i have configured sphinx with netbeans and its wroking fine. but im using a button to do the process. but after it recognisers. i want to do the process again. but then it gives a error saying the "logmath instance is already present" and saying cannot open the microphone.
can someone give me a solution. what i want to do is use speech recogntion in several times in the same form. till it gives the correct answer.
please help me
this is the error i get
"Creating new instance of LogMath while another instance is already present
10:53:27.833 SEVERE microphone Can't open microphone line with format PCM_SIGNED 16000.0 Hz, 16 bit, mono, 2 bytes/frame, big-endian not supported."
you are using the Recognizer again and again each time you done the speech recognition.
make sure to "
//Get the spoken text
Result result = recognizer.recognize();
"
call this above result only one time. if you call again and again in the same event. it will give a error. so make it public to call only once and do the process. then it should work

I'm trying to print some RFID tags and retrieve their TIDs to store them in my system and know which tags have been printed. Right now I'm reading the TID and sending it back to my computer (connected via USB with the my ZT421 printer) with the following code:
^RFR,H,0,12,2^FN0^FS^FH_^HV0,24,,_0D_0A,L^FS
^RFW,H,2,12,1^FD17171999ABABABAAAAAAAAAB^FS
This is repeated for each tag that I'm printing. However, when printing 10 tags, I only get 9 TIDs. If after that I try to print 7 tags, I still get 9 TIDs. To be honest I'm a bit lost now, because even trying to use the code examples from the ZPL manual (I've tried the ^RI instruction also) it doesn't seem to work.
The communication with the printer is beeing done through Zebra Setup Utilities' direct communication tool.
I tried to retrieve each printed tag TID with:
^RFR,H,0,12,2^FN0^FS^FH_^HV0,24,,_0D_0A,L^FS
^RFW,H,2,12,1^FD17171999ABABABAAAAAAAAAB^FS
but I always get 9 TIDs.
I also tried getting the TID with the ZPL manual example for the ^RI command:
^XA
^FO20,120^A0N,60^FN0^FS
^RI0,,5^FS
^HV0,,Tag ID:^FS
^XZ
And I got absolutely nothing returned to the computer, just a mssage saying "Tag ID:" and no value shown.
I would really appreciate some help with this...
Thanks in advance!
I've fixed the issue, but I'm going to leave the solution here just in case someone else is facing the same problem.
I thought that maybe it wasn't a code issue, but something related to the computer-printer communication. It turned out to be the case. The Zebra Setup Utilities program has a button that says "options". If you click it, a new screen will open and there you can configure the seconds that the program will wait for the printer response (in this case through USB). By default it's set to 5, i changed this value to 100, which is the maximum. This meant that instead of just printing and retrieving the TIDs of 6-9 tags, now I can do it for about 100.
This is not amazing because in my case it implied creating 25 files for the 2500 tags I had to print and store the TIDs, however it's far better than before.
Trying out the queue system for a better user upload experience with Laravel-Excel.
.env was been changed from 'sync' to 'database' and migrations run. All the necessary use statements are in place yet the error above persists.
The exact error happens here:
Illuminate\Queue\Queue.php:97
$payload = json_encode($this->createPayloadArray($job, $queue, $data));
if (JSON_ERROR_NONE !== json_last_error()) {
throw new InvalidPayloadException(
If I drop ShouldQueue, the file imports perfectly in-session (large file so long wait period for user.)
I've read many stackoverflow, github etc comments on this but I don't have the technical skills to deep-dive to fix my particular situation (most of them speak of UTF-8 but I don't if that's an issue here; I changed the excel save format to UTF-8 but it didn't fix it.)
Ps. Whilst running the migration, I got the error:
SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1071 Specified key was too long; max key length is 767 bytes (SQL: alter table `jobs` add index `jobs_queue_index`(`queue`))
I bypassed by dropping the 'add index'; so my jobs table is not indexed on queue but I don't feel this is the cause.
One thing you can do when looking into json_encode() errors is use the json_last_error_msg() function, which will give you a bit more of a readable error message.
In your case you're getting a '5' back, which is the JSON_ERROR_UTF8 error code. The error message back for this is a slightly more informative one:
'Malformed UTF-8 characters, possibly incorrectly encoded'
So we know it's encountering non-UTF-8 characters, even though you're saving the file specifically with UTF-8 encoding. At first glance you might think you need to convert the encoding yourself in code (like this answer), but in this case, I don't think that'll help. For Laravel-Excel, this seems to be a limitation of trying to queue-read .xls files - from the Laravel-Excel docs:
You currently cannot queue xls imports. PhpSpreadsheet's Xls reader contains some non-utf8 characters, which makes it impossible to queue.
