Load content by id using Drupal6 Rules module - drupal-6

Would like to add files to a Drupal6 user's account based upon certain conditions (basically just upon new account creation). I want to use the Rules module to accomplish this but the conditional items don't seem to cover this action. Probably if you select the "Execute Custom PHP code" it is possible, but this out of my programming league. Any ideas welcome.

mmmm ok maybe u will find creating a new module is something difficult but its very easy..lets do it
1- go to /sites/all/modules
2- create new folder called when_user_login (lets called our new module when_user_login)
3- create inside this folder when_user_login.info include the following code
name = when user login
description = this module do something when user login
core = 6.x
4- now lets create a new file in the same directory called when_user_login.module include the following code
/**
* Implementation of hook_user().
* #see http://api.drupal.org/api/drupal/developer--hooks--core.php/function/hook_user/6
* for more details
*/
function when_user_login_user($op, &$edit, &$account, $category = NULL) {
switch($op){
case 'insert' :
// now any code we will write here will be implemented when new user register
// you can access the new user information by {$account} variable
// E.g $account->uid include the id of the new account that register
break ;
}
}
good luck...hop that will help you (don't forget to enable the module)

what is the best way to build multiple permission group on mongodb?

I started a complex project management application and I have the challenge of building resource permissions management for different types of user profiles.
My challenge is:
User story
John is an user with a common user profile.
John creates a project in the application.
John creates several tasks and adds them to the project.
John adds an user responsible for each task.
Added users must have access to the project and the tasks to which they have been added.
John creates a specific task and adds it as a subtask to one of the project's tasks.
In this subtask John adds an user as responsible, automatically that user must have access to the subtask, the task and the project.
And at any time, John can restrict access to a project resource, such as defining that a specific user can only view tasks
The way I started.
I created a specification pattern for each use case, where I inform the variables and it returns a true or false answer.
However, I have to request for each resource and, in my opinion, this is not performative.
What I mentioned is one of the simplest cases, there are others that are more complex.
canEditTaskOnProject(): boolean {
if (!this.project) {
console.error(
`Project not provided on ${TaskPermission.name}.${this.canEditTaskOnProject.name}`
);
return false;
}
return new ProjectLeader(this.project, this.userId)
.or(new Creator(this.task, this.userId))
.or(new FullAccessTaskPermission(this.project, this.userId))
.or(new TaskResponsible(this.task, this.userId))
.or(
new RestrictTaskPermission(this.project, this.userId).and(
new Creator(this.task, this.userId).or(
new TaskResponsible(this.task, this.userId)
)
)
)
.or(
new ReadAndWriteTaskPermission(this.project, this.userId).and(
new TaskResponsible(this.task, this.userId)
)
)
.isSatisfiedBy(this.userId);
}
I would very much like suggestions from experienced people who have already done something similar. I am a beginner in the area and in the company where I work, there are no seniors.
Thank you in advance!
I found the best way using casl:
import { defineAbility } from '#casl/ability';
export default defineAbility((can, cannot) => {
can('read', 'Article');
cannot('read', 'Article', { published: false }); // inverted rule
});

