I am trying to find the linux 2.4 kernel source code. It seems that it has been removed from the official download site and the mirrors. This may have been result of the kernel.org compromise but it would be nice to have access to historical kernel source. I have looked in the following directories on kernel.org and mirrors and found nothing:
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/Historic/
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.4/

Google gave me very quickly this uk mirror for linux 2.4
but please explain why you want such an old version. Are you sure to have the hardware to run it???

You can download the kernel of 2.4.x from this URL: http://eduunix.ccut.edu.cn/index2/mirrors/kernel3/linux/kernel/v2.4/

I am stuck in a problem of Linux suse and need help on the same. My problem is mentioned below.
As per my client requirement, I have to create a ghost dvd or image dvd of the Linux suse 11 operating system with the softwares installed and configuration in it. So, when user will enter the cd into there machine, first system will load SUSE and then will configure all the softwares without any human intervention.
So, whats is the process to create the same?
Thanks in advance
There are instructions on SuSE wiki:

The TeamViewer7 trial version is currently installed on my Ubuntu linux system. It has expired. How do I clear the registry. How do I change the settings 'For personal use' for the new install which I see in some of the urls which I have come across on the net. Please guide.
TeamViewer bundles its own version of Wine, so all you have to do is delete the directory you extracted it to. All its settings are kept in "teamviewer7/.wine".
Best way ist to BUY the full version of TeamViewer.

I've got default repositories which are pre built with Ubuntu
The best practice is to Upgrade Ubuntu to 12.04.
If you can't upgrade the OS, you're gonna have to compile vim from source. Follow the instructions here - enter link description here
You can also try to find another repo, but if you are not allowed to upgrade the OS, I doubt you are allowed to change the repo list...

wasn't too sure where to ask this. I am just trying to find which Linux OS's or past OS's had the Linux Kernel 2.6.32. Just need to know for compatibility issues with some modules I am working on.
Thanks in advance!
debian squeeze currently uses this kernel.

If it is, can someone provide me with a download link? I've been looking through google and through the couchbase website, and so far haven't found any reference to the dbx builds.
Couchbase is different from CouchDB, so if you can't use it in your shop (like me), CouchDBX is still available here:
http://dl.couchone.com/dl/384fe8cac77f981551a6632c020259a3/CouchDBX-1.0.2.0.zip
(Please don't take it down :-)
If you follow the link from CouchDBX page, you will land on Couchbase's site, where to find the OS X binary package under its new name, Couchbase Server Community Edition (direct link to download page).
This is were I got it, at least.
