Dreamweaver CS5 opening .CSHTML razor files - dreamweaver

Is there a way to force Dreamweaver to open .CSHTML files as HTML file in editor, so I can use the code completion and all the other feature on a .CSHTML file
I was only been able to force it to open it in the code editor which doesn't have all the design features.

You may take a look at the following article.

Could I just recommend that if anyone is trying to open .CSHTML files in Dreamweaver and it is opening in TextEdit(Mac). What I did to solve this issue is to go to Preferences > File Types / Editors.
From here add ' .cshtml' to the "Open in code view" text box(note the space before the period, this is required).
Next I clicked the "+" symbol above "Extensions" list of file types, then added '.cshtml' to this list.
Close and reopen Dreamweaver and you should find that when you try and open a .CSHTML file(particularly opening the file via a 'Remote server' connection).
Daniel.

Sublime Text syntax highlighting html files as babel/javascript

Now that I have Babel installed for my React development I noticed that when I open .html files the syntax highlighting is set to javascript (babel) instead of HTML. How can I fix this? Here are also a couple of images that might help. Also a little extra thing, I am using the Afterglow theme for sublime text, and how can I remove the annoying padding on the last image underneath the tabs? You can see a few pixels of space which really annoys me.
You have probably overridden the default language settings for HTML files. You can verify this in the Syntax settings.
Open the View menu
Open the Syntax sub-menu
Open the settings for HTML
If my assumption is true, edit (or delete?) the settings for HTML.
Otherwise, you can assign a syntax to an extension through the same menu.
Open a HTML file
Open the View menu
Open the Syntax sub-menu
Select HTML in the Open all files with current extension as… sub-menu

How to open a file into the right editor (of split view)? [duplicate]

When I switch between files (Using ctrl-n for examples) in different editors, intellij always opens the file in the original editor the tab for the file is located. Coming from a vim background this seems counter intuitive for me. Is there a way to force intellij to always open the file in the same editor window?

When using Ctrl-Shift-N to open the desired file, Shift-Enter to confirm will maintain the focused tab group.

Sublime Text 3 Newly opened file override existing file [duplicate]

Today my Sublime 3083 became corrupted! I don't know why but every time I click on a file it opens on the same tab!
I cannot open two tabs at the same time. Fist file opens in a new tab and another opens in the previous tab and so on!
I did not installed any plugins recently. I just selected "Close Other Tabs" on menu.
What can I do?
Thanks
You must open the file using double click. If you open it using single click then you're using a feature called file preview, and that file will be closed when you preview other file unless the file has changes.
In addition, in the settings file you can set the preview_on_click option to false to disable the preview option; if you do that a click on the file won't do nothing, and a double click will still open the file in a new tab. As far as I know there's no option to open the file with a single click, only you can 'preview' the file (it's similar to open but the file get closed if you preview another file). Example setting:
{
"preview_on_click": false
}
I was facing a similar but little different problem. I was not able to view any tabs I was opening, and it was always opening a new file.
I fixed it by "View" -> "Show Tabs".

Dreamweaver cs6 and SCSS

I can't make my Dreamweaver CS6 to load sass (SCSS) files as css (it won't color it).
It was working fine on CS5.5 version. Now I have fresh DW CS6 with all updates (12.0.3) and I have modified all needed files.
Instruction is here or here.
DW still won't apply coloring to my code and when (while open scss file) I go to preferences --> code coloring, Document type highlighted is Text.
Any ideas? Maybe there are another files in CS6 I have to modify?
I found the solution. In CS6 in addition to the files listed in both tutorial (linked in the question), there is one more file that needs to be changed.
It's MMDocumentTypes.xml located in AppData files here:
C:\Users{username}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS6\en_US\Configuration\DocumentTypes
I had the same issue with Dreamweaver CS6.
I had to update the files in my hidden Library folder
First enable finder to show hidden files.
Open a terminal and paste the following:
defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles YES
Restart Terminal:
Keep “Alt” key pressed, put mouse over “Finder icon” – your app bar and “right click”. A menu appear and click on “Relaunch”
Open Finder and go to “your folder”
Go to (open folder by folder) Library. Application Support, Adobe, Dreamweaver CS6, en_US,
Configuration
Edit the Extentions.txt and DocumentTypes/MMDocumentTypes.xml files there.
Restart Dreamweaver and you should be good to go.
Update your terminal to hide hidden files
defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles NO

How can I configure Dreamweaver CS5 so that files with extension .less are edited with zen-coding?

How can I configure DW so that files with extension .less are edited with zen-coding?
I can use within the zencoding notepad + + on windows normally. But now I want to use the same way inside DW.
Edit (Dreamweaver on Mac) -> Preferences, File Types/Editors
Click the plus (+) button on the left-hand list. Enter ".less" without quotes. With the .less entry selected, click the plus (+) button on the right-hand list, browse to and select the application that you want to open .less files with. Then click OK to apply the changes. Then double click a .less file in the files panel and it will open up with the specified application.
Re-reading the question, I can see that maybe it is ambiguously asking how to add .less files as an editable file type so that Dreamweaver can edit the file. If so, then follow the steps in this Adobe technote:
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/164/tn_16410.html
You will need to search for the configuration configuration folder of the version of your dreamweaver. For example: if you are using version CS6, "c:\users[computer name]\appdata\roaming\adobe\dreamweaver cs6\en-us\configuration\menus\menus.xml"
You will now need to open the menu.xml file using either notepad or wordpad or any text editor then search for zencoding
change
to
Save the file and restart your dreamweaver.
try div#name and it should give you
I hope this works for you.