Navigating from Location to Workorder

I need to :
1. Create a single page location application
2. Display all the asset present in the selected location in a table
3. Provide a button from which user can navigate to WOTRACK to view all the workorder(s) created on selected location and its asset(s).
I am facing difficulty in the 3rd one. I have tried Launch in Context and it is working fine except am not able to pass sql query like 'location={location} and assetnum in ({asset.assetnum})'. I need to filter workorders with particular location and all its assets.
I tried to save all the assets in the location to a Non-persistant attribute and passing the values of the attribute in the Launch in context url, Its working as expected but to do so I have written a script on 'Initialize value' which is causing performance issues.
script goes like this:
from psdi.server import MXServer;
from psdi.mbo import MboConstants;
if app == "LOCATION1" :
if mbo.getString("LOCATION") is not None:
Locsite = mbo.getString("SITEID")
desc = mbo.getString("DESCRIPTION")
MaxuserSet = MXServer.getMXServer().getMboSet("MAXUSER", mbo.getUserInfo())
MaxuserSet.setWhere(" userid='"+user+"' ")
MaxuserSet.reset()
UserSite = MaxuserSet.getMbo(0).getString("DEFSITE")
if Locsite == UserSite:
AssetSet = mbo.getMboSet("ASSET")
AssetSet.setFlag(MboConstants.DISCARDABLE, True);
if not AssetSet.isEmpty():
AssetList = ""
AssetMbo = AssetSet.moveFirst()
while AssetMbo is not None:
AssetList = AssetList + str(AssetMbo.getString("ASSETNUM")) + "%2C"
AssetMbo = AssetSet.moveNext()
mbo.setValue("non-persitant",str(AssetList),11L)
and in the LIC url i have given : 'http://xx.x.x.xx/maximo/ui/?event=loadapp&value=wotrack&tabid=List&additionalevent=useqbe&additionaleventvalue=location={LOCATION}|assetnum={non-persistant}'
Is there any other feasible solution to the requirement?
Thanks in Advance
Launch In Context is better used for sending the user to an outside-of-Maximo application and passing along some data from inside-Maximo to provide context in that external app.
What you are doing sounds like a good place to use a workflow process with an Interaction node. The developer tells the Interaction node which app to take the user to and which Relationship to use to find the data the user should work with there.
Why don't you add a table control inside the table details (expanded table row) and show a list of the work orders there. From the WONUM in that table, you could have an app link to take them to WOTRACK, if they want more details about a particular work order. No customization (automation scripting) needed. No workflow needed. Nice and simple.

Kentico 10 - How do I update the username of an existing user?

Using a kentico 10 website with claims based authentication. We have the facility to update their email address in the external system. So what I want to do is update the user's email address and username by looking up based on the external userid from our sso platform.
var existingUser = UserInfoProvider.GetUsers().Where("ExternalGuid", QueryOperator.Equals, userId).FirstOrDefault();
if (existingUser.IsInSite(SiteContext.CurrentSiteName))
UserInfoProvider.RemoveUserFromSite(existingUser.UserName, SiteContext.CurrentSiteName);
loggingInUser = UserInfoProvider.GetUserInfo(existingUser.UserID);
loggingInUser.UserName = e.UserName;
UserInfoProvider.SetUserInfo(loggingInUser);
I'm getting the error:
The user with code name 'ac.aa#test.com' already exists.
This is happening on that SetUserInfo line. So I'm thinking there must be another way to update the username properly.
You need to do a few things:
Check if the user exists already:
UserInfo ui = UserInfoProvider.GetUserInfo(newUserName);
if (ui != null)
{
// user exists with new username so don't continue
}
Check if the username can be used as a username (no spaces, special characters, etc):
if (!ValidationHelper.IsUserName(newUserName))
{
// username cannot be used as a username
}
Check if the username is reserved or not:
if (UserInfoProvider.NameIsReserved(siteName, newUserName))
{
// reserved username so cannot use it
}
I'm willing to bet the username is reserved or not valid which is why it is not saving. The assignment you have done should work without issue.
It also looks like you're performing this update in a global handler so this could cause problems with a few things. So you may have to perform that username update later on or simply write a record to a custom table and then update it from there based on the event of creating those records in the custom table.
So I'd debug through your code and verify it is working properly by removing it from the global event handler, if it works, then it's an issue with having too many things happen at one time.
Try using SetValue(string columnName, value) method, I just tested this one and it worked fine:
UserInfo updateUser = UserInfoProvider.GetUserInfo("NewUser");
if (updateUser != null)
{
// Updates the user's properties
updateUser.SetValue("UserName", "NewUserName");
// Saves the changes to the database
UserInfoProvider.SetUserInfo(updateUser);
}
For some properties/columns, which are acting like "read only", you need to use the SetValue method like it was a custom field (API examples)

