's settings, but I don't think you can change audio output.

I have been waiting for this for years.
I wanted to use this when my wife is seeing YouTube on her Chrome browser and me seeing anything like Coursera online MOOC lectures (FF) on the TV which is connected to the pc. I wanted to hear my classes on the headset and my wife on the speakers for YouTube.
I have 2 mouses (one for me, wireless) and have installed a neat program called TeamPlayer which gives multiple cursors (each cursor for each mouse).
So I have now literally the capability of 2 persons working on 1 pc.
And on top of that it works seamlessly with "Enounce Myspeed" for speeding up the video lectures' playback.
