Site automatically refreshing - browser

Since upgrading to Firefox 4, my site has been automatically refreshing. I haven't written any script for it to do so. It also adds "#" to the end of the URL. This does not happen in IE9, Chrome, Safari, or Opera; only FF 4.
Why does this happen? How can it be solved?

This issue was caused by a script Google analytical embedded into the site when I enabled their new heat map feature upon disabling it and clearing my cache the problem was solved

Azure pricing calculator not updating estimates

I am trying to price out various azure services and when I add them to the calculator and make changes the estimate does not update.
I have tried this in Edge, IE, Chrome, Firefox (normal browsing and Private) and I get the same results.
I also ran CCleaner and removed all of the files for each browser.
The calculator did work a few days ago.
Any ideas?
I had the same problem. A solution that works for me is to open a new InPrivate window from the Edge browser. (A new private window from Firefox did not solve the problem).
Perhaps the problem is related to cookies? I have not tested after deleting all cookies. #jake, when you used CCleaner, was it set to delete cookies or just cached data and files?
(For what it is worth, in the Firefox developer console I see several warnings related to failed loading of JS scripts. I can't say if such a failure is the cause of the problem, but it looks like Microsoft needs to do better testing of the calculator page.)

My Polymer website is completely broken on MS Edge

My website works fine on Chrome, Safari and Firefox, but for some reason is completely unusable on MS Edge. It freezes up, the styles are not being applied correctly, and the top bar jumps all over the place.
I have all the required Polyfills loaded.
Edit: Here's the source code.
I faced similar problems in the past and never found out what exactly caused it. What I would advise you to test is replacing webcomponents-light
with webcomponents-loader.
<script src="/bower_components/webcomponentsjs/webcomponents-loader.js"></script>
Make sure that you empty the cache and maybe disable the service worker for testing.

IE10: "Waiting for {domain's URL}" text occasionally gets stuck on tab's title ONLY AFTER refreshing it

I am a web developer and I first thought it was a problem with some of the sites that I maintain but it isn't. This seems to only happen on a page refresh in IE 10. HERE, clearly Microsoft connect team has agreed upon it as mistake with IE 10.
But my current websites needs to have some work around to fix this issue. Because Users does not know its bug with IE or bug with Webpage. Do anyone have an idea to work around this issue?
Its found as a minor bug in IE browser.

The above link confirms bug in IE from the Internet Explorer team.

EmulateIE7 mode set in IIS7/web.config does not show page in proper mode in IE11

I have a web site and IE8, IE9, and IE10 always worked great using IE=EmulateIE7 mode in HTTP header response from IIS/7, but this mode does not seem to render properly in IE11.
The page does not render or behave properly in IE11, although it works fine in EmulateIE7 mode in IE8 through IE10.
If I open F12 tools on IE11, I see the document mode is "7."
The only way to make IE11 working properly is adding manualy the domain to compatibility view mode, then it works great; but we cannot ask all users to manually activate compatibility view for our domains.
How is possible to force IE11 to render as IE7 without adding the domain to the list of compatibility web sites ?
Many thanks to any help !!!
I've been working on this the last few days and there's some bad news, it works, but in order to make it work, the user must add the URL/Domain of your site to the "Compatibility View Settings" of IE 11.
In other words, you can't force the browser to render in compatibility mode without the explicit acceptance of the user.
You will find how to configure it here:
www.windows8core.com/how-to-view-and-configure-compatibility-settings-in-internet-explorer-11-of-windows-8-1/
I have been able to get this to work if I add the X-UA-Compatible header in IIS itself. Not sure why it doesn't work when added to web.config

Sharepoint - Accessing PDF links via Chrome

Firstly let me state that I have zero experience with Sharepoint so this may be a pretty stupid question.
I started a new job yesterday and part of the induction is viewing the company literature via their Sharepoint portal. I've noticed that whenever I try to access an embedded PDF link via Chrome it seems like it's a broken link and appears to do a Google search instead. Yet when I try the exact same steps using IE all works as expected.
I don't want to raise this with my boss if it's going to make me look a little stupid! Is there some cross browser issue with PDF links?
Thanks.
Darren, try flushing the cache in Chrome, and if necessary, log off and log back into your computer. We've had the same problem with Chrome and Google doesn't seem to be fixing the problem (although they might point the finger back at Microsoft).
Yes I have the same issue with Chrome and Firefox
Sharepoint is optimized for IE and vice versa
You also can't open Files with the "Check in and Check out" functionality because only IE is able to do that from Sharepoint (Other Browsers will just Download the File)
You can try using AddOns like IE-Tab
(simply uses the IE algorithms within FF and Chrome for specific Sites)
But its better to use Sharepoint with IE