Passing list of values to Cucumber scenario outline

I have a scenario to validate 100 employee names, The QueryString will return them in xml format.All I want to do is to validate all the employee names in an Assertion statement like given below. Instead of adding each name in the Scenario Outline Example, Is it possible to send a list of 100 employee names as input so that I can Iterate through them in java and could easily validate in Assertion condition. Please advice.
Scenario Outline: When the User queries for employee information, the correct records are returned
Given the webservice is running
When the User queries for employee information "<QueryString>"
Then the User receives correct data "<Name>"
Examples:
|QueryString|Name|
|Some localhost url|Peter|
|Some localhost url|Sam|
.
.
#Then("^the User receives correct data\"([^\"]*)\"$")
public void the_user_receives_correct_data(String arg1) throws Throwable {
queryResultPage = selenium.getPageSource();
assertTrue(queryResultPage.contains(arg1));
}
so i will answere here to LINGS comment
What you can do, is use these filenames in your step definition to load the files in your code. Cucumber doesnt support direct file loading as far as i know.
i use something like this to locate full ressource pathes for my relative path file names:
public static String getAbsoluteResourcePath(String resourcePath) {
if (SystemUtils.IS_OS_WINDOWS) {
return Utils.class.getResource(resourcePath).getPath().substring(1).replace("/", File.separator);
} else {
return Utils.class.getResource(resourcePath).getPath().replace("/", File.separator);
}
}
The resourcePath should then be your relative file path
What you are looking for is external test data support, which is supported with QAF. You can use any inbuilt data provider with interceptor to modify data set or custom data provider.
If you are using cucumber version 5+ you can use qaf-cucumber that will give you all qaf features with cucumber. For lower version you can run your existing feature files with QAF runner.

Codeigniter routing URL with product name to product id

I need to redirect the URLs like this http://mysite.com/store/store-name to http://mysite.com/stores/products/store-id. Note that i need to get the store id from the database. So is it possible to do db operations in routes.php?
And in documentation the syntax is give as $route['store/:any']. How to get the value of second parameter here which is mentioned as :any.
There's not really any good nor simple way of running database queries through the routes. You can however have in the beginning of the controller function a validation.
I asume your store-name is some sort of slug for the product? Basicly you can validate if value is numeric or not, and if not find by slug and then redirect.
config/routes.php
$route["store/(.*)"] = 'stores/products/$1';
/* () and $1 together passes the values */
controllers/stores.php
/* Class etc. */
function products($mix) {
if (is_numeric($mix))
$int_id = $mix;
else {
$row = $this->get_where('products', array('slug' => $mix))->row();
$this->load->helper('url');
redirect("stores/products/{$row->id}");
}
/* Do stuff with the $int_id */
}
This asumes that you have:
A table named products
A column named id that's your products id
A column named slug that that's based on your store-name
I may be a little late to the party, but I may have an alternative suggestion.
I use the following for my routes:
http://mysite.com/store/1/store-name
Reason being... Based on your method, if you create
http://mysite.com/store/store-name
but then after a period of time (of which no doubt Google has indexed your page) you decide for what ever reason you have to change the name of the store to "Wonderful store name", you would naturally change your link to
http://mysite.com/store/wonderful-store-name
Which kills your SEO and any index links.
My solution of using http://mysite.com/store/1/store-name means that you can change store-name to anything you want, but it will always reference 1 meaning the user will still see the related page.
Anything is possible with CodeIgniter routes. Its all in the way you code it. Routing in CI is really flexible. You can use regular expressions besides the standard CI wildcards (:any)(:num). You can even add prefixes or suffixes to the path variables if you have to like:
$route['store/(:any)'] = "redircontroller/redirfunction/$1";
// for instance the namelookup method of the mystores controller
$route['stores/products/(:any)'] = "mystores/namelookup/$1";
You get the second parameter(and third and so on) by defining the variables in your route value which get passed to the controller method you define. If 'products' in you new url is also a variant you should start your wildcard expression there instead. You could also pull parameters out of the url using the URI class ($this->uri->segment(n)).
You don't, however, do database operations in routes.php. You do your database operations in the controller where you route to. My guess is that you'll have to match the store id using whatever is used in the url in a query.
In any case the path that you are using the routes file for is the path the user will see. To do the redirect you have to accept the original path and then redirect the user to the new path like so:
// in some controller that's attached to the original url
public function redirfunct($var){
$this->load->helper('url');
redirect(base_url('stores/products/' . $var));
}
I hope this helps you.
Yes that is easy, you only need to show the ID instead of the name,
you must be doing like storeName> Click to view details
Make it as
storeId> Click to view details
and when you are passing the parameter to the database, change the check of mysql, change it to id instead of name , that can be some like
" select yourRequiredColumn from table_name where id=".parameter."
Thanks
