I'm trying to use a reconfigure grid on extjs 4.2, you can find its example with its original code here (go to Reconfigure Grid under Grids) but it doesn't find the file Office.js and Empolyee.js.
Code:
function init() {
Ext.application({
name: 'MyApp',
launch: function() {
const grid = Ext.define('KitchenSink.view.grid.Reconfigure', {
extend: 'Ext.container.Container',
requires: [
'Ext.grid.*',
'Ext.layout.container.HBox',
'Ext.layout.container.VBox',
'KitchenSink.model.grid.Office',
'KitchenSink.model.grid.Employee'
],
xtype: 'reconfigure-grid',
layout: {
type: 'vbox',
align: 'stretch'
},
width: 500,
height: 330,
lastNames: ['Jones', 'Smith', 'Lee', 'Wilson', 'Black', 'Williams', 'Lewis', 'Johnson', 'Foot', 'Little', 'Vee', 'Train', 'Hot', 'Mutt'],
firstNames: ['Fred', 'Julie', 'Bill', 'Ted', 'Jack', 'John', 'Mark', 'Mike', 'Chris', 'Bob', 'Travis', 'Kelly', 'Sara'],
cities: ['New York', 'Los Angeles', 'Chicago', 'Houston', 'Philadelphia', 'Phoenix', 'San Antonio', 'San Diego', 'Dallas', 'San Jose'],

When I try to open it on Google Chrome, I get these errors:
I have already tried to download both files from here and I put them somewhere of my project folder but the issue still persists.
Also I've tried to remove KitchenSink.model.grid.Office and KitchenSink.model.grid.Office from requires and then it works but the buttons don't work. I get this when I click on them:
Note: I'm using Node.js with Express for displaying my website since it's going to have server connections. So that's my folders tree:

What am I doing wrong?
To use view you need to do Ext.create instead of Ext.define.
Instantiate a class by either full name, alias or alternate name. If Ext.Loader is enabled and the class has not been defined yet, it will attempt to load the class via synchronous loading.
Ext.define
Defines a class or override. Doesn't return anything
Btw. you should require the view definitions in Ext.app.Controller, and use alias/xtype parameter for auto-creating views by shortcut.
function init() {

I found an answer related to Revision History "Querying for User Story revisions in Rally"
I am having trouble determining how to populate a grid with it.
Can I use the model and populate a story that the gird references?
Here is a working example, using other examples.
I had to populate an array with revision history info and add it to a story.
Then the story populated the grid.