In this case you might be stuck with a slow, non-queueable option, or need to convert your spreadsheet into a queueable format e.g. .csv.
The key length error on running the migration is unrelated. It has been around for a while and is a side-effect of using an older version of MySQL/MariaDB. Check out this answer and the Laravel documentation around index lengths - you need to add this to your AppServiceProvider::boot() method:
Schema::defaultStringLength(191);
I'm building a skill for Echo Show and I've been trying to loop a video (mp4) file. I use the below code to play the video:
if (this.event.context.System.device.supportedInterfaces.VideoApp) {
this.response.playVideo(LINK);
} else {
this.response.speak("The video cannot be played on your device. " +
"To watch this video, try launching the skill from your echo show device.");
}
Unfortunately, regardless of which looping function I use, I either run into a general Amazon error or it simply plays the video once.
I've seen another post that kinda showed how to loop an audio file, but I haven't been able to apply similar logic to video.
Thanks in advance!
The problem is looping is not yet supported for VideoApp directive. You can use Video apl component to loop a video. https://developer.amazon.com/de/docs/alexa-presentation-language/apl-video.html
I've never used corona sdk before and decided to create a key logger as a test to see if I liked corona.
I'm able to check input and specify the file path but once my code reaches io.open the simulater freezes and crashes and the input is not added to the text file.
I've looked just about every where I can think of for an answer and found none.
I'm sure this isn't the most efficient code out there. I'm a newbie to any type of programming outside of the ROBLOX engine.
function WriteToFile(String)
local path = system.pathForFile("R#T.txt", system.DocumentsDirectory)
print("Path") -- Just to try and determine the origin of the crash
local File, ErrorString = io.open(path, "W")
print("File")
if not File then
print('File error: ' .. ErrorString)
else
print("else")
File:write(String)
io.close(File)
end
File = nil
end
function ReturnInput( Key )
if Key.phase == 'down' then
print(Key.keyName)
WriteToFile(tostring(Key.keyName))
end
end
Runtime:addEventListener('key', ReturnInput)
Sorry to tell you this, but unfortunately you can not create keyloggers with Corona SDK. You can not create anything that runs on the background.
E.g. you can't make a floater widget and when you press it, you get screenshot.
I'm looking at using a X3270 terminal emulator. I have http://x3270.bgp.nu/ looked over this source material and still don't see how to start using the tool or configure it.
I'm wonder how I can open a terminal and connect. Another question is how could I integrate this into a python program?
edit:
here is a snippet:
em = Emulator()
em.connect(ip)
em.send_string('*user name*')
em.exec_command('Tab')
em.send_string('*user password*')
em.send_enter()
em.send_enter()
em.wait_for_field()
em.save_screen("{0}screenshot".format(*path*))
looking at the save screen i see that the cursor hasn't moved? I can move the cursor using
em.move_to(7,53)
but after that i don't get any text sent through. Any Ideas?
Here's what I do; it works 100% of the time:
from py3270 import *
import sys, os
host = "%s" % sys.argv[1].upper()
try:
e = Emulator()
e.connect(host)
e.wait_for_field()
except WaitError:
print "py3270.connect(%s) failed" % (host)
sys.exit(1)
print "--- connection made to %s ---" % (host)`
If you haven't got a network connection to your host, that wait_for_field() call is going to wait for a full 120 seconds. No matter what I do, I don't seem to be able to affect the length of that timeout.
But your user doesn't have to wait that long, just have him kill your script with a KeyboardInterrupt. Hopefully, your user will grow accustomed to success equaling the display of that "--- connection made ..." message so he'll know he's in trouble when/if the host doesn't respond.
And that's a point I need to make: you don't connect to a terminal (as you described), rather you connect to a host. That host can be either a VTAM connection or some kind of LPAR, usually TSO or z/VM, sometimes CICS or IMS, that VTAM will take you to. Each kind of host has differing prompts & screen content you might need to test for, and sometimes those contents are different depending on whose system you're trying to connect to. Your script becomes the "terminal", depending on what you want to show your user.
What you need to do next depends on what kind of system you're trying to talk to. Through VTAM? (Need to select a VTAM application first?) To z/VM? TSO? Are you logging on or DIALing? What's the next keystroke/field you have to use when you're working with a graphic x3270/c3270 terminal? You need to know that in order to choose your next command.
Good luck!
Please read my comment above first - it would be helpful to have more detail as to what you need to do.
After considering that…have you looked at the py3270 package at https://pypi.python.org/pypi/py3270/0.1.5 ? The summary says it talks to x3270.
