Paypal Related application in j2me and symbian - java-me

I want to know that can we make paypel related application in j2me and symbian OS?
Is it secure?
If we can make such application then can i get the api used for that.
Please help me for that.
Thank you

If you are asking whether PayPal offers any SDK for using the service on said platform through library APIs, the answer is no. See https://www.x.com/community/ppx/sdks?bn_r=m
If you are asking whether you could implement the NVP/SOAP APIs on this platform is: you could and it could be secure. It all depends on you ;)

How to read data sent via bluetooth by an App

I am a developer and I have a Bluetooth Lamp that has RGB and Day/Warm Light that has a third party App to control it.
My goal is to do some automation with my Lamp.
Is there a way to read what this app is sending to my Lamp is order to simulate its functionality? The thing is this App is not possible to integrate with my Google assistant so I am trying to find a way to do it my self by making my own mobile application to control my Lamp.
Or maybe my question should be something like: is there a generic App that can control generic Bluetooth Lamps?
Any information is greatly appreciated.
You could either hack the hardware itself, or you could simply snoop on the communications to hack in to the lamp controls.
Otherwise, I would check out integration platforms like IFTTT, which allows some customization of control with proprietary systems.

VoIP android studio

Hi I'm not very good with coding but I'm trying to learn as much as I can. I've been looking for tutorials on how to create an internet call app on android studio. So far I haven't found any. If anyone knows a process that could guide me I would very much appreciate it.
You can use android's own implementation
Session Initiation Protocol
from docs
Android provides an API that supports the Session Initiation Protocol
(SIP). This lets you add SIP-based internet telephony features to your
applications. Android includes a full SIP protocol stack and
integrated call management services that let applications easily set
up outgoing and incoming voice calls, without having to manage
sessions, transport-level communication, or audio record or playback
directly.
or other third-party libraries like following.
1.Pjsip
2.Mjsip
3.doubango
4.belle-sip
Hope it helps..

Happy Coding :)

VoIP client in a browser?

Google just announced that they will add support for VoIP calls in its Gmail application.
Does someone know how this will work? Did they manage to write a web-based VoIP client, or will they require the user to have Google Talk installed and somehow (how?) call this app from the browser?
I'd also like to provide customers with a way to make/receive calls through their browser, so that they wouldn't have to install an SIP client.
Thank you.
Google don't use a VoIP client in a browser. Instead the browser is used to initiate a callback to a phone number you must have previously registered. Once you answer that call Google Voice will then ring the destination number you specified and then bridge the calls together.
I've just noticed that in my inbox. They ask you to accept their EULA to start installing Google Voice. So it's not really a browser solution.
There are several companies that have built VoIP clients as e.g. Java applets.
It is totally doable, although depending on the exact requirements it may be expensive and time consuming: for instance, echo cancellation is not exactly trivial when you need to deal with arbitrary audio drivers across any and all laptops, netbooks etc out there.
There are also consulting firms that can help with that.
Full disclaimer: I own one such company ;)

Advertising API for Java ME applications?

I know AdMob is not for Java ME.
Do you know any other advertising API or services that can be used in Java ME application?
It might be really good if I can earn some money with my free Java ME applications.
http://adfonic.com/ Adfonic is what can I find now.
You can follow it's instruction from http://developer.adfonic.com/index.php/Getting_Started to allow mobile advertising from Java ME application.

Which mobile operating systems support J2ME?

I've been tasked with using WURFUL to determine whether or not a mobile browser is capable of downloading a J2ME app developed by my company.
I first thought I could use the "device_os" tag and filter by that, however, I'm unsure what the complete list of J2ME OS's are... any ideas?
I've been told there are no MIDP requirements, and that the application will run on any J2ME-supported handset (with two specific resolutions, which I already know how to query)
Thanks in advance.
There is no way to know all the OSes that support J2ME. Mainly because most feature handset comes with a proprietary OS which probably you have never seen before. It is a better idea try to identify the handset model and decide if it supports J2ME or not.
Another thing is, you may want to know which JSRs are supported by a specific handset. I do not know your application but probably you are using some optional JSRs that are not supported by some handsets although they have basic J2ME support.
Java ME SDK 3.0 includes a database of supported devices. Also there are other web sites that provides these kind of information. One example to those would be this J2ME Handsets web site.
If you are fine with just covering a large range of phones, you should include Symbian S60, S40, Windows Mobile, Blackberry and Android.
Symbian
Win Mob
Android
Almost every Sonyericsson phones
IMHO you don't have to worry about how many handsets support j2me because majority of the phones support it.
At least Symbian and Android.