In my application all component's titles/texts are localized based on store loaded before Application launch. In application i have button that changes store url and reloads the store to switch language. The problem is that all the classess are already loaded so components are rendered with previous locale. Here is the code of the button:
tbar: [{
xtype: 'button',
id: 'btn-test',
text: 'xxx',
handler: function() {
lang = 'en';
i18n.getBundlestore().load({url:'/GSIP/resources/gsip/i18n/bundle-' + lang + '.properties'});
//bun = Ext.create('I18N.ResourceBundle');
Ext.getCmp('mainview').destroy();
Ext.create('Ext.container.Viewport', {
id: 'mainview',
layout: 'border',
items: [
{
xtype: 'gsip_mainpanel',
region: 'center',
items: [{
xtype: 'gsip_categoriestabpanel'
}]
}
]
The exact same viewport creation is in my Application.js. lang and i18n are global variables. Old viewport is destroyed and new is created but how to force to reload classess. I dont want to use window.location.
Code updated:
handler: function() {
lang = 'en';
Ext.getCmp('mainview').destroy();
i18n.getBundlestore().load({url:'/GSIP/resources/gsip/i18n/bundle-' + lang + '.properties',
callback: function() {
Ext.create('Ext.container.Viewport', {
id: 'mainview',
layout: 'border',
items: [
{
xtype: 'gsip_mainpanel',
region: 'center',
items: [{
xtype: 'gsip_categoriestabpanel'
}]
}
]
});
}
});
}
CategoriesTabPanel:
Ext.define('GSIP.view.CategoriesTabPanel' ,{
extend: 'Ext.tab.Panel',
alias : 'widget.gsip_categoriestabpanel',
layout: 'fit',
items: [{
xtype: 'gsip_planytabpanel',
title: i18n.getMsg('key-1')
},{
xtype: 'gsip_adresytabpanel',
title: i18n.getMsg('key-2')
}],
initComponent: function() {
this.callParent(arguments);
}
});
and ResourceBundle (i18n variable is an instance of this class):
Ext.define('I18N.ResourceModel',{
extend: 'Ext.data.Model',
fields: ['key', 'value']
});
Ext.define('I18N.ResourceStore',{
extend: 'GSIP.core.RegisteredStore',
model: 'I18N.ResourceModel',
autoLoad: true,
proxy: {
type: 'ajax',
url: '/GSIP/resources/gsip/i18n/bundle-' + lang + '.properties',
reader: {
type: 'json',
root: 'pl',
successProperty: 'success'
}
}
});
Ext.define('I18N.ResourceBundle' ,{
config: {
bundlestore: Ext.create('I18N.ResourceStore'),
},
constructor: function(config) {
this.initConfig(config);
return this;
},
getMsg: function(key) {
return this.bundlestore.getAt(this.bundlestore.findExact('key', key)).get('value');
}
},function(){
//callback function, called before store load :(
}
);
Within the definition of widget.gsip_categoriestabpanel you set items as a config. This means it will always reference the same object (and not the updated one). As first step, you should move the items definition to initComponent, there you can also console.log(i18n) to see it's the right one.
I am new in sencha touch and need to achieve this layout on a single simple page:
I need an image and below the image, there should be a carousel containing two another images which the user can swipe.
Here is my code:
Ext.setup({
tabletStartupScreen: 'tablet_startup.png',
phoneStartupScreen: 'phone_startup.png',
icon: 'icon.png',
glossOnIcon: false,
onReady: function() {
// Create a Carousel of Items
var carousel1 = new Ext.Carousel({
defaults: {
cls: 'card'
},
items: [{
html: "<img src='teil1.jpg' width='320' height='60' alt='' border='0'>"
},
{
html: "<img src='teil2.jpg' width='320' height='60' alt='' border='0'>"
}
]
});
var panel = new Ext.Panel({
fullscreen: true,
html: "<img src='sport1_top.jpg' width='320' height='302'>"
});
new Ext.Panel({
fullscreen: true,
layout: {
type: 'vbox',
align: 'stretch'
},
defaults: {
flex: 1
},
items: [panel, carousel1]
});
}
});
The carousel and the panel containing the first image are displayed on the same portion of the page.
Am I missing something?
Thanks for your interest.
leon.
Removing the
fullscreen: true
from the sport1_top panel worked for me
Mark
This problem was nagging me too. After trying everything I could think of, what appears to help was to get rid of all of those fullscreen properties except on the main Ext.Panel, and use "layout:'fit'" on all of the cards, which I added to my defaults in the Ext.Carousel object.
var toolbar = new Ext.Toolbar({ title: 'testing', dock: 'top'});
var around = new Ext.Carousel({
ui: 'dark',
direction: 'horizontal',
defaults: { cls: 'card', layout:'fit' },
items: [
{ html: 'card 1'},
{ html: 'card 2'},
{ html: 'card 3'},
{ html: 'card 4'},
]
})
var panel = new Ext.Panel({
fullscreen: true,
layout: {
type : 'fit',
align: 'top'
},
defaults: {
flex: 1
},
items: [ around ],
dockedItems: [ toolbar ]
});
panel.show();
I believe you have to use layout: 'fit' for your Carousel (In your Panel, instead of vbox). Or you could make another panel SubPanel that has your vbox and that SUbPanel({layout: 'fit'});
I came across the same problem, I believe this works.
