I need to put a check beside a certain row, but when using this override of course I get the below warning. Where in MonoTouch.Dialog do I then enable a check?

This method is deprecated, and instead if you need to use this, you need to configure your UITableViewCells accordingly by setting the AccessoryType and AccessoryView properties on it.

I have a requirement where i need to weld a ContentPart to all the content types. Please guide me what is the best place to write this code.
I looked into the Orchard source code where InfosetPart is being welded with all content types in ContentHandlerBase's Activating method.
Following the InfosetPart weld mechanism i created one class inheriting from ContentHandlerBase and in Activating method i placed a break point with following condition which is getting hit again and again (more than once for one content type)
context.ContentType == "Page"
I'm not sure if it should be as it is because ideally it should hit this condition only once.
The way you are implementing it is correct. Your code is executed multiple times because content handlers are invoked for each content item, and not just for the content type. This also allows you to weld your part to only some of you content items, not all items of a specified type.
You wrote that you created a subclass of ContentHandlerBase. You should use ContentHandler as a base class.
Below is a simple code example how this should be done.

PRELIMINARY ANSWER
I haven't yet tried all of the techniques below, but it seems to be the way you would do it from reading the documentation. If I get some time, I'll try it out later and update this answer with results (or somebody else can do this and post a new answer or edit this one to create a definitive answer). I just wanted to publish something now to point you in what I believe to be the right direction.
If the below is not what you are looking for, add a few more specifics to your questions to fully describe what you want.
Don't using the #FXML annotation here. #FXML is for injecting values from the markup into the controller, not the other way around.
For your first example which is a constant, let's say your controller class is:

For your second sample which is not a constant or a part of the SceneGraph, you can use an fx:define element to instantiate an instance of the class. Note that you can't directly instantiate an Insets class from FXML as it has no builder class nor zero length constructor. So what you might be able to do is create another placeholder class for the information and instantiate a reference to that in your FXML (or you can create a Builder that FXML can use to instantiate the Insets).

SceneBuilder should be able to read fxml files which use the fx:define and fx:constant notation, as well as (possibly) make use of the reference expression $i.insets. SceneBuilder might not have any UI to allow you to edit the values from within the SceneBuilder application, so you will probably need to hand edit the fxml file portions related to the fx:define and fx:constant elements if you wish to make use of these structures.
There is an executable example of using an fx:define element in this mailing list post on designing resolution independent units in FXML.
In general, I think I'd be a bit cautious of maintaining these kind of dependencies between fxml and java code. It may be more prudent to do more of this kind of stuff in plain Java code within the context of the controller initialize method as scottb suggests.
The #FXML annotation enables the JavaFX objects whose names you defined (fx:id) to have their references reflectively injected into nonpublic fields in the controller object as the scene graph is loaded from the fxml markup.
To the best of my knowledge, this is a one way operation. There is no provision for having named static class variables in the controller object injected into the scene graph during loading.
You can accomplish something very similar to what you are requesting by defining the values that you want set as class variables in your controller object's class, and then setting the appropriate object properties programmatically (rather than in markup) in the initialize() method of your controller object.
The initialize() method is called (if it is present) after the loading of the scene graph is complete (so all the GUI objects will have been instantiated) but before control has returned to your application's invoking code.

Now I want to perform the search operation on tableview to search for table row contents to match the query.

Something I found in c# was the LINQ query which search in the list for condition.

Seems, there is nothing similar. You can file a RFE, or a Tweak, in JavaFX-2 jira, if you want to have such functionality (if it doesn't exist yet).
Or, if you know, how should it look like, you can talk to author of TableView, and implement it by yourself, and push according patch in an open javafx.
Practically, you can do a search over a collection of content of TableView, and apply value factory of each column for according value, and check, if it returns an appropriate value/content.

I want to create a JavaFX table that, in the cells of one column, allows the user to edit XHTML text. I only need very basic formatting capabilities like bold, italic, striketrough.
I have already managed to implement this by using my own subclass of TableCell and using a WebView for each cell (HTMLEditor would of course have been another choice, but my guess is that for my requirements, WebView should be sufficient).
However, to make editing comfortable for the user, I need the following features:
1. The cell height needs to resize if the user enters multi-line text.
2. A context menu (or, if not possible, some other menu or button) should allow formatting parts of the text in a cell as described above (bold, italic..)
Has anybody been successful in implementing something similar ? I have seen suggestions on the web, but they rarely included code samples.
I have succedded doing something similar.
I figured I can share some of the basic clues that allowed me to achieve it.
Resize the whole WebView. For that, the whole WebView must be an editable html page. You achive that by setting contenteditable to true:

You can have a context menu over a webview. But it is something tricky, as you must first disable the original context menu associated to it.

Now, for setting the font from within that menu, you need a bidirectional Java<->javascript bridge and use some javascript in the webview side.
I'm creating an IPad application using C#, Mono develop and Monotouch.
I've been using Monotouch.Dialog to create functionality similar to the wifi-settings on an iPhone. I'm using StyledStringElement with an accessory and am now trying to differentiate between tapping the row and tapping the DetailDisclosureButton.
I've been found out that I should override the UITableViewDelegate.AccessoryButtonTapped on the UITableView. I've tried to created a derived class from UITableViewDelegate and hook this into the Monotouch.Dialog. But this is where I got stuck. I didn't manage to replace the existing UITableViewDelegate with my extended version.
So my questions are:
Is this the preferred way of handling this event (to be able to differentiate between a tap on the element and a tap on the DetailDisclosureButton) ?
If not, any pointer on how to accomplish this ?
I have been searching the web for a (similar) example but have not found any yet. Any examples that you know of that could get me started ?

You will need to add this to the DailogViewController code that you are using (this will override the tapping action). Instead of a simple function, you may want an event to be triggered, so just handle the event in your main code. That is probably your best bet.
Once you change this line, you will have to implement new functions like AccessorySelected (just mimic the path the code follows when a row is selected except with accessory).
On the other hand, you could try a different navigation method, often disclosure buttons are annoying and you don't want to click on them except to get simple information about the button (like a help feature).
I haven't found any other examples, sorry!
