How to delete certificate from Keychain Access? - ios4

When I try to delete certificate in Keychain Access I get following error
An error occurred while deleting "iPhone Destribution:***." cssmerr_dl_invalid_record_uid keychain
What is the problem?

In the Keychain Access menu is a Keychain First Aid item.
Perhaps it will fix the problem for you?
EDIT: As per comments, also try a system restart after using keychain first aid.

Intellij Android Studio opens localhost page to login on github

I am using android studio version 4.2 beta 3 and while I am using the GUI to push/fetch the studio prompts to login on github while I have already set an account.
The strange this is that I can use git on terminal but not on GUI.
I select the first option and my browser navigates me to a website that says to authorize in Github, I press the button, login on Github and then I get the following localhost page which needs some unknown credentials.
Do you have any ideas on how to fix this issue?
Thanks
This actually turns out to be an Android Studio bug.
See e.g. this and this reports
In the corresponding IntelliJ IDEA version it is working fine.
Log in using a token instead, as a workaround.
Unfortunately the issue still persists in android studios latest release but your workaround of Token works.
you have to Generate a new SSH key and adding it to the ssh-agent ,
you can find it there
My Github account is using the Single Sign-On from my organisation, so what worked for me was to go into Github settings -> SSH and GPG keys and then clicked on the button Configure SSO on my SSH key. Then click on "Authorize" for your organization.
Here's more details on how to do it https://docs.github.com/en/enterprise-cloud#latest/authentication/authenticating-with-saml-single-sign-on/authorizing-an-ssh-key-for-use-with-saml-single-sign-on
This works when you get the following error while checking your project out
Clone failed
ERROR: The `----' organization has enabled or enforced SAML SSO. To access
this repository, you must use the HTTPS remote with a personal access token
or SSH with an SSH key and passphrase
that has been authorized for this organization. Visit

How can I solve this issue "Cannot recover key" in Android Studio?

When I created a new key.jks I always get an error message that says
"Cannot recover key"
I made different keys but always get the same error. How can I solve that?
Thanks for your answers.
This is caused by "Key Password and/or Keystore Password Mis-matching". You have to supply both password correctly.

SourceTree: Keeps asking for a password to bitbucket.org

Can't connect to bitbucket.org from SourceTree. Keeps asking for password. Worked fine yesterday with the same project. Works from git command line
It's an issue with the newest version 1.6.24 downgrade to 1.6.23 to fix this
here is a link: http://downloads.atlassian.com/software/sourcetree/windows/SourceTreeSetup_1.6.23.exe
link to thread detailing issues:
https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/164023/password-not-working-on-sourcetree
I had a similar thing after an update; I tried re-adding my bitbucket credentials, changing the protocols, etc. with no luck, until...
I opened my keychain and searched for bitbucket under the Passwords category.
I found that I had multiple Access Keys for my user, so I closed my repository, deleted all the keys of "application password" Kind, opened the SourceTree preferences > Accounts > removed my account and re-added it (login as usual - I used Basic with HTTPS).
Keychain asks for permission to save the password, which I said yes and now I only see one key of the kind "application password".
I opened my repository from the repo browser and hey presto, no more password popups!
This bugged me for a whole week! If this helped you, you can do a little dance with me now :)

How to get Local development STS running

I am in need of help getting Local Development STS running. I just started with MSDN tutorials and got stuck when trying to build WCF service using WIF. So far I did following:
Installed "Identity and Access Tools" in my Visual Studio 2012
Created new WCF Service project in new solution
Right clicked projects name and selected "Identity and access..."
Selected "Use the Local Development STS" option on first tab and changed token
type to "SAML 2.0" on "Local Development STS" tab
Clicked "Ok"
I end up with following that informs me about problems with certificate:
I verified that the file is there physically.
I verified access to it - System, Administrators and my user have full access to it (only last option is unchecked)
I tried to install the certificate manually, but it is protected with password and I cant find it anywhere
I tried to toy around with "Identity and Access..." wizard
I tried to google the answer
I tried to check if I have certificate like that installed, there are tree Personal certificates in my Local Machine store, but I have no idea how to check their subject or whatever else
So far I wasn't successful. Could anyone advise how to fix the situation, so I can be sure I have proper certificate installed, I would be eternally grateful.
Erchi
Are you using the .NET 4.5 tutorials - WIF Code Sample Index?
To check the subject:
Start / Run / mmc
File / Add - Remove Snap In
Certificates - Add.
My User Account - Finish - OK
Expand the tree as required - double click on certificate - Details.

ColdFusion Admin Login and Password recovery

I recently took over the development of a CF site and am having some trouble obtaining the login and password to the Admin for CF. I was hoping another StackOverflower may haave some insight on obtaining access. We have access to the FTP and any other hosting related details. Any helpful insight will be greatly appreciated.
Open up the password.properties file which lies in <coldfusion install directory>\lib
You can see some encrypted string like
password=5BAA61E4C9B93F3F0682250B6CF8331B7EE68FD8
encrypted=true
Change it to clear text with encrypted=false
password=newPassword
encrypted=false
After that you can log in using newPassword and reset to a proper password in the CF Administrator.

I believe this also works for 6, 7,m and 9.
Building on what Ben said Simon Whatley has a great article outlining several different ways to accomplish this: http://www.simonwhatley.co.uk/resetting-a-lost-coldfusion-password really good stuff.
If you are running Coldfusion on a Mac or Linux all you need to do is:
On the terminal go to the bin directory of Coldfusion application
There is a password reset script: passwordreset.sh
running the script will ask you for a new password
Stop and Restart Coldfusion
I was going to suggest using the admin API to see if you could reset the password or even make a .car backup of the server settings in the event of a re-install.

For earlier versions, you can change a registry key, see details here : http://www.tek-tips.com/faqs.cfm?fid=3731
